We took our boxer that had a lump on her to long drive cat and dog hospital and they couldn't tell us what it was and prescribed us a medication that cost$152.00.i found the same medicine online for$7.95..si we took her to angel vet and they removed the lump for$200.00 .wha wa classy place.they have a great staff . This pet hospital has gone above and beyond caring for my dog. Aside from routine visits we recently came in for emergency surgery which was completed and successful in the same day. Post op the vet/techs were great at communicating all care and what medication I would be administering. We had a standing appointment every day for a week after the procedure where he was monitored, had fluids administered, fed, and was cared for him throughout the day until the all clear was given. The staff has always been super courteous to myself and my pet. I also board my pet at this facility. He's always excited the moment we walk in the door as everyone greets him by name! I took my dog to be groomed. They took it upon themselves to do an exam and charge me for it. When I asked them about it, they said it's their policy to examine dogs they have not seen in more than a year. Since this was our first visit, this applied to us. However, they had not told us that on the phone when I called to make the appointment. We have a vet and I already paid to have my dog examined through that vet. They should be more transparent with their clients, and neither perform nor charge for unwanted services. Needless to say we will not be back.  As for the grooming, it was fine. Extra charges. I took my dog to be groomed, and they decided to give her an exam as well. They then charged me for that exam. I only wanted grooming as we already have our own vet. when questioned about it, they said it's their policy for new dogs or dogs that they have not seen in over a year. Very compassionate and reasonably priced. I have been bringing my 24 year old cat and my 6 year old dog to this vet since they opened, and have been pleased with the care and attention they have shown my animals. Dr Angel is the best vet ever! I have taken my dog to many vets, however Dr Angel is simply the best. My dog had a serious complication after her last dental cleaning with another vet when her airway collapsed (not Dr Angel). Dr Angel was so careful during her procedure and she had no complications after surgery. She is thoughtful, smart, and really cares about our animals. We are so glad we met her! Read Less

This is a wonderful veterinary facility with friendly staff, good prices, and excellent care. It came highly recommended to us by a rescue group when we were new to the area and adopted a dog. One of our dogs had a situation where she needed medication applied to her eye every day, and she wouldn't allow me to do it. She also had to swallow a bitter-tasting pill with no food. The wonderful staff took care of everything for me twice daily for a month. All I had to do was bring her and someone would give her the pill and eye medication, even on weekends when they were closed, and the boarding staff took care of it. They did not charge me a penny, but just wanted to make sure she had what she needed. Everyone who works there is super-nice--I think I met the entire staff with over 60 visits! This was the most horrible experience. I picked up both my dogs after being boarded for 48 hours and they were filthy and smelled of urine. The staff was not friendly nor apologetic with the lack of service. I will never entrust these people with my dogs again. I expect more for over $150. Read Less

This place serves the almighty dollar and not the good of animals. They do not have a heart as a group. It was not just one employee. I sought their help for a suffering stray that was slowly dying. They wanted money or they wouldn't help. It was a stray and I took it somewhere I thought I would get help. They told me to take it to the animal shelter. I was on my way to work and had no time. They told me they couldn't help me. I left it outside their told and told them if they have it in their heart they would help. In my attempts to get help for this dying animal I had them chasing me out the door with a pen and paper to take down my license plate number. I had to call the cops to get a unit out there. Ridiculous!!!! I grew up around a vet as my mom worked at one and she owned her own grooming shop. People dropped off injured animals all the time and we helped so I didn't think what I was seeking was out of the norm. I work at an ER and people drop off newborns and dropped off and that is perfectly legal. Do this to a cat and they call the officials. Some people can only serve if they receive cash and some of us help because it's in our heart to serve God's people and creatures.Read Less

First off, if you do not have compassion for your job and your clients DON'T WORK! We just recently adopted our dog from a previous owner who went to the crap place. We called to have his file sent over to Midtown Veterinarian and the receptionist was rude! My fiancé made a mistake by giving them the landline number and not fax, our fault; sorry we didn't get that down. But don't tell our current vet that you didn't have the dog in your system. So when my fiancé called back to tell them "hey, I need you to please fax and email us our dog information to our vet." The receptionist wants to cop an attitude? Telling him no the dog doesn't exist, and then he magically appears? Puts him on a hold and whatnot. When I called, the girl was rude. No name was stated, but obviously she was tired of answering calls. She gave me an attitude and said "yeah! I faxed it over, it's 2 pages." Glad my dog isn't going to this place. Owner, get some new receptionist. If you have rude people answering phones, imagine what they'll do to your pets behind closed doors. Sorry if we're such a bother and we wanted our new family member files to ensure he lives a long and healthy life with us!!! Read Less

Boarded my 2 dogs for 10 days for $387 w/tax. This vet provides great care for my dogs when they are brought in for their annual check ups. I have been using Angel's for the past 2 years and never had an issue w/their service. When my dogs are brought in they know who they are and treat them as if they were their own dogs. We used Banfield and that mistake killed our 6 year old lab.  They missed diagnosed lung cancer so 3k later and too late to do anything we turned to Angels to put her down as I did not want to back to  Banfield.  Angels was accomdating and gentle during one of the hardest days of our lives.  I will be taking my other two dogs there from now on. Never in hell am i coming back here. We sent our cats off to board with this pet hospital and after we picked them up, one of our cats suddenly died once we got home. Also my other cat came back looking skinnier. Because of this my other cat is terrified more than ever to even go back to a vet again. I have had a bad feeling about that place and i was stupid enough to ignore my instincts and now one of my cats is gone. Not only am i never coming back here, the receptionists are rude and they don't know how to talk to their clients. This place has given me perscriptions that were not for my pets (good thing I looked in the bottles before bringing them home). They have also given me signed quotes on procedues I was having done on my pets - - and when the procedure happens, they raise the price saying they forgot to put something on it the first time or that the price of the meds went up....in a day. They are not gentle with the pets and they're pretty rude - - well, I take that back.....they are not blatantly rude, but they are definately passive aggressive. I'm changing vets....... Read Less

This vet treats you as if you are not taking care of your dog properly if you say no to certain exams because of the fees for these exams. I had brought my dog in for a vet check because I thought he had an ear infection..they ended up doing the normal yearly check up on him....welll I came back a few weeks later for a certain shot he needed...which was part of a series of shots...I was on the second one....I had to walk out becasue they wanted to change me 30dollars for a normal vet check up...HE HAD JUST HAD A CHCEK UP A FEW WEEKS PRIOR!!! No they are denying me the purchase of trifexis!!! He has a test done already for heart worms! THEY ONLY WANT MONEY! My dog became sick 12 days ago. I brought her in and they immediately saw her without an appt and I had never been there before. They treated my dog for 6 days in a row and did everything they could. They were good to my baby and they worked with me to do everything they could. I will definitely make them my vet for my other dog. Read Less
