We had a terrible experience with our first groomer and so someone recommended All About Pets and we took our pup for two years before we had to move. We loved them! Our pup had really bad anxiety surrounding going to the groomer and they made sure he felt safe and were very understanding. Over time he relaxed and wasn't so afraid until we had to switch to a new groomer in a new state. Now we are starting the process all over again and are very sad! I am so disappointed!!! After more than 3 years taking my dog to be groom here l get a call telling me the groomer l requested won't take my dog, even when l had made the appointment more than a month ago she refuses to do it. They tell me l have to reschedule with another groomer whom has already groomed my dog couple of times and not done a good job for me. On top of that the receptionist that called me had the worst people skills!!! She was very rude and wouldn't even tell me why the more experienced groomer won't take my dog. I am not a new customer and l still have to pay the same amount of money even if l was not happy with the service. I understand working with animals is not an easy job but if you are going to hire inexperience groomers and charge the same it's just not fair. It's just terrible customer service!!!! Read Less

I had a really hard time choosing a Veterinarian but I'm really happy with the choice I made. I took in my cat Ash-Lee in bcz he was having issues with his eyes. The receptionist checking us in was kind not only at our arrival but also with our prior phone interaction. Doctor Arnold was great, he went over all the possible health issues. He was very compassionate and caring with Ash. He even called to check up on Ash, Ash got better and I thought he was in the clear but his sickness transferred to his other eye. First off everyone was very nice to us. Everything was clean since they just opened, but when we came back to pick up our little guy we had to wait for them to clean rooms. No one was in the office so the rooms should have been cleaned right after a patient left. But the most annoying thing was we were told our procedure would cost $95.00 total then we added a vaccine for $18.00. When we picked up our puppy all the extra hidden fees we ended up paying an extra $108.00! That's just a little outrageous!! Read Less

WORST VET EVER BEEN TOO-This guy shud be a doctor of hamsters or maybe Bunnies but no one shud EVER let him touch your dog. I have two dogs one is a shepherd mix about 60lbs the other a cattle dog about 45lbs- my shepherd is a trained guard dog so he lets off a little growl when a criminal or weirdo enters our space- he will attack if I say the magic word coupled with correct energy. But to this day he has never bit anyone and visited many many vets and the one thing they always say to me is how impressed they are with the way he takes anything they have to do. So I got to this place cuz I'm new in town and my dogs shots are due. This vet or whatever he was creeps in the room( criminal or weirdo idk) but my shepherd lets off a little growl and this guy immediately without even seeing my dog tells his nurse to "go get the muzzle we got a growler " he didn't give my dog a chance to even meet him or anything he immediately went to trying to force me to have my dog muzzled!-so I said NOway your touching my dog! (and destroying is perception of the vet which he has never had a problem with) Needless to say I did not let him muzzle my dog and we left. This guy shud never have become.a vet he obviously has no feel for dogs and gives off the worst vibe I have ever felt from a vet. That's why I'm sure he's so scared of being bitten-is his weird energy screams bit me to a dog. Which I'm sure they have in the past. My biggest regret was letting him give the shots to my cattle dog- I have no idea why I let that happen. My cattle dog is very loving to all. My wife rescued him from a abusive home and in his happiness of his new life has always been a big lover. Funny thing tho is my cattle dog has bitten many people. Nips on the leg because of his breed when he feels threatened. So ya. Well he and his nurse man handled him and fed him treats constantly thru the visit/exam. Never did he ask me about allergys or if it was ok to give him treat after treat- cattle dogs struggle with weight issues so one treat wud have been fine. Not finishing off a bad and getting another. I think I was in such shock and angry about how he had treated my shepherd and it was early I don't know why I didn't walk out with both of them in th very beginning. I'll be pissed at myself for awhile about that. But hopefully this review will help someone not make the mistake of going here with there loved pet. When I was 17 I got a job working with wolves- Actual wolves- They are just the same as a dog to me and I have no fear of dogs and I have NEVER been bitten in my life. I'm 29 now. If you are going to be a vet you need to understand animals in a way this guy never will. If you have a dog over 30lbs and care about your pet as a family member then PLEASE do your dog a favor and find someone else that obviously fits the role of a good vet and dog lover. So my final thought is this guy is a weirdo that shud be a doctor of nothing-Maybe a hamster but he's probably got a muzzle for those too. Read Less

