We have two extremely dedicated and knowledgeable doctors at the heart of the practice and clinic family: Dr. Carl Prior and Dr. Eileen Hopper.

I visited this location while on vacation because my dog was coughing and hacking. I was really disappointed that I left this office with no more information than I came with. I had x-rays and blood work taken for my dog but I received no definitive direction and everything was a “maybe” “could be” “might try”. The lack information from the x-rays was frustrating and left me with nothing. I came home to my local vet and had to do all new x-rays and received much more information and treatment for my pet. I feel like I wasted money having x-rays done at this office because nothing came of it. I went in initially for a cough, yet was not provided a cough suppressant, only antibiotics, which were not making a difference, and a suggestion that I might try an overnight oxygen room. My local vet took new x-rays and went over them in detail with me, explaining the problems. Additionally, their cardiologist reviewed to confirm her findings. She ultimately provided the suppressant and additional medication for his Trachea irritation and a slight closure. At this Park City location, i was not provided with even 10% of this information nor did they go over the x-days to show me what could have been the issues. All in all, I was disappointed and feel that I wasted time and money on things that were of no use. While I appreciated the follow up texts, the overall visit was not helpful in any way.

We have been going to PCAC for 12 years with three different dogs and have received the most professional care. The entire staff works hard to make each visit special. We used to request Dr Prior exclusively because he is so good but over the years came to learn that all the vets are equally wonderful. It does not matter which vet you see, your dog is in good hands.

I can't say enough good things about all the doctors at PC Animal Clinic. They take the time to see each of our furry family members as unique and take special care to treat those with anxiety. We have received excellent care for our dog over the years, which include after hours attention. Our dog was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. Dr. Prior helped us work through our many questions we had about options. He showed great compassion during our last days with him.

I brought my dog in last minute to be seen for a urinary infection. The staff is excellent and the physician was EXCEPTIONAL!She was very thorough , personable, knowledgeable and professional. I love my dog more than anything and I trust this clinic to take care of him. I would definitely bring him back. It is a very comfortable environment and I honestly did not feel like I was in a veterinary clinic. I felt like I was in a home surrounded by family and friends. If I could give this clinic 10 stars I would..they completely deserve it. Every person that we encountered had compassion and empathy. It makes everything better when you feel like your little ones are a priority and not just a routine. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! They take animal care to another level. THANK YOU

Our first visit to Park City Animal Clinic. Staff was friendly and warm, and Dr. Prior was fantastic! His warmth and hands on demeanor was impressive, and he asked valid questions to get to know our dog better. It was a well-dog visit for vaccinations only, but he spent time discussing his behaviors and other health related issues. We are happy to have discovered this clinic for our dog, who is 14 and has not had a vet in Park City, as it has not previously been needed. Thanks to all the staff for their prompt scheduling of our appointment and the friendliness showed to us during our visit.

This was my first experience at PC animal clinic and I was really impressed. My dog had been pinched underneath a truck tire and I called around to get her in as an emergency visit in case there was any internal bleeding. One local place did not seem alarmed at all and told me to come in at 5 that day, and it was around 11 am. I called PC animal clinic and the receptionist immediately knew this was a timely matter and told me Dr Prior would stay for me to come in right then. I brought her in and they saw us immediately. Dr Prior was very reassuring and told us our options, but didn't pressure us to get xrays unless we wanted them. He even offered to take my dog to his home for observation to be extra safe. He gave us his cell phone number, and he checked in on how our dog was doing the next day. We could tell he really cared about the well being of our dog and he is not in it for the money. Thanks Dr Prior (Junie says thanks too!). Would highly recommend this clinic.

Dr. Hopper, Dr Prior and Diane were wonderful in treating my Golden Retriever with his recent colitis episode. They took the time to explain his condition, treat him (and love him) and Dr. Prior even personally monitored him overnight to ensure his condition didn't worsen. They called me frequently to update me on his status and followed up with me for days afterwards. This is a deeply knowledgeable team of Veterinarians that provide excellent treatment to both canine and owner. I highly recommend the care provided by Park City Animal clinic. The front office team is very knowledgeable and organized. They ensure that your pet is taken care of quickly and client needs are satisfied.

