This morning I brought my dog in to get her vaccines. This place gets busy on Saturdays, (the team has the best intentions but it is incredibly chaotic) So we decided to arrive early. We got there about 8:50 and noticed that there were people in the lobby and the sign was turned to open, so we went in. There were two others already being helped, so I sat and waited my turn. A gentleman came in the door with his dog and walked up to the counter and the owner, Terry, came out and helped him right away. I am thinking, well I guess I need to get in line. So I went up to the counter to wait. Terry came out and was muttering something about the vet wasn’t there yet and they weren’t open for another 7 minutes. Another gentleman walked in with his dog, while I am still at the counter, and Terry once again proceeds to help him, ignoring me. After Terry was finished with the second gentleman, he starts looking around and I say, “I haven’t been helped.” Terry replies, “We aren’t open for 3 minutes.” Up until now I thought maybe I was doing something wrong, but this man saw me, saw my dog and just overlooked us. Maybe something was going on that I didn’t know about but to correct that problem? Use your words! The first step to great customer service isn’t just communication with guest or patients it’s a sincere rapport. Terry, work on yours! Now the previous two gentlemen were getting vaccines, just like I was. One of the gentlemen that was at the counter even said to me, “Didn’t I come in after you?” I said,” Yes, but I am trying to be patient and wait my turn.” I finally had enough and turned around and walked out. Explain to me why if the doors are unlocked, you are helping people, and taking money, you aren’t open for business until 3 more minutes for me! I know that your business hours on Saturday are 9-12. I also know that just because you offer discounted services does not mean that you can treat people poorly or discriminate against them. Helping people in NO way gives you a right to mistreat people at all. I did not know that this gentleman was the owner until I started looking online. So yeah, I am calling him out by name. Sorry Terry, not sorry. I guess my business is not important to you, Terry! I am sure that losing my business will not affect you much, but I am hoping that all the people I tell about this and all the people that they tell about this will affect you. Cause I am going to post this as many places as I can. Terry may your business take a nose dive into the dirt. Read Less
