The receptionist is nice, responsive to emergency type visit. My regular vet was not in the office. Callfield gave us an appointment. The vet assistant was thorough. The vet quickly found the problem and treated our dog. He is home on the mend, even though it will take a few days for him to be back to norm. Read Less

We took our boxer Zeus to CCAC last week for his first checkup and everyone was extremely friendly. Zeus enjoyed going for his first time and didn't even mind getting his first shots. What really impressed me was someone from the office called this morning to check on Zeus. Asked how he was doing and let me know they were available anytime we needed. Amazing place! Read Less

I just moved into to town and my ornery 8 year old dog was having some issues that I felt needed professional attention. I called around and these guys were the only office that could see him today. There was an initial fee ($39) to hold our appointment because we were not established; however, the fee was deducted from the total visit cost. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Dr. Spears (female) was the Vet who saw my dog today and she was so calm and kind to Ernie, even though he wanted nothing to do with her. She even got on the floor so that he was more comfortable in the new environment. She was thorough and explained everything to us, even offering different treatment options depending on the budget I had to work with. I feel confident in this office and will certainly bring all of my current and future pets here for any routine or emergency treatments. Read Less

We just moved here and we needed to get our dog Peanut a rabies shot and get her licensed. We came in and the first thing that hits you is there is no smell....none....at all. I didn't know Veterinarian's offices didn't have a a smell, this place is super clean.  We got our shot, got some preventative flea and heart worm meds and we even got our city dog license.  Everyone was super nice, from the ladies at the front desk, to the vet, Dr. Bruce and our vet tech Kyndal.  We will be back and I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. I walked in at 4:30 pm on a Friday with my sick dog, Mila, and no appointment. The staff greeted me warmly and professionally. The receptionist showed genuine concern for my Mila. I was given a work-in appointment. Within 10 minutes, Mila and I were in a room. Mila had blood work done and fluids administered. The vet prescribed antibiotics and suggested a dog food that is easily digested. (Much to my embarrassment, she left a token of her appreciation on the floor as I paid the bill.) I'm happy to report Mila has recovered quickly from her stomach issues. And she's back to playing fetch with her favorite squeaky toys. They fit me in without an appointment when my 1 yr puppy jumped out the back of my pickup. And they call a few days after being seen to check on your pet. Overall it's a great place. A little pricey (it's about $70 just to be seen), but the service is great.Read Less

Love them! Everyone from the receptionists to the veterinarian, wonderful and professional people. I know quite a few reviews on here talk about them being expensive, however that hasn't been my experience. I personally think the pricing is very good, especially compared to larger cities. Very disappointed. I am currently in China, and was hoping for more understanding and treatment of my dog. Got bumped by a car on a Sunday, took her to the vet, cost me 250 just for five minute visit and another 280 for ONE Xray. Dr couldnt tell me ANYTHING. Then wants to charge me 400 more to keep her one night. I couldnt pay all at once. Was going to take me 2-3 days to send her the money from here. I asked if she would just give my daughter the meds for the dog to take home...about 30 bucks worth. She would not do it. Sorry, but this is a vet who is all about the money,not the dogs. As one of the previous review stated, they'really all about the MONEY! If you call after hours, the recording only says, they only except established patients and their price for how many hundred dollar it is for an after hours visit. That's it! Doesn't give hours open, or an alternative emergency vet clinic. I talked to one of the Vets and told them how it sounded, that they only cared about the money. They have not changed the message. If your pet is sick during their office hours, they give good service, but you pay for it. Also, boarded my two dogs there, they do not give a discount for a second dog. $$$$ Read Less

Not very happy right now. Our dog Maui is so sick! He went to the vet on the 4th of December. They gave him meds for his liver and antibiotics. $350. Had to take him back next day. They charged us another 45 dollars for recheck charge next day. Has been in the hospital untill the 8th. $1147.19 later he is as bad as the day we took him in. Vet on call told us he wagging his tail, doing so much better. Now they informed us we have to take him to another vet for a sonagram. So sad to see him suffering. Pancreas, Liver, Prostate, Please give us a diagnosis before we go broke. We feel you misled us on his prognosis. He still can't eat and can barely walk. And that's why we brought him to you. We have an 18 year old dog that you took care of when he was a puppy. Expected better care. Read Less

I've had excellent service from them each time I've gone. I would recommend them to anyone new to the area. One of my cats really REALLY hates being poked and prodded by strangers, so you can imagine how he freaks out during a vet visit. They've always been excellent at keeping him from hurting himself or anyone else, while still getting the job done. There prices seem to be about average for the area too. (They probably aren't the cheapest, but their service is good enough that I don't mind.) Read Less

I have 3 cats. One is old and cranky and lets everyone know how much he hates being at the vets. Every time they've dealt with him, they've done an excellent job. When I had to bring in all three at once for shots, they were very accommodating about doing it in a way that caused the least amount of stress.For cats, a regular check up and standard shots is just under $70 as of 2013. You can probably find a place that's cheaper. (Though when I called around for shot prices, $60-$70 seemed the going rate for vets in this area.)  I'm not, however, looking for the cheapest place to take my pets, so being a little more expensive than some other place is not an issue for me.The staff is friendly and professional and the building is clean (it even smells nice!). They're good about getting me in for appointments and answering questions. They also appear to be the only clinic in Wichita Falls that's AAHA accredited.All in all, I'd recommend them to people in the area. Read Less

The place is clean, but they charge way too much for their services, and the staff seem stressed out. The vets always seem very competent though. We recently had our dog neutered and chipped, no antibiotics afterwards (we had some). The cost was a whopping:  $400, with the Elizabethan collar it was $450.  They are also the only vet I'm aware of in Wichita Fall that will provide emergency services. The doctors and the entire staff are the most caring and loving for pets and pet owners. Their care and expertise are over the top! They have ministered to me and are very understanding of the love I have for my Yorkie, Chewy. When Chewy needed treatment for a dislocated hip at midnight and on a weekend, t!ey met us at the clinic and immediately took care of his problem.