Over the past few weeks I have had many visits to the animal clinic because both of my Fur babies were critically ill and ended up passing. The doctors, staff, and kitty cats were all compassionate and loving while I was going through my hard time. They sent me in the right directions when they weren't able to provide something that my Fur babies needed. They were all supportive and caring doing this emotionally stressful time.

Great care by vets, techs, and staff who truly care! A team who will go above and beyond for you to make sure that your trip to the vet is smooth for both you and your pet no matter the reason for your visit. Dr. Prior is very intuitive and uses that along with his great deal of knowledge to make sure your pet is treated in the best way possible. Dr. Hopper is extremely detail oriented and will make sure nothing gets missed and will go above and beyond for you answering any questions you may have..She is also great with cats! Dr. Nazzaro will make sure that you leave with all of the information that you need! She is also highly trained with ultrasonography which can be a very important diagnostic tool in many cases. The front desk staff, and veterinary technicians are highly trained and all have big hearts.

We brought Emma in and were worried since she is 9 years old and never experienced anything like this. Dr. Prior and his staff calmed Emma, x-rayed to rule out blockage and then scoped and removed the particles that were causing the dog the problem. The staff and doctor were so attentive to Emma and us, clearly explaining what was going on, what our options were, and then, what we hoped to accomplish. The throwing up stopped and Dr. Prior offered to be on call overnight in case we needed him!! He also called us first thing in the morning to see how Emma was doing. This is unbelievable service and support, I wish we lived here full time for access to PC Animal Clinic. This is the best animal care we have ever experienced.

The front office staff and vet techs always seem to recognize and enthusiastically greet your pet by name and interact with them tenderly, the way they'd treat their own. Due to Dr. Prior's expertise, our 10 year old, formerly-abused foster-turned-adoped dog with heart and trachea issues, was able to live out the last 3 years of his life in comfort and care. He was there at the beginning, there at the end and there for the many, many times between (many, many, many times) and is the most compassionate, knowledgable & accessible vet I have ever met. Because of his care, we were able to enjoy 3 wonderful years with the sweetest of animals before his little heart finally gave out. When the time came, Dr. Prior calmly and gently helped Lamby make a dignified, pain-free transition. He came to our house and spent time asking how we felt about our decision, if we felt okay proceeding or if we wanted to wait..and then walked us through the pros/cons of each choice, never pushing us for a decision in either direction or making us feel rushed. He gave an exceptionally horrible, nasty, sad day a bit of reverence and calm.

I've seen both Dr. Hopper and Dr. Prior and they have both been fantastic. My most recent experience was with Dr. Prior and he has been so helpful. My dog had blood in her urine, they fit me in to their schedule right away (within 10 minutes of calling) and he and the staff all worked with her to help get her healthy again. He updated me frequently which made me feel much more comfortable and helped get my dog back to her normal healthy goofy self. Definitely recommend to any and all pet parents.

We were in Deer Valley for the weekend and our dog ate a pack of gum. Dr. Prior answered the phone at 11:00pm on a Friday night and was so calm and reassuring. He coached my wife and I through the entire process and made sure we were in good hands. We checked in with him about every 30 minutes until 1:00am. He did all of this out of the kindness of his heart and obviously because he has a love for animals. Our dog is doing amazing and we couldn't be more thankful for Dr. Prior!

Thank you Dr Prior for giving such excellent and loving care to my two "boys" Guiness and Porter over the past (almost) 11 years. Thank you for your compassion and willingness to stay and perform emergency surgery on Porter last Wednesday and then being nice enough to drop him off knowing I wouldn't be able to carry him into the house after surgery (even though he wanted to walk in any way). I also appreciate your follow up calls to check on his (their) status following a procedure. The support staff is also great. Thanks PC Animal Clinic, I can count on great care.

Dead serious people: BEST PET CLINIC I've ever been to! I'm currently sitting in the beautiful & super comfortable waiting room while Dr. Prior and his wonderful staff prepare my English Bulldog, Libby, for her c-section. They called in 2 additional staff members to be here this morning especially for this surgery and they all came out to greet Libby when we got here. Dr. Prior is the most caring, knowledgeable, and thorough Veterinarian I have used in my decades of pet ownership. He and his staff always take the time to get to the cause of the problem and explain the best options for helping my dogs heal and prevent the injury/illness from recurring in the future. His approach is thoughtful, advising "what I would do if it were MY dog", which always helps me make the best decisions I can for the well-being of my dogs. The warm setting of the lobby and examination rooms (with fireplaces and big leather sofas) also helps create a more stress-free experience for my pets. I love Park City Animal Clinic!

