This is the only vet I will take my puppy to. We got our dog in February 2018 from Pet-Go-Round in the Pembroke Mall (good dog, bad choice of place) and took her to Greenbrier Animal Care Center only to find out that she had pneumonia AND giardia. The staff was very supportive and called a day or two after her treatment started to make sure she was doing okay and if she was getting better with treatment (she ended up having to go on two different antibiotics but she’s great now). I know that when I take my dog here she’s going to be treated like she’s a part of the family and I am very grateful to have my energetic puppy back. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Read Less

This may be the best veterinary office I've used in 30 years of owning various animals. I can always get a message to the vet and all the staff friendly and compassionate I have an older rescue dog with a multitude of health issues and pain from broken leg bones that didn't get care when they should have. Dr Mitchell with the help of her staff have worked with me closely to get my boys pain under control and his quality of life back. Now he's enjoying dog park fun and daily hikes. He's a treasure and I thank them for all the wonderful care. Read Less

For all the pet owners, DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! I am all for small, local businesses that help our local community and economy. However, this vet is scamming people out of their hard-earned money. I took my dog there for a visit when her first recommendation didn't work. This time I got a BS diagnosis, no cure or recommendation other than to cage the dog for weeks on end which is cruel unless recovering from surgery. She stated she would take an X-ray but took multiple and then charged me for them. The bill was $300 for nothing. When confronted about the bill the vet rudely stated that my "dog was broken" but she wouldn't tell me how to fix her. As most pet owners, I would gladly pay if there was a reasonable diagnosis and recommendation/meds. No one would take their car to a mechanic and pay $300 for nothing in return. Please save yourself the irritation and disappointment by going to another vet that actually knows what they are doing and cares. Read Less

I'm so thankful for the people over at Greenbrier Animal Care Center! My husband and I recently adopted a VERY skittish orange kitty; we named her Nevada. I noticed she was having some ear problems. I called over to GACC after seeing the reviews and I'm happy to leave my own 5-star here too. We walked in and were greeted right away. (They also have a cute little 'Welcome Board' and it has the names of all the animals they'll see that day; what a nice touch!) We were taken back and once the staff were able to get a hold of Nevada (she doesn't like to be picked up), they were able to diagnose and treat the problem - she may have had ear mites but it was hard to get a very good sample without her full cooperation. My husband and I felt very comfortable with the staff and knew people who love animals were caring for our new kitty. Also, we even received a postcard in the mail about a week and a half later thanking us for our business, I really appreciate when a business takes time to reach out like that. We've found the only vet we want to trust to take care of Nevada! Read Less
