DO NOT TAKE ANY OF YOUR SWEET PETS HERE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. To say it bluntly, they killed our baby 5 month old bunny yesterday. We brought in our two baby bunnies to be spayed in the morning and within a couple hours received a very cold insensitive call that our baby Churro had died. She started by saying she had bad news about Churro, talked for 3 minutes about the surgery and how she “realized after awhile that Churro wasn’t breathing” … not right away, but AWHILE… which tells me they weren’t even monitoring her, they just left her in a room to die. Then ended with “Churro is dead”… there was no empathy and no apologies just cold “your pets dead” in a tone that felt as if she thought it wouldn’t matter since it’s a bunny. She also tried to tell me that Churro was “really old, and that’s probably why she died”. When I replied with “she’s 5 months old, We got her in April this year as a tiny baby bunny from the same litter the other bunny is from”… she argued with me TWICE more telling me that Churro was old. When I started asking questions, she immediately told me to hold and left me on hold for TWELVE MINUTES. The next person I spoke to couldn’t tell me whether or not I had to PAY the $500+ for the surgery they did that resulted in Churros death. Then she put me on hold. Then the dr got on the phone and started telling me the story from the beginning… she told me that they shaved Churros mats before the surgery and that she seemed “extremely stressed” before they put her under. I told her to stop right there, because I had advised the technician that took her into the vet to not shave Churro unless there was time while she was under… and I could schedule another time if not. So they went against my direct instructions on this, stressed her out completely, then did a major surgery. Her response to this is that “well crystal is new and doesn’t know how the surgery works and you can’t put a bunny under that long to shave them. Also because of Covid, many have left our clinic so we are short staffed”…. She basically told me the person that took our baby Churro into the clinic, not only didn’t know how the surgery worked, but didn’t know how to answer my questions or relay information correctly. If that’s how you describe your employees they should not be dealing with the pet owners at all, and especially not alone. At this point STILL no one has told me if we have to pay for Churros surgery and I’m on hold. I finally hung up after sitting on hold forever and the Director called me back. He was the FIRST interaction so far that started with “I’m sorry for your loss”….. when speaking with him he asked “so you know that shaving has stressed Churro out in the past?”… abs I replied with “YES, BECAUSE YOUR CLINIC IS THE ONE THAT GROOMED HER PREVIOUS AND COULD NOT FINISH BECAUSE SHE WAS AO STRESSED” unreal that he didn’t even know they had treated Churro previously. he told me everything I experienced so far with their clinic was unacceptable and seemed to actually care that I had to break my daughters poor heart telling her that her baby bunny had been killed. We drove there to pick up our other bunny as well as Churro. My husband had to go back and forth with them on whether we were paying or not for over 30 minutes. The Director came out as well as two others and it felt like ganging up on us to me. I stayed in the car because I had been crying all day with my daughter and was way too mad to interact. After we left I spoke to multiple places in SLC that spay and neuter and they all couldn’t remember the last time they had lost a bunny to that surgery and told me “they must’ve not known what they were doing somehow because that shouldn’t happen”. One specifically, spays about 3 bunnies a day and couldn’t believe my story. All in all, what it comes down to is they killed our baby bunny and the fact that we even had to ask and discuss payment was disgusting. We wanted to pay full price for two surgeries, not get half off and come home with one dead. We now no longer have our sweet Churro and can never hold her again.

Parrish Creek fit me in between appointments, helped me the DAY that I called, were fair and consistent with their prices, and very kind hearted. Thank you for helping me and my fur baby, I will continue to be a loyal Parrish Creek customer. I can’t thank you enough.

Price wise they are more expensive than other veterinarians I've heard about. However they WILL, take excellent care of your pet, I have taken my pet Rats here, as well as my puppy and they have been amazing to work with in both situations. It's worth the 20 extra minute drive to take them here.

Everyone at Parrish Creek was wonderful. I felt that they really took the time to listen to all of my concerns and to answer all my questions. They mapped out different recommendations for my dog but I didn't feel pressured to commit to anything I wasn't ready for. I will definitely be bringing my dogs here again.

The staff was very caring and took the time to not only listen to our concerns but answer all of our questions. We did not feel rushed or pressured into treatment we could not afford like many other vets we have been to. And they see exotic animals too which is hard to find in this area. We definitely recommend them and will using them for all our veterinarian needs!!