I HAVE told my best friend and everyone I know about how much I love Dr. Carl Pryor and his staff at Park City Animal Clinic. From the first day of going into the clinic in January 2012 to the day of this review, I cannot begin to adequately express how caring Dr. Pryor and his staff are. I have used this vet's personal cell phone number on a Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and reached him, I have always received follow up calls, there has never been a time that I feel I was used or overcharged and I left a vet in Las Vegas, Nevada that was rated the BEST vet in the city who cared for my five year old dachsund, Marshall for over three years, who never detected a heart murmur that Dr. Pryor found in his first exam. If you need a vet, if you need someone who understands that our pets, no matter how big or small, have a place in your heart and family, then Park City Animal Clinic is the place for your pet and you!!

My family loves our dogs like they are our children. We consider them to be an important part of our family and as such, we look for professionals that would give them the same standard of care that we would expect for our children. Dr. West has been our vet for 8 years (and four dogs) now and she is, without a doubt, one of the best vets around. She is compassionate and cares about the well-being of our dogs, both physical and emotional. What's more, she understands the emotional impact that a pet's illness or injury has on the family. Her knowledge, professionalism, and caring have helped us through some tough times, particularly as one of our beloved dogs fought and ultimately lost her battle with cancer. Park City is lucky to have a vet like Dr. West!!

I brought my dog in very concerned, she was shaking, throwing up and very weak. Dr. Angela West diagnosed her as having a possible sore back. Fortunately I got a second opinion with another vet. my dog was experiencing severe dehydration due to an Addisons Disease crisis. When I took my dog to another vet, she was immediately hospitalized for several days, I was told that if I would have just trusted Dr. Angela West's diagnosis, my 2 year old puppy could have died within days! NEED I SAY MORE? I left several messages to have Angela West call me. The impolite front office manager told me that Dr. Angela West would not return my calls. It is unclear if Dr. West was given my messages.

Dr. Prior and staff are amazing. They are unbelievably caring and understanding while offering the highest level of care. Dr. Prior is available for emergencies, unlike most vets. That is actually how we found him-our old vet of many years and thousands and thousands of dollars could not be bothered when we had an emergency, even though he was in the office-Dr. Prior came in after hours just to see our dog when we were not even his clients-he did the same for some friends-we now all have switched to his office. Dr. Prior was also able to correctly diagnose our puppy?s problem-over 10 visits to another vet and 3 or 4 to a specialist left us with ?it must be emotional problems? when in fact he had a VERY serious condition. I am thrilled with Dr. Prior's obvious deep concern for the animals-but also with his knowledge and skill. His staff is just as caring-I cannot recommend Dr. Prior enough. It is no wonder people drive up from Salt Lake for this very special vet!

I visited this location while on vacation because my dog was coughing and hacking. I was really disappointed that I left this office with no more information than I came with. I had x-rays and blood work taken for my dog but I received no definitive direction and everything was a “maybe” “could be” “might try”. The lack information from the x-rays was frustrating and left me with nothing. I came home to my local vet and had to do all new x-rays and received much more information and treatment for my pet. I feel like I wasted money having x-rays done at this office because nothing came of it. I went in initially for a cough, yet was not provided a cough suppressant, only antibiotics, which were not making a difference, and a suggestion that I might try an overnight oxygen room. My local vet took new x-rays and went over them in detail with me, explaining the problems. Additionally, their cardiologist reviewed to confirm her findings. She ultimately provided the suppressant and additional medication for his Trachea irritation and a slight closure. At this Park City location, i was not provided with even 10% of this information nor did they go over the x-days to show me what could have been the issues. All in all, I was disappointed and feel that I wasted time and money on things that were of no use. While I appreciated the follow up texts, the overall visit was not helpful in any way.

We have been going to PCAC for 12 years with three different dogs and have received the most professional care. The entire staff works hard to make each visit special. We used to request Dr Prior exclusively because he is so good but over the years came to learn that all the vets are equally wonderful. It does not matter which vet you see, your dog is in good hands.

