I bring all my cats here. The staff is super nice and Dr Pope is the best. Our cats that don't like to be held... well, they don't mind her holding them! We wont go anywhere else.

I am new to the area and found American Paws randomly on the internet and thought I would give the office a shot. On my first visit I was surprised and delighted at the friendliness of Dr. Pope and the staff. I can really tell that they love animals and are truly passionate about what they do. I brought my three month old kitten in for his shots and on the second round he immediately had a severe allergic reaction. Dr. Pope reacted quickly and saved his life. Apparently this is an extremely rare occurence, and this is the first cat she has ever had have this reaction. Despite this, she knew exactly what to do and did it quickly.I truly believe that if I went to any other vet he would have died. Thanks to Dr. Pope and her great staff, my kitty is still alive and thriving. Even though it is a farther drive for me, I am definitely going to American Paws from now on. Read Less

Dr Jolie has always been so great with my dog and cat. I even drive out of my way to go see her instead of a vet that is closer. I love going there!

Dr. Pope and her staff are amazing! You won't find another vet like her. They show that they really care about your pet and you aren't just another customer or ""number"" waiting in their office. They usually remember my dogs names when I come---that's how personalized the care is there! I used to go to Cottonwood Animal Hostpial and Willowcreek but started to feel like just another number and that my pet was not important (I will still go to Cottonwood if American Paws is closed or something, so they are pretty good) and like they just wanted my money. Plus, if I just had a question (like when one of my dogs ate chocolate and I didn't know if I should bring her in or not) I wasn't ever able to talk to anyone right away nor did it seem like they cared. But, when I call Dr. Pope's office she or one of the Vet Tech's will personally address my questions and concerns and they won't tell you to bring your pet in unless you really need to (IE: they don't just want your money, they do what they do because they love animals). She has called me from her home personally at times. They also follow up a week later with a phone call to make sure your pet is okay. They REALLY CARE about animals. Their office is in a small home and it truly makes you feel comfortable. They charge you for what is needed but don't rip you off. Being completely honest, sometimes their fees are maybe $5-10 more than other places, but It is worth it to know that your animal is getting the best care. You can trust them because they aren't out to get your money. Their staff is very knowledgable and helpful. They will give advice about recalls on pet products. They let your pet choose a toy before you leave so it's always a positive experience for your pet. I highly recommend their office and you will love it! Read Less

Dr. Pope is wonderful. She and her staff truly care about these animals. We adopted a dog from a shelter and found out a few days later that she had Parvo and two other serious illnesses. We couldn't afford to take our dog to an animal hospital as it would cost thousands of dollars. Dr. Pope offered to let us bring our dog to her twice a day so she could put IVs in her to hydrate her. She only charged us the cost of medicine-nothing else. Miraculously our dog survived and it was all thanks to her and her great staff! Read Less

Dr. Pope saved my dog's life. We had just adopted our dog from a rescue and found out she had parvo, a deadly illness, and two other serious illnesses. The normal treatment for parvo is to leave your dog at an animal hospital 24hrs a day for a week or more for continuous treatment. We couldn't afford to do that. Dr. Pope offered to have us come by the office twice a day everyday so she could run IV fluids through our dog and give her medication. She didn't charge us for the fluids, only the meds. Within a few days our dog was completely better. Without the care and dedication of Dr. Pope and her staff I'm sure our dog wouldn't have made it. We are now regular customers and have always been satisfied with care and price. The office is set up as a home environment. The staff are very friendly. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Read Less

Dr. Jolie Pope is the best vet we've ever had. She has a resume to match her good service. You can tell she is all about the animals and not herself. The environment of her office matches that of a well-to-do out-in-the-country veterinarian. Our daughter was considering Vet school and ""shadowed"" Dr. Pope for a day and was even more impressed with her professionalism and skill. When we had to put our old sick dog down, she was compassionate beyond measure. We love American Paws!!! Read Less