Took my dog here as he was having trouble with his knees. They were very calm and gentile with him. Staff is so nice and helpful. They took x-rays right then and there. They showed us and educated us about what was seen in the x-rays. Not only are they experts in Dogs and Cats, but other exotic animals and reptiles as well. They do make you pay for services at the time of service, which is common practice at all Vet Clinics.
They are my new go to Vet clinic in Davis County. We love you guys.

Oh my goodness, love them! They are so bound, went out of their way to answer a million and a half of my questions! Tom good care of my parrot, and even gave me a binder with her picture on, he profile, care /husbandry Guide, and sub categories! And samples! My relationship with my parrot is relatively new, this was my first trip to a vet's office. The doctor was wonderful too! He was kind to my girl, and very familiar with her rare species in the US! He didn't wear gloves or long sleeves Both of which she is terrified of. Highly highly recommended!

Unfortunately, we never did get to work with the actual vet at Parrish Creek. When we took our 5 month old puppy for his shots, the staff acted like he was poorly behaved and obnoxious. He was new to the vet and excited/nervous. When I asked for a quote to have him microchipped and fixed, they gave me a printout of the costs (which I appreciated). The low cost was $350 and the high was $440! After seeing these numbers we ended up driving our boy 3 hours back to our vet in Idaho.. where the total cost of neutering him and getting him microchipped was $175. The staff in Idaho treat him like a million bucks every time and are more worried about the pet than the money. I'm sure Parrish Creek is fabulous, we just didn't have a very good experience. It's worth the 3 hour drive to Idaho for our puppy's healthcare.

I am very unhappy with the service I got at this clinic. We called ahead of time and told them exactly what was happening with our bird and was told it would be $80, when we got to the clinic it had increased to $200 which we paid before they would see the bird, when we went back to pick up the bird they extorted another $250 out of us before they would let us take the bird home. It's a $400 bird and they charged us $450 to confirm that it had bruising and nothing else wrong. They should have called to approve additional services beyond the $200 agreed to up front.

I started going to Parrish Creek for my "exotic" pets and always have had a wonderful experience. All the vets are knowledgeable and great to work with. I recently adopted a cat and found out here had some pretty bad dental issues. We had our first visit on a Friday and by Wednesday they had him fixed up. Eating has been much easier for him and I am so grateful for the staff here!

Such an incredible place. Our Scarlet Macaw was having chronic issues that could not be solved by other vets....until we came here! They diagnosed her and did all the tests she needed within a very timely manner and you can tell they did it with care. She was considered an "aggressive" bird prior to her visit, her demeanor has completely changed and she appears to be a happy bird again! Thanks to the veterinarians and staff at Parrish Creek! We will be bringing all of our birds here in the future! Thank you so much for everything that you do here!

MY previous vet referred me to Dr Folland because he couldn't handle my birds issue. I was very surprised when Dr Folland and his staff stayed al almost an hour and a half past closing time with me and my bird. He went over everything about her with me . You can tell that him and his staff really cares about the animals. I'm very selective and cautious on who I let near my birds they are like my children. I will be staying with Dr folland as their regular vet.

I have tried a lot of vets in the Salt Lake City area but Parrish Creek Veterinary Clinic is the only place I trust nowadays.They are up to speed on the latest techniques and technology and they have fair prices. They don't try to sell me stuff I don't need and they're always professional and follow up to see how my animals are doing.I am grateful to have a veterinary clinic of this quality close by!

Dr. Folland Did a great job caring for and neutering my little rabbit. We have lost a rabbit in the past because we cheaped out and just went to a dog/cat vet, so I was very worried. The friendly staff made my appointment so easy. He was up and running around that same night! Well worth the money, after all you are paying for top notch professional care!

I chose this vet after my daughter went on a school field trip there. When i took my dog- Each time I went in, the staff was very indifferent and even rude. I really don't know why. I paid my bill and didn't bother them with questions. When my dog was sick and I was worried about her, I asked every hour for the three hours she was there for an update. The receptionist was very put out and distraught at having to tell me anything. She was short and not compassionate.

I just got my sugar glider neutered here and I seriously can not praise Parrish Creek enough!!!!!! They were so helpful! They made a little binder with a picture of him on the front, explaining the anasthesia, and the meds and everything, they gave me information on all the emergency vets here, and went above and beyond! They explained everything, and we're seriously so kind and genuinely cared about my glider, and had very reasonable prices! The staff was so nice, and stayed after because we ran into traffic and were a little late to pick him up, and then they answered all of our questions and concerns with care, and didn't act like they were in a rush or we were being inconvenient (even though we were)! Just thought I would give them a good review for my amazing experience!

