My family has been coming here for the majority of our pets for over 15 years. And on the last day of my dog's life, I could not have been more disappointed...
Weeks ago I scheduled our goodbye with MW, and I picked today because I was assured Dr. Bott would be in town as he wouldn't be earlier this month. She loves Dr. Bott, and I wanted her final moments to be with her favourite and most familiar vet. I checked MULTIPLE times to ensure this and was told if anything changed, Id be informed in advance.
We show up today, and learn its with their stand in vet, Dr. King, because evidently Dr. Bott was gone today as well. They did not light the candle they usually do when people are saying goodbye so that the lobby can stay quiet, so we had to hear chatter while trying to say our goodbyes. This might not seem big but I've been there when the candle was lit and it hurt they didn't care to give that courtesy to us even after I asked about it.
And Dr. King had terrible bedside manner. Didn't even bother to check the info on our dog before coming into the room as he kept calling her a boy. It just showed how little he cared to even try and act like this was important on her last day. And then he ignored us when we told him her arthritis is horribly painful in her back legs, and instead of finding a different placement the way Bott would have since he knows her, he just gave her the sedative in her hind leg causing her to flip out from the pain in her final alert moments.
Just a terrible experience for the hardest day of my life as is. Our goodbye was ruined by these people, and my sweet dog didnt even get to see anyone she loved and was familiar with in office. Not Jordyn, the kind front desk girl, and not her favourite most trusted vet Dr Bott.
I'd recommend anyone to Dr Bott, but i wouldnt recommend anyone to do anything at this clinic otherwise. I will be finding somewhere else to go for my other pets and any future pets as well. Shame on everyone there today for their lack of effort put in to an already difficult situation. I am disgusted with everyone who was in clinic July 29th 2023. And if Dr King is the vet available when you go in for anything, I say turn around and leave. Disappointed beyond words.

We have always been animal people (and dog parents most of the time to be specific) and were very happy to find Dr. Bott at Mountain West! We've seen him for years now and send any animal parents we meet to him.
It is amazing how much he really truly cares about our animals, and gives them top rate care...and I can't say enough good about his staff. It is always a pleasure to see him and his office staff, and that helps when your pet is not feeling well.
We love the clinic, and so do our fur babies...give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

And Mountain West has not disappointed. Everyone is attentive and takes time to talk through treatment options, also making sure to answer any and all questions. Pricing is reasonable. And we haven't had any trouble with scheduling.

They’re so friendly and will always answer your worried pet questions. Dr. Bott is hands down one of the best vets I have ever been to and I will always tell people to bring their pets here no matter what they need to be seen for.

They fit us in on a Saturday! Very helpful friendly clean and knowledgeable! Bacterial infection is what he has! Great place parked on the street so it is truck friendly also. 1 mile off the 15! I love this place. After having a bad experience with my older cat at a different vet, I came here on family recommendation. I've never felt more comfortable and listened too at a Vets office. They are kind, compassionate, respectful and all around great people. I sadly had to put my girl down, but they made it go smoothly and we're very understanding I also got a condolences card in the mail which was a sweet touch. I will never go anywhere else for care for my furbabies.

I have a special needs Newfoundland and have taken him to 20+ vets in the valley (many of whom recommended euthanasia). Since our visits started at Mountain West Animal Hospital, Dr. Bott and his team have completely alleviated all of my dog's skin/food allergy issues, and have helped us with long term pain management for my dog's spinal fusions. They don't just treat the symptoms, they figure out the root cause of the issue and treat it in the most cost-effective and minimally invasive way possible.
I have sent all my friends and family's pets here and always recommend them because this place TRULY cares about our pets.

Excellent Veterinarian, friendly staff and reasonable pricing. Having a cat with a chronic condition meant seeing a vet often and after visiting other vet offices in the area, we think Mountain West Animal Hospital is the best one. They don't make you wait long, they listen to you, and they worked with our budget well. Reccomended them to friends and family, and everyone was very impressed by how good Dr. Bott is.

I had the best experience the other day, at all places the Vet! A friend of mine referred me to Mountain West Animal Hospital in Springville and this Dr. Bott Rocks!!! Within minutes he had sussed out my dogs leg problem, subscribed what he needed suggested what I needed to do to help him heal, was super nice to deal with (as was his staff) and had me out of there in less then 20 minutes... MWAH was more affordable and much much more help, from the front desk who was super super nice back to Dr.Bott and the girl helping The doc. Everyone was so super friendly and a ton of help! My small dog was injured on a Friday evening. I called as soon as they opened on Saturday to see if he could be seen. The receptionist told me that they were booked solid all day. After speaking to the doctor, she told me that he was willing to stay late to see my dog. I know this seems very small and insignificant however, to me it speaks volumes about the kind of person he is. I know that he doesn't have to stay late, but the fact that he was willing was not only a huge relief to me and it reinforced why I chose him as our veterinarian. Not to mention, the quality of care that my dog receives is second to none. My dog is family and I appreciate his level of care. There are many veterinarian's, but he is the best!

