They put an IV in my cat and put the tape on too tight. Left him that way overnight and didn't check on him. His paw turned black and all of the skin died. All the vet would say was "yes we did have it on too tight." Like oh well. Now I have to watch him die slowly from infection. They also made me pay for some ointment to put on his paw. These people just looked at my cat like a throw away animal. Good luck to you if you use them. I need to add that we had to pay over 1000.00$ for the experience. Read Less

Do not come here if you have a chicken sick with something else besides worms. No point. You’re just throwing away hundreds of dollars for an “I don’t know, have some antibiotics.” First chicken ($60): $45 just for coming in and $15 for a fecal float test. “I don’t know, just give him some antibiotics”. Second chicken ($75): they decided to increase their prices, don’t know why. I was also given an “I don’t know” and she died a month later. Third chicken ($100): finally decided to give me antibiotics only because they thought they would lose my business, which of course they officially did. A week of antibiotics, no improvement, i call and he says, “well just send her to A&M for a necropsy”. A necropsy is about $150. What was the point in paying you all that money for an “IDK she’s going to die anyway”. Not only has this place lost my business, it has lost my respect. I had to take my little rattie here to be looked at. She was old and was expireiecing health problems, so she did have to be put down. Everyone was very compentent and attentive. The whole staff was understanding and caring through the whole process. Even the reception said that she was sorry for our loss. The vet referred to my pet as her name and was very warm and kind. At no point did I feel rushed or judged. A great small town clinic! My family plans on going here from now on. Update: it has been about a month since my little friend was put down and I just received a card in the mail from the clinic. 10 people signed it, apologizing for my loss and even using my pets name! Once thought of this place as the last health care provider for our 3 dogs but after recieving a $1000 bill due to our oldest dog "Major" being sick and they kept him two days, only to give up on him told us to take him to A&M or put him down he's very sick with a list of problems mega esophagus, MRSA, etc. We carried him to a different vet charged me $240 took him off all medication's and said he didn't see any mega esophagus, Mrsa, and sent him home. 3 weeks later, Major is doing great has all his hair back, plays with our other two dogs. I have never been upset enough to write a review, but after the experience my daughter and son-in-law had today with this clinic I feel as if other pet lover's should know. They were very rude and unprofessional. They vet had no compassion only was worried about the fee's for there service's. We are a middle class family who both work, and our pet's are a part of our family. We drove from Rosebud to Waco and was recommended to this clinic. In the 20 minutes we were there we received a 200$, rude service and was accused of trying to not pay (theft of services) I am assuming that since they treated my dog in my car, they just assumed we going to leave. Kind and compassionate. Not our regular Vet, he was out of pocket. Our old dog happend to have an "event' that immediately precluded her recovering. It was time for her to go to the Bridge and await us. We transported her in our vehicle and they were gracious enough to come outside to the pickup and administer the shot while she laid in the seat she had ridden with me in for so many years. I have always had an amazing experience with them until recently. My dog was attacked so it has left me with an outstanding bill I wasn't anticipating or saving for as a college student. I asked the day she got attacked if I could come in, but couldn't pay up front and they agreed to that. Everything I told was a lie. Even on the month that I make a payment, I am incurring a monthly service fee and they are just very rude every time I speak to the owner or office manager. First visit today and this will be my Vet for many years to come . The staff was informed and informative . There was no charge for the visit itself , just for the services provided. Claws clipped , blood tests for heart worm feline leukemia etc . Rabies shot , wellness exam (no charge) , and six months of Flea / heart worm preventative all for $150 out the door . For those pet owners that cannot afford "up front " fees maybe they should re-evaluate pet ownership , for me this place is worth the investment and the treatment was priceless !!! No one asked me to review , I inquired if there was a site where I could provide positive feedback because I was eager to share my experience. Missy and I will be back on the 4th of March as I trust them to care for her while I must be away on business . They include daily TLC human interaction for a very reasonable and competitive price in a clean and caring environment. As a responsible pet parent I feel confident leaving my fur baby in their compassionate care. The person that I talked to on the phone made me rate this because of the fact I got ridiculed for just now calling about my Guinea Pigs. 1- I can't afford 150+everything else 2-If I was home at all today I would have called sooner. 