No doubt they have great customer service. But their pricing structure is ridiculous. I asked while my puppy was under if they can remove a small claw left from birth. They said they would take care of it free of charge. When I picked him up I had fees over $130 for the claw. I had taken or spoken to three others in the area and my senior dog is well cared for by the staff at Draper Animal Hospital.  I trust them with my fur babies.  They're thorough and get it right the first time rather than experimenting on them like some do and they take the right amount of time to assess the needs of your pet.  I also appreciate their responsiveness when leaving a voicemail or emailing and the follow through on requests.  My vet search has ended and happy to have found them. The staff at Draper Animal Hospital is extremely friendly and make the whole experience an excellent and memorable one. I've received a followup phone call after every appointment, sometimes even on the weekend when the clinic is closed. After our first visit for a wellness checkup on a brand new puppy, I received a welcome card in the mail with welcome messages from the clinic staff. Every appointment is very personalized when you check in, with the staff greeting your pet by name. Our first wellness checkup with Dr. Chapman was excellent, and he took all the time necessary to explain in great detail everything I'd need to be a successful first-time puppy owner. It wasn't rushed, and he does a great job at investing time and energy in a positive, long-term relationship with his patients and their owners. I'm a first-time dog owner, so the price of the wellness exam seemed a little steep, but in my opinion it's worth every penny to have an experience where my dog doesn't fear going to the vet, and where the vet is very personable and is happy to answer every last lingering question you may have. I finally found a veterinarian for Danni that I love. Draper Animal Hospital! Danni jumped off the high part of our couch a little over a year ago. When he did it seemed like he hurt his shoulder because he would hold up his right front leg and wouldn't pick his neck up. We were going to Banfield Pet Hospital (don't recommend) and after doing X-rays and not seeing anything, they put him on pain Meds and muscle relaxers for almost 2 months! The issue has never fully gone away. Sometimes he will scratch on the door and start yiping, he walks with his head down a lot, it has been so sad to not know what to do. I thought maybe he would be like this forever... until yesterday. I have hope now! Dr Chapman at Draper Animal Hospital is a pet chiropractic and after I explained all of this to him, he examined Danni and found his cervical spine was out at his neck. He did a complete adjustment on him from neck to tail. Danni was super brave. We came home and he was a new dog! Holding his head up higher than I've seen in a year and he seemed happier. I never knew Pets could get chiropractic but I'm so happy I found this vet! It may take a couple more adjustments before it's a permanent fix but I have hope now that my lil guy won't be in pain anymore. The hardest part for me is realizing he's been having neck pain and probably headaches for over a year and I had no idea what to do. Can you imagine having a cricked neck for a year! Dr. Chapman.. Where do I begin?! Since day one of meeting him he had blown us away with how personable and patient he was with all of our many questions concerning our little pups. He takes the time to get to know you and make your animals comfortable with him. We always knew Dr. Chapman was the best hence why we drive such a far distance just to see him, we have tried other vets and literally NOBODY comes close to Dr. Chapman! From the excellent ladies upfront, to the technicians every person in this office makes you want to come back for more! I used to work here when Dr. Moore owned it.I have a hard time trusting my dog with anyone other than Dr. Moore, so I have been shopping around for a place to get my girl spayed. The prices used to be quite reasonable... They have gone up. Although receptionist was very friendly, I was told I cannot get an estimate for a spay without paying $47 for him to "tailor the estimate to my pet's needs." I mentioned that I used to work there. I originally called for her records, but figured I would ask to see if I would like to take her there again. I see absolutely no reason to pay for an office visit at a hospital that she already has records at. I am very knowledgeable of what she needs and what I want done. I have never, ever, been denied an estimate without paying $50 for an office visit. I know I want blood work done, an IV, and a microchip. If they have the same software they used to it's extremely simple to do. I see this as a ploy to bring people in, and extremely unfair. I am scheduling her spay today and have called at least 8 other animal hospitals and was immediately given an estimate based on what I wanted. I respect Dr. Moore more than any other professional I've worked with. He was so amazing with my pets and extremely generous with my girl and previous pets, as well as kind to me. He deserved to retire, but I am sad to see what has happened. I'm sure Dr. Chapman is a decent vet, I don't believe Dr. Moore would sell his practice to someone who isn't, but this is pure greed and extremely unattractive as a potential client. I would have loved to have her spayed at my former employer's hospital, but I will not pay $50 for this man to examine my healthy pet and give me an estimate. Extremely bad business idea, I haven't worked in another hospital since, so this is from a consumers' point of view, also.I would advise Dr. Chapman to reconsider this. If he does, I may end up liking the place and changing my stance. For now, I'm leaving an honest review. This used to be a wonderful place. We had such great, loyal clients and a wonderful Doctor. I miss my old boss and his wife. I can't judge the doctor myself, as I haven't been in since