Took my 85 yo mothers 18 yo, 3 pound cat to be put sleep (our choice). Called vet and prepared them. Waited 45 minutes for vet to come in, give shot, and tell us she was gone. We told them we wanted the 3 pound cat cremated and they charged us $210 for these services. When I picked remains up, I had already checked other reputable vets in town who were $50-70 cheaper. I even went to crematorium and talked to them about what they charge local vets for cremation, which at most would have been $100. Needless to say, we were ripped off. When I confronted vet, she said she didn't charge us for "the shot" but did charge us for office visit (for what???) she didn't do any kind of exam. Told me she didn't like my attitude when I told her my mother would not be coming back. I personally had already changed vets 2 years ago when they botched a hysterectomy on one of my cats. I come to this clinic for boarding, grooming, and all of my pets' veterinary care. They have spayed and neutered several of my pets. I have never had a problem. They have always done a geat job and have been really nice and friendly. Read Less

This used to be a great vet when Dr. Kyzer was there, but after he retired Dr. Dunahoo took over and it has become a horrible place. We just took my 86 year old mothers cat in to purposly have her put down since Dr. Dunahoo had just seen her a week before and verbally confirmed that the cats kidneys were failing. We waited 45 minutes for Dr. Dunahoo to come in a give the cat a shot, that was it. We asked that the cat be cremated and they charged us $210.00 - unbelievable. When I picked up the cats remains, I questioned the charge because I checked with other very reputable vets in this area and they were $50-70 cheaper. She said she charged an office visit (FOR WHAT????) ($45.00). I personally had already changed vets for my animals, after they ""botched"" one of my cats hysterectomy.