3-I can't afford my own insurance so how could afford theirs. And I have no credit to do that credit insurance for them. 4- On ya'lls web page it specifically "Pets are members of your family, and we will treat them with the time and patience they require and deserve. From wellness exams and vaccinations to surgery and critical care, we offer a variety of services to fit your needs." Where in all 9 fresh layers of hell, did that go?!? I am worried about my fur babies!! And got refused service because I can't fucking pay upfront!! If your webpage was right there would have been some way to get them the help they need! Because of your false statements on caring about other peoples pet family I have to WAIT to get them checked out!! And that probably won't be until I get paid next week and only God knows what is going to happen to my babies! On Sunday morning, I get a call from my husband telling me that something is wrong with my Theodore (2yr old prairie dog). He has a golf ball sized lump on his neck with a bleeding open wound on top of it... WHAT?!?! Vets that deal with prairie dogs aren't very common, so his vet is in Temple. I called them only to find out that they have no after-hours services available After a few frantic phone calls, someone advised me to call Cottonwood Creek. The call was routed to Dr. Eichhorn, who immediately eased my mind and met my guys at the office within the hour. Theodore had an abscess. She took care of the abscess and even trimmed his nails and teeth while she had him under. A couple hours later he was out the door with antibiotics. Three days later: his spirits are back at 100%, his wound is about half the size it was, and we have officially found a new vet (for all of our animals). I absolutely love Cottonwood Creek and Dr Roesmich! They are all so sweet and compassionate to their patients. We had a dachshund with back pain, and Dr Roesmich did all he could to help her and keep her as comfortable as we could for 1.5 years. Last month my family and I had to make the difficult decision to put our beloved Great Pyrenees, Kenzie, down just 2-weeks shy of her 12th birthday. She was suffering from a very aggressive bone cancer and it had gotten to the point where her quality of life was almost completely depleted. I called several local vets to get advice and to inquire on home euthanasia visits. After several unsuccessful phone calls, I was finally given Cottonwood Creeks information from a family friend. I knew when I spoke with them on the phone, they were the vet for me. They were so kind, gracious and genuinely concerned for our situation. Although it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, they made us feel comfortable throughout the process. i called to schedule my new kitten to get wormed and was told i should do a fecal first to make sure she had them. so i took her in for the fecal exam about a month ago, and was asked to bring a fresh sample. they took the kitten to the back and performed their own exam, and left me with a very fresh bag of poop in my hands, and then told me the fecal was negative for worms. a week later i found a worm on my cat, called the vet, and was told tapeworms don't show on fecals? so I'm not going back. still expected to pay for wormer which i understand, but how can i continue to go there if they aren't honest about the procedures and offer no solution. They were polite and considerate of my mothers feelings when the time came to put her down. Both Vets took the very best care of Barbie and helped her to be comfortable to the end. They have the experience to make the right diagnosis and the character to do the right thing. They both have doctored my 6 dogs and I tell you they truly care! They spend the time to listen to my concerns and give thoughtful advice on how "we" are going to doctor them back to health. I have always had animals in my life and have always had good vet care. We just moved here and will love having them as vet for ALL our farm animals and pets. Goats, kangaroos, rabbits, ducks, cows, horses, pigs, monkeys....they see them all!! My dog received severe injuries in being run over by a car. Dr Eichhorn was so knowledgable, so caring. She and all of the staff worked together quickly and easily as a team. She explained well the extent of his injuries and made sure to stabilize him before performing surgery. I will forever be grateful to her and her team. My dog went in Friday morning and received the best of care all weekend!! She communicated daily, sometimes twice daily while he was in care even through the weekend. He is doing miraculously better. I LOVE them and can never say enough good about Dr Alese Eichhorn and all her team!! They do emergency and regular care visits. I would without hesitation trust them in boarding animals as well it is obvious they receive the best of care. (I never leave my animals with anyone but family and I would leave them here) They did not charge an arm and a leg but were very reasonably priced as well.Read Less

I did not have a good experience with Dr Eichorn. My old gelding was loosing mobility in his hind quarters so we took him in. First assessment was Colic, knew he wasn't colic because no signs of it. Second assessment was cooler weather may have his arthritis flared up, Third assessment was maybe he hadn't been drinking enough water, Fourth assessment was it was Epm...Had to ask what Epm was. She didn't ask to walk him and let her see what I was describing. I"ve never been to a vet that didn't first thing want to look at their walk. Beside manor is not the best. Her two young assistance were very good, very social. Dr wanted to do mineral oil just to be sure it wasn't colic. I said no, just want to get him comfortable because I knew he wasn't colic. So left there with Bute and a shoot. Took him to his Vet this morning, which wasn't available yesterday, and one look at him walk diagnosed with Epm. He was put down 2 hours later. Never opened the medicine she sent me home with for the arthritis. VERY upsetting! We have used Dr Roemisch for our cows and he is wonderful but Dr Eichhorn needs to learn some compassion. I wonder how she would have liked going to her GP and leaving with 4 diagnosis!Read Less
