Fantastic vet, highly recommend. I have called with a question about my dog, who has a bad habit of eating EVERYTHING when we are out on walks and making herself sick. When they feel it is urgent, they work her in right away. We really appreciate their care and attention for our girl. I NEVER leave reviews but Dr. Hope Teyler deserves 5 gold stars. Our last vet left a bad taste in our mouths because the office was very pushy and expensive. We called this morning to get our dog in due to breathing difficulties- they squeezed us in for a drop off appointment and kept us informed throughout the whole day about what was going on with our dog. She explained things very clearly and realistically. The whole office was friendly, honest, and really cared about us and our dog. Will definitely be referring our friends and family to Dr. Teyler! I can't say enough great things about this place. A previous vet told us there was nothing they could do to help our puppy with kidney problems. We brought her here afterwards & Dr. Davis was so proactive, tried a bunch of things & thanks to her & this vet clinic our pup has made HUGE improvements & nearly all her issues have been resolved. After having a horrible experience with another Veterinarian I was recommended to Copperview Animal Hospital. I now have taken all of my Dogs to them. They are very efficient and loving with them. I have had many dogs in the past years and of all the Veterinarian they are the only ones I would recommend. Our Brittany started limping and chatting on her foot very aggressively. So we decided to go in. These guys are open on Sunday and took great care of us. It took some searching but we were able to find the bee sting and get it out. Quick shot and we were feeling much better. They even called a couple days later to see how things are going. I will spare you the boring details but lets just say I have been looking for a good vet for my Dogs for a long time and I found a GREAT one. I was referred here after telling someone about my horrible past experiences. I have been there twice so far (when you have 3 dogs and only 2 hands it is best to make separate trips ;) ) They were fantastic to all 3 of my dogs. I loved how they bring you a care plan before any procedures are done so you know exactly what the cost will be. They didn't try to up sell me on food, and unnecessary procedures that had nothing to do with why I was there. And above all they were calm and loving to my dogs and they can be a pain. I have 2 yappy Mini Schnauzers that take a minute to calm down, and I have a shy mastiff. Just one example of what sets them apart is when I took my Mastiff/ Mix in today they could tell that she was uncomfortable with all the new people. So they immediately asked me if I wanted to wait in a private room so she would be more comfortable. I was 20 minutes early. They listened to all my concerns and addressed them, I didn't have to re-ask anything. I saw Dr. Hope Teyler so I am going to recommend her but based off the other staff I would assume all the Doctors are just as fantastic. Read Less

This is the first vet and groomer I brought my puppy to. They were very quick to work me into their schedule and thorough with the exam. Dr. Teyler was so kind and loving to my puppy. I got my dog neutered here as well and I was told he would be there from early morning to late afternoon. I was called half an hour after dropping him off saying he was out of surgery and I could come pick him up. It was a very nice gesture to let me know he was out of surgery, but I just wish I would've known that he'd be done way sooner than I was originally told. When I went to pick him up in the afternoon, I had to wait 10-20 minutes until he actually came out (which was a little worrying, but not the first time I've had to wait that long in the lobby area). I was uncertain how to put the dog cone on so I asked the vet tech to show me. My dog resisted once and she gave up and I had to try to do it on my own at home. I really liked this place (not saying I don't still), but I am a little more disappointed lately. Read Less

** update ** An office manager did reach out to me to discuss my experience and offered to help make it right, which was very kind of them, but I have since decided to remain at my previous (despite being further away) veterinarians office. It was a very nice gesture. Disappointed after reading all the positive and glowing reviews. Had to make an appointment for a nail trim and was sizing up before selecting my vet for my cats annual check up and future shots. Arrived early. Brought required documents. Office did not stay true to appointment time for something as simple as a nail trim. Probably not everyone's experience as indicated by all the other reviews, but I value places that value my time. If you are looking for an amazing, reliable vet for your fur baby, this is the place. The doctors and technicians actually care about your animal's health and they won't charge you way overprice like other places. I recently had my 10 month old Australian Shepard spayed and I am more than happy with the experience. Having your baby go through surgery is never fun but they made sure to walk me through the process and make me feel comfortable leaving them under their care. I only brought my dog here once before we moved out of state. But Dr. Stefanoff was one of the most thorough caring vets my dog has ever been to. I have a 4 year old mini Aussie. These guys are great! My youngest cat has terrible allergies, and coming here from our former vet, we learned about so many more options, and treatments. They are so good with animals and people, and the vet has even called me when I've had questions, and actually listens to concerns and questions when I have them. I was pleased to bring my dog in for the first time for her booster and the Doctor addressed her skin allergy then also. However, the Vet tech really tried to get me to make an appointment that day for a teeth cleaning saying that my dog's gums were bleeding. My dog's gums do not bleed during the weekly brushings I give her and although her teeth have some staining, they were cleaned at Animal Crackers Vet 15 months ago. I will have them cleaned here in November because that is when she is due again and this is over $300. Read Less