I can't say enough good things about all the doctors at PC Animal Clinic. They take the time to see each of our furry family members as unique and take special care to treat those with anxiety. We have received excellent care for our dog over the years, which include after hours attention. Our dog was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. Dr. Prior helped us work through our many questions we had about options. He showed great compassion during our last days with him.

I brought my dog in last minute to be seen for a urinary infection. The staff is excellent and the physician was EXCEPTIONAL!She was very thorough , personable, knowledgeable and professional. I love my dog more than anything and I trust this clinic to take care of him. I would definitely bring him back. It is a very comfortable environment and I honestly did not feel like I was in a veterinary clinic. I felt like I was in a home surrounded by family and friends. If I could give this clinic 10 stars I would..they completely deserve it. Every person that we encountered had compassion and empathy. Our first visit to Park City Animal Clinic. Staff was friendly and warm, and Dr. Prior was fantastic! His warmth and hands on demeanor was impressive, and he asked valid questions to get to know our dog better. It was a well-dog visit for vaccinations only, but he spent time discussing his behaviors and other health related issues. We are happy to have discovered this clinic for our dog, who is 14 and has not had a vet in Park City, as it has not previously been needed. Thanks to all the staff for their prompt scheduling of our appointment and the friendliness showed to us during our visit.

This was my first experience at PC animal clinic and I was really impressed. My dog had been pinched underneath a truck tire and I called around to get her in as an emergency visit in case there was any internal bleeding. One local place did not seem alarmed at all and told me to come in at 5 that day, and it was around 11 am. I called PC animal clinic and the receptionist immediately knew this was a timely matter and told me Dr Prior would stay for me to come in right then. I brought her in and they saw us immediately. Dr Prior was very reassuring and told us our options, but didn't pressure us to get xrays unless we wanted them. He even offered to take my dog to his home for observation to be extra safe. He gave us his cell phone number, and he checked in on how our dog was doing the next day. We could tell he really cared about the well being of our dog and he is not in it for the money. Thanks Dr Prior (Junie says thanks too!). Would highly recommend this clinic.

They took the time to explain his condition, treat him (and love him) and Dr. Prior even personally monitored him overnight to ensure his condition didn't worsen. They called me frequently to update me on his status and followed up with me for days afterwards. This is a deeply knowledgeable team of Veterinarians that provide excellent treatment to both canine and owner. I highly recommend the care provided by Park City Animal clinic. The front office team is very knowledgeable and organized. They ensure that your pet is taken care of quickly and client needs are satisfied.

Over the past few weeks I have had many visits to the animal clinic because both of my Fur babies were critically ill and ended up passing. The doctors, staff, and kitty cats were all compassionate and loving while I was going through my hard time. A team who will go above and beyond for you to make sure that your trip to the vet is smooth for both you and your pet no matter the reason for your visit. Dr. Prior is very intuitive and uses that along with his great deal of knowledge to make sure your pet is treated in the best way possible. Dr. Hopper is extremely detail oriented and will make sure nothing gets missed and will go above and beyond for you answering any questions you may have..She is also great with cats! Dr. Nazzaro will make sure that you leave with all of the information that you need! She is also highly trained with ultrasonography which can be a very important diagnostic tool in many cases. The front desk staff, and veterinary technicians are highly trained and all have big hearts.

We brought Emma in and were worried since she is 9 years old and never experienced anything like this. Dr. Prior and his staff calmed Emma, x-rayed to rule out blockage and then scoped and removed the particles that were causing the dog the problem. The staff and doctor were so attentive to Emma and us, clearly explaining what was going on, what our options were, and then, what we hoped to accomplish. The throwing up stopped and Dr. Prior offered to be on call overnight in case we needed him!! He also called us first thing in the morning to see how Emma was doing. This is unbelievable service and support, I wish we lived here full time for access to PC Animal Clinic. This is the best animal care we have ever experienced.

The front office staff and vet techs always seem to recognize and enthusiastically greet your pet by name and interact with them tenderly, the way they'd treat their own. Due to Dr. Prior's expertise, our 10 year old, formerly-abused foster-turned-adoped dog with heart and trachea issues, was able to live out the last 3 years of his life in comfort and care. He was there at the beginning, there at the end and there for the many, many times between (many, many, many times) and is the most compassionate, knowledgable & accessible vet I have ever met. Because of his care, we were able to enjoy 3 wonderful years with the sweetest of animals before his little heart finally gave out. When the time came, Dr. Prior calmly and gently helped Lamby make a dignified, pain-free transition. He came to our house and spent time asking how we felt about our decision, if we felt okay proceeding or if we wanted to wait..and then walked us through the pros/cons of each choice, never pushing us for a decision in either direction or making us feel rushed. He gave an exceptionally horrible, nasty, sad day a bit of reverence and calm.