Horrible horrible horrible. I went in just asking for a refill of my dogs ear medication and they forced me to try a different medication that I told them we tried before and it only made my dogs ear condition worse. We tried it again and same results, it made his ears worse. Switching vet offices because the vet was completely rude and disrespectful and wanted to only test a bunch of different products on my dog even when we knew what medication actually helped. Dr. Arnold was very patient with my dog Maisey. She isn't used to going to the vet often so she growled at the Dr. But he took it well and took time to give maisey her time to warm up to him. I brought my dog here several times, and was never sorry. The place has a wonderful atmosphere, and Doctor Arnold (who was the one my dog saw most often) was very knowledgeable and helpful. The prices weren't too bad, either. When I brought dog in for the last time, trying to decide if it was time to say goodbye to my furry little old guy, we saw a different vet (I'm afraid I can't remember his name, but he was great, too). He didn't push me one way or the other about whether or not to put my dog to sleep, but very kindly gave me all of the information and treatment options available, and gave me some time to think it over. I finally decided that it wasn't likely that any treatment would help my dog much, and it was time to let go. At that point I had some more decisions to make, and again I found that I needed (and was given) some more time to think. When I was ready, they didn't make me put my dog up on the exam table for the euthanasia; they let me have him beside me on the seat with his fuzzy head on my lap.The vet and the vet tech were very kind and sympathetic throughout the whole process, and I received a nice condolence card in the mail. My dogs have received decent veterinary care here, but I felt deeply betrayed and disappointed after my dog's last appointment when my veterinarian tried to push Hills Science Diet as the best option for pet food. I've done tons of research and know from my own experience with Hills that it is NOT a good choice for my dogs. They react badly to corn fillers and the food is low protein which is widely regarded as low quality.  The vet was trying to say that too much protein is bad for dogs and they need corn for the fiber. This goes against all common sense and everything I have studied and researched in canine nutrition. I have lost faith in this office and feel that their priority is selling a product they've sold their soul to over doing what is actually best for their clients. Read Less

I brought my cat in because he was lethargic and had a mass that made his belly bulge.  After examination and an xray, the vet suggested that the cat probably had cancer.  The vet said he could just evacuate the fluid to relieve my cat of his pain and discomfort, but that he was dying.    He left the exam room, then obviously consulted with the vet-owner.   He came back and said that they had to do more tests, that he couldn't remove the fluid/blood in our cat's belly.Remember folks, this is a business first and foremost.   It is about the money first.   The care comes secondly, if at all.   My cat was dying.   They wanted money.  You decide. Dr Arnold was incredibly knowledgable about the process and requirements and caught a number of mistakes made by others that could have been disastrous if not detected when he did. My cat had a major dental surgery and they were so kind and caring throughout the process. They also had the most reasonable price in utah county. They call after every appointment to check in with the pet, which is so nice. They also did a free shelter adoption cat visit for our newly adopted kitten. They were so thorough with our kitten. Upon moving to Utah, I visited numerous vets yet was never quite confident in any until I found Drs. Rimmasch & Arnold. Both are extremely knowledgeable, kind and have always been there for our own pups and any fosters we might have. Please DO NOT board your pets here. As someone who has been behind the scenes I can tell you, it is not a place I would ever leave my dog. They are walked twice a day, once in the morning around 8am and they are left in their small kennel all day (in their own mess) until the second walk around 6pm. On the small chance there is an eager Intern at the clinic that day they might get a short walk around noon as well. The boarding kennels are in the back room with one small frosted window for minimal natural light. If the overhead lights aren't turned on then it is very dark during the day and pitch black at night. That being said, the lights are only on during clinic hours (unless there is a yapping dog, then they turn the lights off) which means if your pet is boarding over the weekend they will be in complete darkness from mid Saturday to Monday morning. It's absolutely awful. For the same cost you can find much much better. Read Less

We had to make the painful decision to put down our little dog last week. Saying goodbye to our cherished companion and buddy of 15.5 years was not easy. After I brought in my dog, they gave me a follow up call a week later (the actual vet who saw my dog) to check in and make sure everything was going well and allowed for any follow up questions I had. So my son brought his dog to all about pets to have it checked out we had called them beforehand they told us a certain price we get there give it they say they're going to give us a free sample of pills we go up to the front counter and then she tries to charge him an extra $13 for those pills the visit was fine until then they lied to us and then she can continue to tell me that the doctor told us that prices which is a lie when I asked to talk to the doctor she said he was too busy to talk to us I think this is very poor customer service and bad business practices I will never give him a good recommendation especially when it is  a 14 year olds money paying for this Read Less

I took my dog in on Saturday to get his shots. On Sunday he got very sick. All about pet is suppose to have an emergency vet. on call. I called and all I got was a recorded message saying if I needed to talk to someone, say yes at the tone. I said yes and all it did is send me back were it started. I tried 3 times and each time got the same response. Well by know my dog is incoherent and close to death. It took me a long time to find a vet that was in on Sunday. The vet gasped and emedeatly gave him a shot.It took time but he came out of it. T.G. Do not trust all about pets emergency practices. They will here from me. Oh hell yea, They will here from me!
