Long wait and staff seemed like they did not like felines. They were polite, but also contacted animal control because a tech got a very minor scratch from my cat.

Long wait and staff seemed like they did not like felines. They were polite, but also contacted animal control because a tech got a very minor scratch from my cat.
The cat's vaccinations are up to date until 4/24/18 and I was told they contacted animal control on the assumption that the vaccinations were out of date.
This was the first and last time I will ever go there. I don't appreciate them making assumptions that could endanger my cat with animal control without even waiting to verify information.
They need to learn how to communicate better and NOT jump to assumptions. This is an indoor only feline, whose vaccines are still current.
I don't understand how they're so terrified of her that this could happen.

Vca tomball is all about having you get high priced tests done for your animals so they can make max profit. Had multiple tests done on my animal and all came back negative just for them to tell me, it's nothing serious or it'll go away on its own. At one point my dog was prescribed a med for a skin infection, vet called saying he also had a uti tried getting me to come in to by the same exact med, that treated both a uti and skin infection. This place is all about the money. Recommend going to a locally owned vet not the big corporation vets. After my pet care plan is up I will not be going here any more.

Stubbornly focused on a clinical model that maximizes revenue. Lacks empathy to treat based on traditional observed symptoms and probable diagnostics, tactically 'selling' to get the big money irrespective of practical care and affordability. The same model that has driven our healthcare costs through the roof now being employed to skyrocket pet care. Sadley our pets suffer. Enter corporate process to maximize billing on any patient they sucker in. I was shocked by the clinical staff guilt-sell model.