Parrish Creek Veterinarians & their supporting staff have been absolutely WONDERFUL. I have three blue and gold macaws. They have the knowledge and experience to treat them, and they do it with kindness and concern. I have also watched many happy customers enter and exit this clinic with every kind of pet you could imagine, from parrots to iguanas to Peruvian pot belly pigs.
My four parrots are happy and healthy all thanks to the Parrish Creek Veterinary Clinic

My husband an myself started going to Dr. Foland for our 1st bird we purchased back 7 years ago. He has always done a fabulous job and the staff have always been very courteous. We now have a non -profit Exotic Parrot Rescue and we wouldn't go anywhere else. We currently took in two in the same week, which makes 32 and counting. He is more expensive than most but he is great at what he does, so you get what you pay for. Birds take tons of work and can be very expensive, but I wouldn't trade what we do for anything. I would highly recommend Parrish for your vet needs. Especially birds.

If I could rate them 0 stars I would. The actual veterinarian seems like a nice enough guy and pretty competent. I go in there my dog ends up dying. The staff is beyond rude. I leave with my dog to bury her. I tell the staff that my wife will be taking care of the bill in a few minutes. They don't give me time to even get home before they start calling and leaving nasty messages on my wife's phone. They ended up leaving two or three nasty messages before my wife could call them back within an hour and settle up the five hundred and five dollar bill for pumping an iv into my dog and then sit there and watch as she dies. In the end I don't really care about paying the bill and I had no problem paying it. What I do have a problem with is the completely unprofessional staff. Avoid this clinic at all costs. some of the most horrible, rude and ignorant staff I have ever dealt with.

I brought my rat, Harvard, in because he'd been bitten by a fellow rat. Dr. Love did a great job taking care of him. The wound wasn't severe and she didn't try to do more than needed to be done. It was great to have him cared for by someone who recognized the great pet rats are, as they sometimes get a bad rap. And, of course, she was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what she was doing. She gave me good advise about how to reintroduce Harvard back to his buddies with (hopefully) no more incidents.

Everyone there was very nice and my questions were answered and my bird taken care of but the "fix" they used came off less than a week after it was put on. When I went back to have it put back on they charged me more than twice what they'd charged me one week before. Basically what I got out of that is that they don't back up their work. They are SUPER expensive. $44 for about 15 minutes of their time to check on a procedure I'd already paid $300 on. Again, very nice people. I really liked Dr. Echols. Just ridiculous prices for work they won't back up.

This vets office is the best!! Dr. Folland specializes in birds but we take both of our dogs here, one of which is a guide dog for the blind. Compared to other clinics they are very affordable and take good care of your animals and don't overcharge for medications. We've been to three other vets in the area and this is the best one we have found.

DO NOT TAKE ANY OF YOUR SWEET PETS HERE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. To say it bluntly, they killed our baby 5 month old bunny yesterday. We brought in our two baby bunnies to be spayed in the morning and within a couple hours received a very cold insensitive call that our baby Churro had died. She started by saying she had bad news about Churro, talked for 3 minutes about the surgery and how she “realized after awhile that Churro wasn’t breathing” … not right away, but AWHILE… which tells me they weren’t even monitoring her, they just left her in a room to die. Then ended with “Churro is dead”… there was no empathy and no apologies just cold “your pets dead” in a tone that felt as if she thought it wouldn’t matter since it’s a bunny. She also tried to tell me that Churro was “really old, and that’s probably why she died”. When I replied with “she’s 5 months old, We got her in April this year as a tiny baby bunny from the same litter the other bunny is from”… she argued with me TWICE more telling me that Churro was old. When I started asking questions, she immediately told me to hold and left me on hold for TWELVE MINUTES. The next person I spoke to couldn’t tell me whether or not I had to PAY the $500+ for the surgery they did that resulted in Churros death. Then she put me on hold. Then the dr got on the phone and started telling me the story from the beginning… she told me that they shaved Churros mats before the surgery and that she seemed “extremely stressed” before they put her under. I told her to stop right there, because I had advised the technician that took her into the vet to not shave Churro unless there was time while she was under… and I could schedule another time if not. So they went against my direct instructions on this, stressed her out completely, then did a major surgery. Her response to this is that “well crystal is new and doesn’t know how the surgery works and you can’t put a bunny under that long to shave them. Also because of Covid, many have left our clinic so we are short staffed”…. She basically told me the person that took our baby Churro into the clinic, not only didn’t know how the surgery worked, but didn’t know how to answer my questions or relay information correctly. If that’s how you describe your employees they should not be dealing with the pet owners at all, and especially not alone. At this point STILL no one has told me if we have to pay for Churros surgery and I’m on hold. I finally hung up after sitting on hold forever and the Director called me back. He was the FIRST interaction so far that started with “I’m sorry for your loss”….. when speaking with him he asked “so you know that shaving has stressed Churro out in the past?”… abs I replied with “YES, BECAUSE YOUR CLINIC IS THE ONE THAT GROOMED HER PREVIOUS AND COULD NOT FINISH BECAUSE SHE WAS AO STRESSED” unreal that he didn’t even know they had treated Churro previously. he told me everything I experienced so far with their clinic was unacceptable and seemed to actually care that I had to break my daughters poor heart telling her that her baby bunny had been killed. We drove there to pick up our other bunny as well as Churro. My husband had to go back and forth with them on whether we were paying or not for over 30 minutes. The Director came out as well as two others and it felt like ganging up on us to me. I stayed in the car because I had been crying all day with my daughter and was way too mad to interact. After we left I spoke to multiple places in SLC that spay and neuter and they all couldn’t remember the last time they had lost a bunny to that surgery and told me “they must’ve not known what they were doing somehow because that shouldn’t happen”. One specifically, spays about 3 bunnies a day and couldn’t believe my story. All in all, what it comes down to is they killed our baby bunny and the fact that we even had to ask and discuss payment was disgusting. We wanted to pay full price for two surgeries, not get half off and come home with one dead. We now no longer have our sweet Churro and can never hold her again.