I've seen both Dr. Hopper and Dr. Prior and they have both been fantastic. My most recent experience was with Dr. Prior and he has been so helpful. My dog had blood in her urine, they fit me in to their schedule right away (within 10 minutes of calling) and he and the staff all worked with her to help get her healthy again. He updated me frequently which made me feel much more comfortable and helped get my dog back to her normal healthy goofy self. Definitely recommend to any and all pet parents.

We were in Deer Valley for the weekend and our dog ate a pack of gum. Dr. Prior answered the phone at 11:00pm on a Friday night and was so calm and reassuring. He coached my wife and I through the entire process and made sure we were in good hands. We checked in with him about every 30 minutes until 1:00am. He did all of this out of the kindness of his heart and obviously because he has a love for animals. Our dog is doing amazing and we couldn't be more thankful for Dr. Prior!

Thank you for your compassion and willingness to stay and perform emergency surgery on Porter last Wednesday and then being nice enough to drop him off knowing I wouldn't be able to carry him into the house after surgery (even though he wanted to walk in any way). He and his staff always take the time to get to the cause of the problem and explain the best options for helping my dogs heal and prevent the injury/illness from recurring in the future. His approach is thoughtful, advising "what I would do if it were MY dog", which always helps me make the best decisions I can for the well-being of my dogs. The warm setting of the lobby and examination rooms (with fireplaces and big leather sofas) also helps create a more stress-free experience for my pets. I love Park City Animal Clinic!

I HAVE told my best friend and everyone I know about how much I love Dr. Carl Pryor and his staff at Park City Animal Clinic. From the first day of going into the clinic in January 2012 to the day of this review, I cannot begin to adequately express how caring Dr. Pryor and his staff are. I have used this vet's personal cell phone number on a Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and reached him, I have always received follow up calls, there has never been a time that I feel I was used or overcharged and I left a vet in Las Vegas, Nevada that was rated the BEST vet in the city who cared for my five year old dachsund, Marshall for over three years, who never detected a heart murmur that Dr. Pryor found in his first exam. If you need a vet, if you need someone who understands that our pets, no matter how big or small, have a place in your heart and family, then Park City Animal Clinic is the place for your pet and you!!

My family loves our dogs like they are our children. We consider them to be an important part of our family and as such, we look for professionals that would give them the same standard of care that we would expect for our children. Dr. West has been our vet for 8 years (and four dogs) now and she is, without a doubt, one of the best vets around. She is compassionate and cares about the well-being of our dogs, both physical and emotional. What's more, she understands the emotional impact that a pet's illness or injury has on the family. Her knowledge, professionalism, and caring have helped us through some tough times, particularly as one of our beloved dogs fought and ultimately lost her battle with cancer. Park City is lucky to have a vet like Dr. West!!

Fortunately I got a second opinion with another vet. my dog was experiencing severe dehydration due to an Addisons Disease crisis. When I took my dog to another vet, she was immediately hospitalized for several days, I was told that if I would have just trusted Dr. Angela West's diagnosis, my 2 year old puppy could have died within days! NEED I SAY MORE? I left several messages to have Angela West call me. The impolite front office manager told me that Dr. Angela West would not return my calls. It is unclear if Dr. West was given my messages.

That is actually how we found him-our old vet of many years and thousands and thousands of dollars could not be bothered when we had an emergency, even though he was in the office-Dr. Prior came in after hours just to see our dog when we were not even his clients-he did the same for some friends-we now all have switched to his office. Dr. Prior was also able to correctly diagnose our puppy?s problem-over 10 visits to another vet and 3 or 4 to a specialist left us with ?it must be emotional problems? when in fact he had a VERY serious condition. I am thrilled with Dr. Prior's obvious deep concern for the animals-but also with his knowledge and skill. His staff is just as caring-I cannot recommend Dr. Prior enough. It is no wonder people drive up from Salt Lake for this very special vet!