My father passed away last year, and I needed to make an emergency flight home to be with family. I needed to get my Labrador, Sasha's shot records, and her overall health information to the airlines so that she could travel with me as a support/service dog.. Dr Botts and his staff were amazingly fast and efficient, not only providing that information to the Airlines, but they were also very kind and comforting in my time of need. Sasha and I were seated in the front row on first class!! It was a good memory in a sea of emotion. Thank you Dr. Bott!

VERY happy with my experience today. We used to have MWAH as our vet many years ago, but I switched to a different one because we didn't love how our pets were treated there. Recently, we decided to give Dr. Bott a try (much more affordable than the vet we've been going to) and brought our cat in for a tooth extraction. Everyone was very friendly and up front with me about what to expect, but even more importantly to me, he was gentle with my cat. We will definitely stick with Mountain West from here on out!

Over the road truck driver with my dog as my companion! He's been sick the last couple days I Google searched for a good vet in the area and found this vet hospital and Dr Bott! They fit us in on a Saturday! Very helpful friendly clean and knowledgeable! Bacterial infection is what he has! Great place parked on the street so it is truck friendly also. 1 mile off the 15! Great experience! Thank you everyone involved!

I am very impressed by Dr Bott. He is knowledgeable and kind and respectful to his clients. I really value his expertise as a reproductive expert. I would give 5 starts but getting an appointment was a little difficult and I wish they were more detailed and clear about pricing.

I love this place. After having a bad experience with my older cat at a different vet, I came here on family recommendation. I've never felt more comfortable and listened too at a Vets office. They are kind, compassionate, respectful and all around great people. I sadly had to put my girl down, but they made it go smoothly and we're very understanding I also got a condolences card in the mail which was a sweet touch. I will never go anywhere else for care for my furbabies.

Dr. Bott was amazing! We have seen multiple other vets but he is by far the best! He actually cares and was very thorough with our German Shepherd. The prices are amazing as well.

I have a special needs Newfoundland and have taken him to 20+ vets in the valley (many of whom recommended euthanasia). Since our visits started at Mountain West Animal Hospital, Dr. Bott and his team have completely alleviated all of my dog's skin/food allergy issues, and have helped us with long term pain management for my dog's spinal fusions. They don't just treat the symptoms, they figure out the root cause of the issue and treat it in the most cost-effective and minimally invasive way possible.
I have sent all my friends and family's pets here and always recommend them because this place TRULY cares about our pets.

Excellent Veterinarian, friendly staff and reasonable pricing. Having a cat with a chronic condition meant seeing a vet often and after visiting other vet offices in the area, we think Mountain West Animal Hospital is the best one. They don't make you wait long, they listen to you, and they worked with our budget well. Reccomended them to friends and family, and everyone was very impressed by how good Dr. Bott is.

Last week a friend recommended Mountain West Animal Hospital and Dr. Bott. Having not used a Vet in several years I was a bit hesitant but my dog Max needed his attention. Dr is incredibly knowledgeable and sussed out the problem within seconds.

I had the best experience the other day, at all places the Vet! A friend of mine referred me to Mountain West Animal Hospital in Springville and this Dr. Bott Rocks!!! Within minutes he had sussed out my dogs leg problem, subscribed what he needed suggested what I needed to do to help him heal, was super nice to deal with (as was his staff) and had me out of there in less then 20 minutes... I was hestitant to switch Vets but after hearing such great things about Dr.Bott I finally took the time to set up an apt. I finally made the jump and I am extremely happy that I did. MWAH was more affordable and much much more help, from the front desk who was super super nice back to Dr.Bott and the girl helping The doc. Everyone was so super friendly and a ton of help! Very happy!

Great place. They diagnosed what was wrong with our Black Lab on the first visit and he has been fine ever since. We went to our last vet 3 times for the same issue and never got a solution. Moved to Springville and changed Vets. Great decision. Dr Bott is very knowledgable and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My small dog was injured on a Friday evening. I called as soon as they opened on Saturday to see if he could be seen. The receptionist told me that they were booked solid all day. After speaking to the doctor, she told me that he was willing to stay late to see my dog. I know this seems very small and insignificant however, to me it speaks volumes about the kind of person he is. I know that he doesn't have to stay late, but the fact that he was willing was not only a huge relief to me and it reinforced why I chose him as our veterinarian. Not to mention, the quality of care that my dog receives is second to none. My dog is family and I appreciate his level of care. There are many veterinarian's, but he is the best!

My father passed away last year, and I needed to make an emergency flight home to be with family. I needed to get my Labrador, Sasha's shot records, and her overall health information to the airlines so that she could travel with me as a support/service dog.. Dr Botts and his staff were amazingly fast and efficient, not only providing that information to the Airlines, but they were also very kind and comforting in my time of need. Sasha and I were seated in the front row on first class!! It was a good memory in a sea of emotion. Thank you Dr. Bott!

VERY happy with my experience today. We used to have MWAH as our vet many years ago, but I switched to a different one because we didn't love how our pets were treated there. Recently, we decided to give Dr. Bott a try (much more affordable than the vet we've been going to) and brought our cat in for a tooth extraction. Everyone was very friendly and up front with me about what to expect, but even more importantly to me, he was gentle with my cat. We will definitely stick with Mountain West from here on out!
