Dr. Lewter is a great vet. She's so experienced and draws on a wide range of knowledge from both eastern and western medicine to treat animals. Her office is very calm and it takes a while for my pets to realize they are at the vet! She spends a lot of time with you and your pet. I only wish I could find a human doctor like her. My pets get way better medical care than I do!

We took our dog to this clinic yesterday. The vet is very welcoming. the stuff are super friendly and professional, and most importantly the doctor was super helpful and understanding. We have a shy dog which does not like any one get close to him. They handle the situation well beyond our expectation. We were with our dog during the exam.There is no back exam room there which was a positive point for our dog. We could stay with your dog while the doctor was examining our dog. The Holistic Vet clinic did great job to get the vaccine to our dog. We are extremely happy and satisfied with the Holistic Vet Clinic. I would highly recommend this place. I cannot thank them enough!

Totally positive experience. Amber is amazing and is always there to be helpful and always gets back with me in a timely manner and is very sweet and personal with you. Dr. Lewter totally believes in individualized care and we are never hurried or rushed. She is very thorough and values time with her patients and their families.

Marjorie Lewter is awesome. We wanted the best possible old age for our beloved sheltie without doing anything invasive. Immediately after starting treatment with Dr Lewter our dog felt and looked better, she was happy and had her old zest for life. Several more years of quality life we had with our dog . When she died at 16 Dr Lewter helped us give her a natural death at home. Our new dog is now a patient of Holistic Veterinary. Dr Lewter has helped us sort through all the available vaccines. I make my own dog food and she has given me guidance. When our puppy got into trouble and burned her tongue, Dr Lewter treated our collie . No trauma. We all got on the floor with collie as she was given fluids and there was an ease and wellbeing .

Dr Lewter and her staff at Holistic Veterinary Consults have been a blessing to us. Our Yorkie, Sammy, has collapsed trachea and we were finding traditional medicine was not helping him anymore. Dr Lewter worked with us on finding a holistic treatment plan that has absolutely done wonders for him. I have found them willing to answer questions and work through any new health issues Sammy has. Sammy still takes some traditional medicines for other health problems and Dr Lewter has been very willing to work together with our regular vet to best meet Sammy’s needs. I would highly recommend Holistic Veterinary Consultants.CT Radford VA

Thank you so much, Amber, for working me into the schedule yesterday. And, thank you, Dr. Lewter for your studied approach to the health and comfort of my Tashi. Pet lovers, I highly recommend Dr. Lewter and her office to care for your furry friends. Tashi was comfortable here the moment he walked in the door and an hour later, did not wish to leave. It is a calm setting, you are the only one scheduled at a time slot, so your pet can explore or sit quietly, their choice. Tashi explored the entire space and made himself known to the Vet, a Vet student from VT and the office manager. I felt I was listened to, alternatives were thoroughly explained to me and rationale provided for each option. Knowledge is power. Flexibility permits you to use your own heart when making your choices for your pet. And the calm, unhurried atmosphere was worth its weight in gold.

I feel we are so blessed to have Dr. Lewter in our local area. I can't begin to tell you how much she has helped by dog, Jody. He has heart and lung issues and I can honestly say that if it hadn't been for Dr. Lewter he wouldn't be with me now. Her expertise and compassion mean so much. I trust her, my husband trusts her and so does Jody with whatever we face in the future.

I'm a tough sell and an opinionated middle-aged goat, but Dr. Lewter has won my hard-earned respect. She is respectful and always on time. I love the fact my animals get all facets of care available when they are ill, not simply the flavor-of-the-day latest greatest antibiotic. Her bedside manner is never rough. Thanks for being a great problem solver.

Dr. Lewter has been caring for my pets for over 3 years and I have always been happy with her professional service. I recently saw Dr. Voinc and she was great too - very helpful with a new dog we adopted and helping us identify a new food to help with his allergies. Very relaxing and low volume clinic so you and your pet get all the attention while you are there!

Dr. Lewter is a great vet. She's so experienced and draws on a wide range of knowledge from both eastern and western medicine to treat animals. Her office is very calm and it takes a while for my pets to realize they are at the vet! She spends a lot of time with you and your pet. I only wish I could find a human doctor like her. My pets get way better medical care than I do!

We took our dog to this clinic yesterday. The vet is very welcoming. the stuff are super friendly and professional, and most importantly the doctor was super helpful and understanding. We have a shy dog which does not like any one get close to him. They handle the situation well beyond our expectation. We were with our dog during the exam.There is no back exam room there which was a positive point for our dog. We could stay with your dog while the doctor was examining our dog. The Holistic Vet clinic did great job to get the vaccine to our dog. We are extremely happy and satisfied with the Holistic Vet Clinic. I would highly recommend this place. I cannot thank them enough!

Marjorie Lewter is awesome. We wanted the best possible old age for our beloved sheltie without doing anything invasive.
