We love the care that Dr. Hansen gives to our fur kids. Our big dog has been terrified of the vet since he was a puppy and we have usually had to put a muzzle on him when at the vet. Last time we were there he actually lucked Dr. Hansen D's hand and tried to kick kic face. Great staff, clean offices, and they have all been amazing caring for our dogs and working with us when we are unable to get the dogs in easily due to the remote area we live in. Dr. Hansen and Dr. Isom are top notch vets and have such a great staff at the clinic. I recently took my dog here after a dog attack and they took such great care of him in his time of need. I booked an appointment online and it was really easy. The dog fight happened the night before and my dog had a huge cut oh the inside of his mouth that was very deep. I called the emergency vet office and they were looking to charge me over $1000 for the visit with surgery. I made the decision to hold off and get a second opinion. My vets office was all booked up and couldn’t get him in until the next day. I decided to drive a little further and went to the Wasatch Animal Clinic. The staff there is so very helpful and really nice. Dr. Hansen was very accommodating and got me in sooner then my scheduled appointment. It really does show that he cares for animals of all kinds. The pricing was so much more reasonable then my original vets office. I am so appreciative for them taking care of my fur child and fixing him up. If you are looking for a honest and trustworthy vets office I would highly recommend the clinic. I have to give a huge thanks to Wasatch animal clinic! We were in from LA a few weeks after or dog had surgery. We weren't able to get the sutures removed before going on vacation so we had to get it done here. Thank goodness we found these guys! They were staff and doctors were kind, caring, and fit our injured cat into their schedule. Five stars for that. They were really compassionate. However, they misdiagnosed him, thinking he didn't have a life threatening injury, but rather quality of life injuries (partial paralysis). He died about an hour after we brought him home, without pain killers. My children witnessed it, and it was awful. Then the Pet Reflections service they use is terrible (it's a separate company). I don't recommend them at all. The ceramic paw print we purchased for $60 is totally crooked and doesn't look like our cat's paw print. Read Less

Dr. Isom is the most gentle and caring vet I've ever met. There is no underestimating the grace and gravity of his duty; I've never felt that he was dealing with me or my beloveds in any sort of casual way, while at the same time offering calm and realistic council. Our dog was being a great protector and risked her life against a porcupine (poor decision making on her part). She had a ton of quills in her mouth, nose and face. We tried another place in town and they wanted us to wait 4 hours and charge us far more than we thought it should be to remove these quills. We called Wasatch Animal Clinic and they took our dog right in, charged less than half of the quote from the other place, clipped our dogs nails (complimentary), and they were closing before we realized so they brought our dog to our house. We love Dr. Isom at the Wasatch Animal Hospital! He takes wonderful care of our dogs and cat. We live in Salt Lake City and for any issues, surgeries, and vaccinations we drive up to Heber. We would want no one else working on our pets. He is gentle and our dogs and cat instantly respond to him and trust him. He takes his time and is thoughtful in his examinations and diagnosis. I drove all the way from Salt Lake City to have Dr. Isom take a look at my dog.  He was very thorough. Even got down on the floor with him.  He explained things easily so I could understand and got me some samples for us to try out. The rest of the staff were also very nice. Other vets that we have been to seem to not really care, and want to run expensive test that are unnecessary. Wasatch Animal Hospital seems to be the exception. I would not go anywhere else to have little furry family members tended too.Dr. Isom is so great and so understanding how we who have pets love them as true family members.  A few years back when our family rat was very sick, and started to have convesultions, my husband I knew Socks was going to pass away shortly but we didn't know how long that would take...he was in pain and we could tell suffering as he convusled and twitched...we put him gently in a little wash cloth, drove him over to the office after we called Dr. Isom on this Sunday and told him what was going on.  He met us at the office and, took one look at Socks, and we knew what had to be done...Dr. gently took Socks, covered in the little yellow wash cloth, into the back room and about 10 minutes later came back and gently gave us back the little yellow wash cloth now covering a  very peaceful rat ready to be buried.  I know all this sounds to dramatic, but he was our beloved rat for 5 years and we were so touched by Dr's gentleness and understanding and most of all coming on a Sunday .  He didn't make us feel dumb or wierd.ever since then, we have taken our dogs for check-ups, nail clipping and a few emergancies and close calls....and every time the dogs and us got super and compassionalte treat ment for both doctors and staff.  The staff?  yes,  I have been to many vet hospitals and usualy the staff ack like they are working in just an office or retail or something..not really understanding and caring for the humans!Thanks Wasatch Animal Hospital.  We wouldn't know what to do with out you.p.s.  We even got a condolance letter from them when our little Bishon passed away from a stroke.  The card was beautiful with  watercolor picture of a cat and dog looking at a sunset.  (sniff)Wonderful.God bless Read Less

This is the reason I go to Heber.  Well, I like Heber a lot, but before I met my vet, not as often as I go now.  I found my vet by chance, but now go to my vet because Dr. Wade Isom and Dr. Cathy Morton are kind, compassionate and caring animal lovers.  They have taken care of my fur faced Sebastian for some time now.   He's had some nasty stuff happen to him and they have been supportive and done everything they can to help my little guy get better.   These people are wonderful, and will do their best for you.   Thank you, wonderful people, for caring about my little fuzzy friend.