Parrish Creek fit me in between appointments, helped me the DAY that I called, were fair and consistent with their prices, and very kind hearted. Everyone at Parrish Creek was wonderful. I felt that they really took the time to listen to all of my concerns and to answer all my questions. They mapped out different recommendations for my dog but I didn't feel pressured to commit to anything I wasn't ready for. I will definitely be bringing my dogs here again.

The staff was very caring and took the time to not only listen to our concerns but answer all of our questions. We did not feel rushed or pressured into treatment we could not afford like many other vets we have been to. And they see exotic animals too which is hard to find in this area. We definitely recommend them and will using them for all our veterinarian needs!!

Took my dog here as he was having trouble with his knees. They were very calm and gentile with him. Staff is so nice and helpful. They took x-rays right then and there. They showed us and educated us about what was seen in the x-rays. Not only are they experts in Dogs and Cats, but other exotic animals and reptiles as well. They do make you pay for services at the time of service, which is common practice at all Vet Clinics.
They are my new go to Vet clinic in Davis County. We love you guys.

Oh my goodness, love them! They are so bound, went out of their way to answer a million and a half of my questions! Tom good care of my parrot, and even gave me a binder with her picture on, he profile, care /husbandry Guide, and sub categories! And samples! My relationship with my parrot is relatively new, this was my first trip to a vet's office. The doctor was wonderful too! He was kind to my girl, and very familiar with her rare species in the US! He didn't wear gloves or long sleeves Both of which she is terrified of. Highly highly recommended!

Unfortunately, we never did get to work with the actual vet at Parrish Creek. When we took our 5 month old puppy for his shots, the staff acted like he was poorly behaved and obnoxious. He was new to the vet and excited/nervous. When I asked for a quote to have him microchipped and fixed, they gave me a printout of the costs (which I appreciated). The low cost was $350 and the high was $440! After seeing these numbers we ended up driving our boy 3 hours back to our vet in Idaho.. where the total cost of neutering him and getting him microchipped was $175. The staff in Idaho treat him like a million bucks every time and are more worried about the pet than the money. I'm sure Parrish Creek is fabulous, we just didn't have a very good experience. It's worth the 3 hour drive to Idaho for our puppy's healthcare.

I am very unhappy with the service I got at this clinic. We called ahead of time and told them exactly what was happening with our bird and was told it would be $80, when we got to the clinic it had increased to $200 which we paid before they would see the bird, when we went back to pick up the bird they extorted another $250 out of us before they would let us take the bird home. It's a $400 bird and they charged us $450 to confirm that it had bruising and nothing else wrong. They should have called to approve additional services beyond the $200 agreed to up front.

I started going to Parrish Creek for my "exotic" pets and always have had a wonderful experience. All the vets are knowledgeable and great to work with. I recently adopted a cat and found out here had some pretty bad dental issues. We had our first visit on a Friday and by Wednesday they had him fixed up. Eating has been much easier for him and I am so grateful for the staff here!

