Dr. Harper grew up in Corinne, UT near Brigham City. While growing up he milked cows, raised calves, exhibited market hogs in 4-H and participated in livestock judging. After returning from his LDS mission, he did his pre-vet at Utah State University from 2002-2005. It was there that he met his wonderful wife, Amy. He completed his veterinary training at Washington State in 2009. During his 6 years of practice, he has practiced at mixed animal practices both in Washington and Northern Utah. In June of 2014, Dr. Josh completed his certification in Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy - VSMT - (also called veterinary chiropractic) at Healing Oasis (one of the top training programs for veterinarians) in Sturtevant, WI. While at Healing Oasis, he so impressed the faculty that he was offered a position (by invitation only) to take the instructor course in VSMT. He is also certified in Veterinary Acupuncture at the Chi Institute in Florida. His clinical interests include (but are not limited to) functional neurology, structural realignment, epigenetics, nutrigenomics and equine balanced dentistry. Dr. Kim has been invaluable at helping me with both my dogs and horse. She was able to diagnose a shoulder muscle tear in my young dog that a western vet missed and give guidance on how to rehabilitate him for the best outcome. My other dog, an older hound, has some back troubles that Kim has been able to periodically adjust and make her more comfortable. The same dog also recently suffered a painful neck injury while under anesthesia getting her teeth cleaned, which Kim ea...sily found and was able to correct. Finally, my mare was diagnosed by a western vet at 15 years old with arthritis in her foot. I spent 5 years having lots of trouble with her being painful and somewhat dangerous under saddle before finally having Kim out 2 years ago. Kim said the troubles were in her neck and not her leg and was able to make her rideable immediately. I have Kim out 1-2 times a year for chiropractic and acupuncture treatments and last time she treated both the horse and dog on the farm call. I am SO grateful to have her as a vet! We are so extremely grateful for all of Dr. Debbie Hadlock's amazing support and guidance. Our dog needed knee surgery, we were very lucky to be referred to Dr. Debbie and we were able to see her right away. I had never met such a kind, caring, compassionate veterinarian until we met Dr. Debbie. She is a very special person who truly cares about all of her patients and their owners. I have learned so much from Dr. Debbie, she quickly handled our knee surgery situation and came up with a plan, addressed diet and addressed behavioral issues. All of this has helped tremendously as we prepared for surgery and during recovery. We are looking forward to many more years having Dr. Debbie take care of our fur baby. Thank you again Dr. Debbie, we look forward to seeing you soon!! Read Less
