I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Larsen and the rest of the Dancing Cats staff. I’ve never been to another vet who so genuinely cares about you and your cats. Dr. Larsen spends the time to really answer questions, and make sure you understand the diagnosis and treatment. Over the years I’ve been going to Dancing Cats, she has saved two of my cats and helped me through the death of another. The kindness, compassion and honesty from everyone at the clinic helps during those tough times when your cats are ill. Disappointed. I've been really wanting to take my cats here and my cat had some swelling and needed an appointment. I called and left a voicemail. She called me back and told me that they weren't accepting any new clients (not sure why you wouldn't just put that on your voicemail). I asked if she had any recommendations and she wasn't helpful and told me to go to whatever veterinarian was closest to me. I asked if she would ever be accepting new patients in the foreseeable future and she said no. It was a weird conversation. You think they could offer a waitlist or something? Bummer. Read Less

Calling to make a appointment made me feel like I was annoying the receptionist. She took longer to try and talk me out of making an appointment than she did taking my information. I made the appointment for 5pm, they 'accidentally' made the appt for 11am. When I called about the mistake, I didn't even get a sorry. Dancing Cats met all expectations! This is a cat haven! My senior cat was in need of dental cleaning and extractions, which sadly was his first. I did my research and went to multiple Vet's to find the perfect match for me and my cat. Nothing compares to Dancing Cats Feline Health Center!! Dr. Larsen and her staff are so personable and kind. At the well visit (prior to the dental cleaning) they were very thorough in examining my cat, took their time and answered all my questions. The day of the dental cleaning, they took me on a tour of the facility. I was shown where the surgery and recovery would take place along with telling me their special touches for recovery (which is another reason why this place is so great!) I also was introduced to all the office cats :) Dr. Larsen called me prior to surgery (I requested the call) and during recovery to let me know everything went well. Dancing Cats definitely takes the time to meet your needs. I am completely satisfied with the end results. No more stinky breath, sore gums and rotten teeth! I am so happy I finally found this place. My cat actually LOVED going to this vet! She's a sweet little buddy of a cat and likes new people, but especially loved the ones working here. These folks were so kind and you can tell they love what they do. I was also reading about Dr. Nan and all the little touches that go into her clinic (the walls are actually painted in colors that cats can see). It was so nice to let my cat relax in the room while we waited for Dr. Nan. And the lack of barking made this a truly unique vet experience! Read Less

I may not have the most social cat in town, but that gives you no right to tell me "maybe you should look elsewhere"! Who do you think you are?! My cat is 12 years old, the only pet I've ever had and I've had her since she was a baby kitten. Of all places I've been to, this place is filled with crooked office staff and no compassion. Dancing Cats is the absolute best! We read all the great reviews and decided to take our new kitten there. It's a 45 minute drive for us (with good traffic) and totally worth it! Everyone there is amazing and are so good to our little one. I have two other cats who I had been taking to a different vet. Hands down the best place I have found to take care of your cats. I have been with this clinic for some time now and have had had great success with all of my animals. I had to put one of my cats down and Dr. Larsen was very kind with my cat. My mother also uses the clinic for her cats and actually adopted one from the clinic that was housed through CAWS. Dancing Cats is the best. Several years ago, someone brought a pregnant stray who had been hit by a car into the clinic. Dr. Larsen nursed the cat back to health and cared for the kittens until they were old enough to adopt out. I adopted two from the litter, and they have continued to return to Dancing Cats for their annual check ups. Dr. Larsen is great at keeping the stressed cats calm, and is very good at explaining any health issues to me. I would highly recommend Dancing Cats to anyone. Read Less

Dr Larsen is the best vet we have ever known... By miles!!! She's incredibly caring, compassionate and knowledgable. My kitty received excellent care by Dr. Larsen and her staff!  Dr. Larsen examined my cat thoroughly and with great care and expertise.  My cat needed a tooth pulled and another one was infected.  She was started on antibiotics and is feeling much better.  I also appreciate the follow up call from the staff to see if my cat was doing better.  I would recommend Dancing cats for all cat owners. Dr. Nan and staff have always treated our cats with care and concern as if they were their own. I won't take my cats anywhere else. The level of service and professionalism we receive at Dancing Cats is superior to other vet clinics i had visited in the past. Dr. Nan knows cats and I trust her completely with any situation. I am not happy with their service.I took my baby their for a check up and they gave her  a clean bill of health except for her teeth.I was just cuddling with her so I still can't believe she's gone.I didn't get a card.Only a so called compassionate discount.I took her  there to save her life and can you believe my surprise when they called wanting to euthanize her.So she hissed at them and wasn't comfortable around them animals are intuitive.And I still allowed these vets to put their hands on my baby.It's just weird how they didn't make sure she was healthy enough to go under anesthesia.They told us she had a tumor and took some xraysBut now I know.It's all about the money.I read all these wonderful fake reviews and was led to this death hole.They were selfish,cold but they sure made sure to let us know we owe almost $ 500.00.However, they killed my cat,for a pay check, cremated her and it didn't matter anymore that she just went in there for a teeth cleaning and it was her last time.She was my family and my friend.My Therapy for my PTSD when I got out the military.Shedidn't deserve this.This woman also made it seem like cause I got her from the shelter it didn't matter.I see some people say that they were trying to help them with money but they weren't trying to help us.I told them she was already vaccinated and these punks tried to get us to get her vaccinated for more money.I just want my cat back.Going here was the Worst mistake.I look at her empty bed and remember how these criminals took our precious,beautiful kitty. Dr Larsen and her staff are awesome!  They treated my cat recently and although the outcome was terminal I could not have asked for better or more compassionate care.  They truly restored my faith in what I believe a veterinarian should be.....people who truly love animals.  They even sent me a condolence card when I lost my "fur baby" that each of them personally wrote something in and signed.  I won't take my cats any place else! I wanted to find a vet in Salt Lake CIty that works specifically with cats, since it can be traumatic to take your kitty to a vet with a bunch of large barking dogs sniffing around. Dancing Cats is the place to go. Dr. Nan Larsen is kind and loving with your kitty, and her gentle nature is very soothing to your favorite feline! They even have calming meditative music playing in the lobby. Also, you can tell the entire staff LOVES cats. They have their own gaggle of kitties living in the office, including a feral cat, and all are happy and well taken care of.  (The cats, that is. I assume the staff is happy and well taken care of as well!)I'm so grateful for the recommendation I received to start going to Dancing Cats Feline Health Center. Dr. Larsen is truly one of a kind vet. She had taken care of my cats (Peanut & Blueberry) for several years and I had referred her to other cat lovers in the valey who were looking for a very caring vet.She is open on "even" Saturdays for pet owners that can't make it during the week. She has met with me more than once after business hours and she was sensitive to my budget when money was tight. I HAD AN EXTREMLY HARD TIME LOOSING MY 19 YEAR OLD CAT POUNCER I HAD HER SINCE I WAS 5 YEARS OLD, AND HAVING TO PUT HER TO SLEEP WAS THE HARDEST DECISION I EVER HAD TO MAKE. I took my sick kitty to Dr. Larsen a few days ago, and couldn't be happier that I did. Normally, she would be attempting to gouge out the technician's eyeballs on such a vet visit, but the people were so caring. They took the time to pet her and calm her, and were really excellent. I put my kitty on a new food and herbs that were recommended, and she's feeling great. I really recommend these guys to anyone with a cat. Read Less