Such an incredible place. Our Scarlet Macaw was having chronic issues that could not be solved by other vets....until we came here! They diagnosed her and did all the tests she needed within a very timely manner and you can tell they did it with care. She was considered an "aggressive" bird prior to her visit, her demeanor has completely changed and she appears to be a happy bird again! Thanks to the veterinarians and staff at Parrish Creek! We will be bringing all of our birds here in the future! Thank you so much for everything that you do here!

MY previous vet referred me to Dr Folland because he couldn't handle my birds issue. I was very surprised when Dr Folland and his staff stayed al almost an hour and a half past closing time with me and my bird. He went over everything about her with me . You can tell that him and his staff really cares about the animals. I'm very selective and cautious on who I let near my birds they are like my children. I will be staying with Dr folland as their regular vet.

They don't try to sell me stuff I don't need and they're always professional and follow up to see how my animals are doing.I am grateful to have a veterinary clinic of this quality close by!

I chose this vet after my daughter went on a school field trip there. When i took my dog- Each time I went in, the staff was very indifferent and even rude. I really don't know why. I paid my bill and didn't bother them with questions. When my dog was sick and I was worried about her, I asked every hour for the three hours she was there for an update. The receptionist was very put out and distraught at having to tell me anything. She was short and not compassionate.

I just got my sugar glider neutered here and I seriously can not praise Parrish Creek enough!!!!!! They were so helpful! They made a little binder with a picture of him on the front, explaining the anasthesia, and the meds and everything, they gave me information on all the emergency vets here, and went above and beyond! They explained everything, and we're seriously so kind and genuinely cared about my glider, and had very reasonable prices! The staff was so nice, and stayed after because we ran into traffic and were a little late to pick him up, and then they answered all of our questions and concerns with care, and didn't act like they were in a rush or we were being inconvenient (even though we were)! Just thought I would give them a good review for my amazing experience!

Parrish Creek Veterinarians & their supporting staff have been absolutely WONDERFUL. I have three blue and gold macaws. They have the knowledge and experience to treat them, and they do it with kindness and concern. I have also watched many happy customers enter and exit this clinic with every kind of pet you could imagine, from parrots to iguanas to Peruvian pot belly pigs.
My four parrots are happy and healthy all thanks to the Parrish Creek Veterinary Clinic

My husband an myself started going to Dr. Foland for our 1st bird we purchased back 7 years ago. He has always done a fabulous job and the staff have always been very courteous. We now have a non -profit Exotic Parrot Rescue and we wouldn't go anywhere else. We currently took in two in the same week, which makes 32 and counting. He is more expensive than most but he is great at what he does, so you get what you pay for. Birds take tons of work and can be very expensive, but I wouldn't trade what we do for anything. I would highly recommend Parrish for your vet needs. Especially birds.

If I could rate them 0 stars I would. The actual veterinarian seems like a nice enough guy and pretty competent. I go in there my dog ends up dying. The staff is beyond rude. I leave with my dog to bury her. I tell the staff that my wife will be taking care of the bill in a few minutes. They don't give me time to even get home before they start calling and leaving nasty messages on my wife's phone. They ended up leaving two or three nasty messages before my wife could call them back within an hour and settle up the five hundred and five dollar bill for pumping an iv into my dog and then sit there and watch as she dies. In the end I don't really care about paying the bill and I had no problem paying it. What I do have a problem with is the completely unprofessional staff. Avoid this clinic at all costs. some of the most horrible, rude and ignorant staff I have ever dealt with.

I brought my rat, Harvard, in because he'd been bitten by a fellow rat. Dr. Love did a great job taking care of him. The wound wasn't severe and she didn't try to do more than needed to be done. It was great to have him cared for by someone who recognized the great pet rats are, as they sometimes get a bad rap. And, of course, she was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what she was doing. She gave me good advise about how to reintroduce Harvard back to his buddies with (hopefully) no more incidents.

Everyone there was very nice and my questions were answered and my bird taken care of but the "fix" they used came off less than a week after it was put on. When I went back to have it put back on they charged me more than twice what they'd charged me one week before. Basically what I got out of that is that they don't back up their work. They are SUPER expensive. $44 for about 15 minutes of their time to check on a procedure I'd already paid $300 on. Again, very nice people. I really liked Dr. Echols. Just ridiculous prices for work they won't back up.

This vets office is the best!! Dr. Folland specializes in birds but we take both of our dogs here, one of which is a guide dog for the blind. Compared to other clinics they are very affordable and take good care of your animals and don't overcharge for medications. We've been to three other vets in the area and this is the best one we have found.
