We had to put our beloved Boxer Roxie down on February 6th. The staff was very supportive and sincerely nice. We received a card from them with personalized notes from the Vets who took care of her in her final months. The veterinarian who performed this explained everything that was going to happen during the process. They treated Roxie very well and it was extremely quick which we were thankful for. It is not easy to make such a decision concerning your beloved pet but they helped to make it easier on all of us. Read Less

Their vets are good with animals, but are hurried. They just tell me services I need to schedule in the future. As far as general exams go, they don't seem to have the time to sit down and get to know me or my dogs. The front desk has some nice ladies, but also a lady who consistently snaps at her coworkers in front of clients. This vet literally did everything they could to rescue you my dog that had a bowel abstruction. My dog just passed away today because the infection had gotten so severe. However this vet is so amazing that the vet technician Jenny paid for some of my bill and bought a ceramic paw print for me so that my family and I could remember him. A well deserved 5-Star Review! I brought my female Havanese puppy in for her Spaying and have the Vet look at her teeth as she seemed to be retaining her baby teeth which was causing her difficulty with eating. Her spaying went well as did the removal of 9-stubborn little baby teeth. The Laser therapy for wound healing truly seemed to make a difference in the progress of her wound healing. It's been less than 24-hours since her procedure and I'm hearing her playing with her stuffed animal in her kennel! I can say with confidence and all sincerity that Animal Care West provides exemplary care for my beloved pets! The Staff and the Veteranarians are top notch when it comes to the best care possible for my babies. They always go above and beyond to insure that you are able to make informed decisions about what is best for your pet. We just went here for the first time and everyone was so amazing. I absolutely love that they listened and took their time. It's hard to get an appointment when my husband and I both work but that's only a minor annoyance. We saw Dr. Walsh today, he's a new vet with them and I think he's my favorite vet I have ever seen throughout our dog's lives! I love them! I had to put my baby down after he was diagnosed with lung cancer. They were sweet, kind, carrying and stayed after hours to give us time to say goodbye. They even waited for my son to arrive before they put my fury baby down! I highly recommend them!Read Less

We love this clinic in general, but a certain experience really stands out.When we chose to put our beloved cat to sleep because of her ongoing health issues, the staff was absolutely amazing. They explained the process, what to expect and what would happen after. When our sweet girl passed, we were left in the room to say our goodbyes and given as much time as we needed and then we were given options on what to do with her remains. They were so gentle with her, and gave her all the love and respect she deserved. We were very impressed and she is now in a beautiful wooden urn in our home. Read Less