We are crazy dog people and take all of our dogs here. We have a 4 year old Doberman that has had some minor problems that we couldn't figure out. Dr. Stefanoff did blood work and diagnosed her with a low thyroid problem and since treatment she has been a new dog. She has much more energy and is happy and healthy. We also had our min pin spayed here, and she had a very small incision and she recovered so quickly! We love all of the doctors and vet techs here, they all make extra effort to get to know us, and our pets. We will never take out dogs anywhere else!Read Less

The absolute best veterinarian out there.  I am a zoologist and very picky who all my fur babies go to.  The entire staff is amazing.  Dr. Amesbury,  Dr. Teyler, and Dr. Stefanoff are the best!  They are very knowledgeable,  truly care, work well together and do everything they can to help.  There only once in the years I've been going there that there was an issue. A staff member from the office actually dropped the medicine off at my house! I also appreciate their honesty.  They give you all options and possibilities. This Animal hospital was recommended to me by a good friend. I was extremely disappointed on several levels. I have a cat with a long history with veterinarians and it's traumatic for him to say the least. One of the vets there didn't, in my opinion, treat him too kindly, just giving him more reason to hate the vet. She also seemed to want him to have a lot of unnecessary tests, etc.$$$! My biggest problem with Copper View was when I called to make an appointment for my 2 cats to have their teeth cleaned, the woman at the front desk told me that the teeth cleaning estimate was only good for 1 month even though I wouldn't be able to schedule an appointment because they had no openings for the next 5-6 weeks. I asked her if they would still honor the estimate if I went ahead and made the appointments. She said she couldn't guarantee it and she didn't know anymore than that. I did not make the appointments because what's the point if they won't honor it? I also asked her if I could get a sedative for my scaredy cat. I thought maybe if they would do that one thing, I may wait and make an appointment for the teeth cleanings at another time. The receptionist said she would ask the Dr. about the sedative and get back to me. She never called me back. I feel Copper View doesn't care about my cats or my business, so I'm going somewhere else. We were very happy with Copper View Animal Hospital. We previously had a frustrating experience at a different vet in South Jordan. We had to pay to bring my cat Momo into their clinic for multiple visits, and at each visit they continued to diagnose him incorrectly and charge us for three separate doses of expensive medicine to treat an infection, even though the urinalysis they performed on the very first visit showed NO signs of an infection. They continued to sell us multiple doses of the medicine (even though it wasn't working) convincing us we needed it, and taking our money over and over again. Finally when I was frustrated to the point of tears, I was referred to Copper View Animal Hospital by my boss. It was such a relief to finally find an honest vet! Dr. Amesbury is great. She is very knowledgeable and helpful, and really took the time to talk to me about Momo, making sure all my questions got answered. She correctly diagnosed him on the first visit, and gave him some medicine and prescription food which helped him feel better within a matter of hours. This was very refreshing after almost three weeks of him being in constant pain and discomfort. Not to mention - the cost of the vet visit, AND his medicine, AND his new prescription food all together was actually LESS than solely the FIRST visit at the other vet (much less the other visits on top of that!). Dr. Stefanoff is an INCREDIBLE human being... I don't even know where to begin writing this review... If I could give unlimited stars...let's just say I would start there! So-Long story short, we have three puggle dogs... one of which has epilepsy and it has been more challenging than I can even begin to express. Our dogs are our children to us and watching one of them go through uncountable seizures and medications has been heartbreaking to say the least.:( So many vets prior to Dr. Stefanoff hardly showed the amount of love, kindness and compassion that he has shown us... this guy truly cares about your pet as if he/she were his own! His passion for animals is so obvious and incredible. This last seizure cluster that our dog had was the most challenging so far and Dr. Stefanoff really eased our emotions and stress. He insisted we bring her into the clinic where he monitored her for the day with the best care and love... and then... are you ready for this...??? He kindly offered to take her TO HIS HOME for the night so he could closely monitor how she responds to a new medication that would hopefully help manage her seizures... at no cost! He could clearly see how emotionally exhausted we were and he even mentioned that it would help us get a good night's rest because boy did we need it!!! Having your dog seizure continuously throughout several days and then close to every hour throughout the night is not an easy situation! It is incredibly stressful, heartbreaking and exhausting... so THANK YOU, Dr. Stefanoff!!! We are so grateful to have found you and to know you! I called on two separate occasions. Once with a question about Care Credit and a second time to ask about prices for services in the grooming salon. Both times the woman that answered the phone was rude, and gave short, one word answers and was annoyed when I asked more questions for clarification. I should not have bothered calling a second time, however, I gave the benefit of the doubt (considering all the great reviews I had read about this clinic being friendly) and assumed that perhaps the woman was having a bad day. I do not know if it was the same woman both times and I cannot speak on  the rest of the staff and vet but I have no desire to take my puppy to this clinic for any reason. Bad first impression! I came her with my dog for the first time yesterday for my dog's eye infection. They were very friendly and professional and took time to answer my questions, and they were gentle and comforting with my dog. There was little but of a wait but nothing that I didn't expect since it is a doctors office. Our follow up visit on Friday won't cost any extra either. Overall they seem like a great office!