ownership has changed, but I can tell you that it's a rip off to pay that for a freaking estimate. Aug. 27, 2015 This review was emailed to Draper Animal Hospital: Dianne M. - When Miss Mia's veterinarian retired and left the state, I was lost. ...Yes, I am fussy when it comes to how my Mia is going to be handled, cleanliness of the exam rooms and other areas that most people don't even think about questioning, such as treatment areas and the surgical rooms. In other words, I was not only stuck, but beginning to wonder how I was going to get her medication including her vaccinations and heartworm medication and, of course, a reliable veterinarian. I knew that the old Draper Animal Hospital had been sold and, with spending a lot of time in researching, I found Dr. Chapman and his staff. I took a chance and made an appointment for the minor procedure of a nail trim. That way, I could find out what I really wanted to know...who was going to take Miss Mia? What a great surprise - a clean clinic, a great and friendly staff that was gentle and kind to the animals that were in there, and they wanted me to take a tour of the facility. That is what surprised me the most... It was great to be invited to look around and see how up-to-date everything was. When I met Dr. Chapman he welcomed me to Draper Animal Hospital and answered all my questions without any hesitation. He wanted me to know ...that Miss Mia and myself were welcomed back at any time. Within a few weeks, Mia was due for her yearly physical, and I did not hesitate and had no problem getting an appointment. Once again, I was treated with friendly service, but most of all, my Mia was treated like she was going to get the best of care. Everything was explained: a great way to get...medication to my home from their website was set up while I was there. Customer service has disappeared in the majority of places, but not at Draper Animal Hospital. I could not have been more pleased with the overall service from Dr. Chapman and everyone of his staff, (they) are at the very top of taking care of anyone's pets who enter the building. Dr Chapman is the most amazing veterinarian...his "bedside manor" is far better than doctors for us humans. I have a Jack Russell- she tore her ACL, I interviewed a few different places, and, Dr Chapman made the most sense to me. He preformed her surgery, and the after care, it was just how I would have expected for myself. He is wonderful with animals and awesome with their parents. Very loving and compassionate with all involved- We are now going through treatments for cirrhosis of the liver, she's on a daily dose of steroids and is on a low protein prescription diet dog food. I also appreciate his staff, they are all so nice and personable- they love their jobs and their employer! I would 100% without a doubt trust Dr Chapman with my little girl and her health! I have 1 special needs dog. Another that is truly scared of people and hates men outside of our home. The atmosphere and positive energy flowing through the air is absolutely amazing. If I hadent seen it with my own eyes I would never of believed it. Not one but both of my dogs let Dr. Chapman treat them not only with office visits, but with chiropractic adjustments. This place is great! Dr. Moore is a very caring and kind veterinarian. We took our little Mojo in with a severe eye injury. Rather than the $3,500 surgery recommended by the eye specialists, Dr. Moore gave us the option of trying some "old school" techniques that saved us LOTS of $$$.Neither option guaranteed the Mojee Man would get to keep his eye. Thanks to the diligence and tender loving care shown by the Drs. and staff at Draper Animal Hospital, our puppy still has two bright, bulgy, eyes!We are so pleased with the service and professionalism of this place. I am amazed at the work Dr. Moore did with the surgery of my dog. He had a tumor growing over his eye, but had not bothered him much. I had had it checked and it was not cancer earlier that year. It was beginning to be harder for him to see out of that eye, but it did not slow him down. I had been out of work ,and was hoping to get him in for surgery when I got back to work. However, he scratched it causing a LOT of bleeding. I called my vet who could not get him into surgery for at least two days or more. I then called Dr. Moore and he saw him right away, and did the surgery the same day. He was afraid he would lose his eye, because the tumor had gone into his eyelid. The surgery took more hours than Dr. Moore had thought, and as I understand was very tegious. Today Sir Raffles is beautiful and has no real scaring and has a great life, because of Dr. Moore. I just moved to Utah a few months before my visit to Draper Animal Hospital with my 14 year old Golden, who had cancer (with huge tumors) and cardiomyopathy/heart failure. She had been chronically ill for a long time and was being managed very well by our old vet prior to moving. I went to Draper Animal for a refill on her prescriptions and to get some pain meds for her because it was getting obvious she was getting uncomfortable and heading down that path quickly, so my main goal was to keep her comfortable. The vet pushed changing very expensive tests and wanted to change her meds, which I declined since she had been managed very well over the last couple years on the meds she was already on and I feared changing anything would cost her dearly. I explained that my goal was to keep her comfortable and there was nothing different we could do with the results of any expensive tests, but I left feeling like a horrible mom because I didn't want to put her through those tests to ""help"" her any way I could. She was 14!! I took her to a different vet who gave me pain meds which came in very handy to keep her comfortable as she died a couple months later. I felt this place was much more expensive than our previous vet and was pushing for expensive treatments that were unnecessary and made me feel horrible for not wanting to do them.
