You know the feeling you get when you first meet someone and can tell that you are going to be good friends? Well, that's the feeling I had the first time I met Dr. Britt Dubil.
I recently took my shy/nervous/fearful rescue dog to Pinebrook Animal Hospital for a dental cleaning. I was a mess before I walked in because I was worried about putting him through a stressful situation. (I took him to a groomer and he hid under our kitchen table for a month.)
As I walked into the clinic, I was immediately greeted by the lead technician Lisen. She was very sweet and called my dog by his name, while taking the time to come down to his level and say Hi.
Then I was greeted by Dr. Dubil. She could tell I was a nervous dog Mom and reassured me that my dog would be comfortable and receive gentle personalized care.
She let me put him into a kennel in their treatment area. I noticed he could see everything and everyone while they went about their work. This gave me great comfort knowing that he wouldn't be left alone in some back room.
I received a call when he was put under anesthesia and then another when he was waking up.
When I picked him up, he didn't want to leave and tried to follow Dr. Dubil into her office with his tail wagging furiously behind him. Who was this dog?!
His teeth were beautiful. The dental cleaning fee here is beyond exceptional and includes pre surgical blood work, anesthesia, I.V. fluids, the cleaning and dental x-rays.
I took my 11year old cat in just last week for an emergency. Dr. Dubil provided an excellent work up on her. She is now comfortable and back to herself after following Dr. Dubil's treatment plan.
I highly recommend Dr. Dubil and Lisen to all of my friends with fur kids.Read Less

Pinebrook used to be a good vet, however, I believe they now have accustomed themselves to the philosophy of "bill for the service, ask permission later". Brought my cat in for a shave for $75. Picked him up and the bill was $143. Vet office decided (without calling and asking myself or my husband) to add three services onto the visit. The staff assumed I would want these services, without asking me if I wanted or needed them before they went ahead and performed the additional services and billed me for them. I went to pick up my cat and Erin at the front desk was happy to bill me twice of the quoted amount. I asked her if she had tried to call me or my husband and she said no but the vet had tried to call in the past to tell me that my cat wasn't up to date on one shot. Funny, because I have no voicemail on my phone from the vet about any vaccinations.
After talking with Erin at the front desk for 15 minutes, she finally took off the exam, after I refused to pay for the exam (which I did not ask for), but would not release my cat unless I paid for the vaccine. Ended up paying $107 for a service which was supposed to be $75.
If you're looking for a boutique vet who will service your pet, no matter what the expense to you, you've found the purrfect place.
If you want an honest vet who charges you for services you ask for OR calls you ahead of time to discuss if you would like those services, then go to Carl Prior at Park City Animal Clinic. He was our original vet and we switched because this vet was closer, however, we are going back to Dr. Prior. Read Less

We feel more then comfortable taking our beloved pets to them for their needs. The doctors and staff are amazing!
They helped us when it was time for our 15 year old Dalmatian to be euthanized. They have seen our senior cat through a few health scares and all his routine and preventative health care. And they are now helping us care for our puppy. We have never had an issue being seen for both routine care and emergency care. Following the procedure Dr. Britt Dubil performed on our dog, we noticed an accumulation of fluid in our dogs front paws making it painful for him to walk and never went away. We talked to Dr. Dubil about it and she said it should go away with in a few days. At no time did she let us know she had trouble placing IV. We took our dog to another vet because Dr. Dubil was ineffective and unprofessional; they noted that the IV likely had been poorly placed as there was accumulation of fluid in both paws and shaded areas in both legs where the iv would have needed to go. I wonder why we were not informed as to the need for an IV to be replaced or at least why there were two areas shaved for the IV to enter. It was heartbreaking to watch our dog try to get around. I never write negative reviews but feel compelled when we had to put our dog down as a result of Dr. Dubil's malpractice. Unfortunately, Dr. Britt Dubil cleaned and extracted my labs teeth knowing his history of cancer. She insisted we do surgery asap because his mouth was in pain and never mentioned any risks. After she cleaned and extracted his teeth, he got a horrible infection. My dog had two extremely swollen front paws, high fever of 104, and rapid heart rate for 3 days after the surgery. Feeling concerned, we took him to Cottonwood Animal Hospital where they were able to get his fever down and the vets located a tumor twice the size of his heart and another bone tumor, osteosarcoma that had been growing prior to the teeth cleaning and extractions. Dr. Dubil should have caught this before the surgery as his body was too weak to endure the infection and surgery. Before the surgery our lab had great energy and was going out for long walks. Sadly, 3 weeks after Dr. Dubil's procedure, our sweet lab died. Pinebrook Animal Hospital looks cozy and seems friendly, but they just want your money and have no idea what they are doing! Read Less
