Ok, I will skip the standard Tooele County comments about local veterinarian options. I am sure you have all heard or experienced pros and cons at both of the Animal Hospitals in Tooele City. As have I. Some very extreme one way or the other.
That's why when it came time to choose a Doc for our three current cats, we decided to try the newest, Stansbury Animal Hospital, with Dr. Ryan Roundy. What a breath of fresh air, literally. The waiting room was nicer than most Human Hospitals or Clinics can offer, WITH NO SCENT OF ANIMAL URINE, NO RANDOM ANIMALS WANDERING THRU TO UPSET THE PATIENT ANIMALS, NO ABILITY TO SEE HEAR TOUCH OR SMELL ANY OF THE SAD, ANGRY, SICK, GROGGY, WHINEY, DISCOMBOBULATED PETS IN THE DIFFERENT STAGES OF A VET VISIT. Incredible design, maintenance, equipment, and especially staff. Finn went in for neutering and shots and never showed us any sign of being upset, he probably would love to visit again! The previous cats in the family ... At the other local options, basically hated it like we expect cats to hate it. By contrast, the entire process here at Stansbury from check-in to checkout was calming for both pet and owner. And we paid about the same as a similar visit for a different cat at a different local vet. (Which is FAR less than any other animal clinics in the Salt Lake Valley) Thanks Stansbury Animal Hospital, well done, we are greatly impressed and will be back soon with the two little girl cats!
