Dr. Christina Coker Odom was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She is Texan through and through being a fifth generation Texan! Dr. Odom attended Texas A & I in Kingsville to receive her BS in Animal Science. She went onto Texas A & M and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1994.
After receiving her D.V.M. from A & M she started her own clinic, Longview Vet Hospital. She owned and operated Longview Vet Hospital for 18 years. Dr. Coker Odom specializes in preventative surgeries and medicine. She was named Best Veterinarian of East Texas several years. She relocated to Lubbock, TX. Her new clinic, Animal Medical of Wolfforth opened in January 2012.
Dr.Coker Odom is a lifetime member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. She is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Equine Practitioners, the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, the Harley Owners’Group, The National Rifle Association, Ducks Unlimited and the Texas State Rifle Association.
Dr. Coker Odom has 2 daughters, 1 son and 3 cute as can be grandchildren. Her hobbies include horses, bird hunting, riding her motorcycle with any willing passenger in her sidecar!

Dr. Fletcher misdiagnosed my dog and she died because of her lack of training. I went in and told them that I think she has cancer due to welps she had on her body. They didn't do a skin scraping until weeks later. By this time I had already taken her for a second opinion and got the awful news she did in fact have cancer. We had her euthanized and two days later, AMC called me and told me it was cancer. Not once did they ask how she was doing! THERE IS NO FEELING LIKE BEING A BAD MOM BECAUSE I CHOSE TO TAKE HER TO DR. FLETCHER! THE GUILT TORE ME UP AFTERWARDS BECAUSE I THOUGHT SHE KNEW WHAT SHE DOING AND MY DECISION TO TAKE MY DOG THERE CAUSED MY DOG TO SUFFER AND ULTIMATELY PASS AWAY! SHE DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE A 1 STAR BUT THAT IS THE LOWEST I COULD GO!

I drive 30 minutes (past other vets) to bring my great dane to this clinic. When we walk in the door, my dog is greeted by her name. The clinic is always clean. Every employee is extremely sweet and gentle. They always take time to answer my 'crazy first time dog owner' questions. Their fees are reasonable and they are available for after hours emergencies. I am so glad I finally found a vet that is knowledgeable, caring, and affordable!

These are the best people in the world they are all very nice and caring! They got me through one of the worst things to happen in my life and I'm very greatful for it! I've had many vets over the years and they are #1 I highly recommend if you truly love your pets to bring them here if you want the right care for your babies!

I used to take my dog to a vet in Lubbock. When I got into trapping feral cats for humane trap-neuter-return, I took them to Animal Medical of Wolfforth because I knew that Dr. Fletcher was good with feral cats. I was impressed with how she cared for the cats, and how approachable she was about medical questions. When my regular vet was out of town on a 2 week vacation and my dog had an irritated ear, I took him to AMW. They were able to fit us in and see us quickly.When my friend's dog got attacked by 2 Pit Bulls, I remembered that Dr. Fletcher would take emergency calls, so we called her and she came up after hours to treat him. She kept him overnight, gave him medicine, did x-rays, and kept my friend in the loop. And her fee was SO reasonable compared to the Small Animal Emergency Clinic.Just one week later, my dog had a focal seizure. I didn't know what it was at the time so I took a video of it, and called my regular vet. The staff there said, don't bother to send in the video, no need for an appointment, it is probably something in his eye. I sent the video to Dr. Fletcher's staff, and they emailed it to her (even though she was out of town). She looked at it and gave me future care instructions for him.I think I have a new primary veterinarian now! I feel like the staff really cares here and I also like that I can get an immediate response when required.The office is on the access road on the highway that runs right through Wolfforth, by Mueller metal buildings. I usually drive on the highway and turn at the stoplight that is on the highway. I come from Lubbock.

On several occassions I've boarded my Austrailan Cattle Dog at Animal Medical of Wolfforth. They have a boarding facility which is nicer than any I've ever seen, the entire staff knows my dog by name...
On several occassions I've boarded my Austrailan Cattle Dog at Animal Medical of Wolfforth. They have a boarding facility which is nicer than any I've ever seen, the entire staff knows my dog by name and you can tell each and everyone of them has spent time with my dog. They take better care of her, than she gets at home. If you ever need to have your pet boarded or need any veternarian services this is the place you NEED to make an appointment.. It doesn't get any better thank this!!!

I was impressed with how she cared for the cats, and how approachable she was about medical questions. On several occassions I've boarded my Austrailan Cattle Dog at Animal Medical of Wolfforth. They have a boarding facility which is nicer than any I've ever seen, the entire staff knows my dog by name and you can tell each and everyone of them has spent time with my dog. They take better care of her, than she gets at home. If you ever need to have your pet boarded or need any veternarian services this is the place you NEED to make an appointment.. It doesn't get any better thank this!!!
