After being in Chesapeake for a little over a year I think I've finally found a vet a that I like.
On our initial visit I brought Jango in for a aural hematoma in his left ear. They were able to successfully insert a drain and prescribe some meds and it's now healing nicely. The vet we've seen on both visits is Dr Courtney who's been very friendly and Jango seems at ease with her.
All in all a good start. I'll be updating this review when there's more to report.

Their meat is not that great in quality nor is their produce. Also the store brands are not good better to buy branded items.

If your pet is part of the family then Acredale is a great place to take them. The Doctors and staff treat them as their own. They are very kind and gentle with you and your fury family member. They take the time to get to know your pet and make them feel at ease each visit, not rush right in with no regards to how nervous they may be... Check out their website for details about everything they do at the one on Indian River Road or the newer location in Great Bridge, they are both great locations.

We have been bringing our pets to Acredale since 2001 and have always loved it. We rescued a pit mix two years ago and she is very anxious and doesn’t like her nails trimmed. After a few unsuccessful attempts at trimming her nails Bettina from the Va Beach office suggested I come out to the Chesapeake office since that location isn’t as busy. I had the best experience today! Bettina was wonderful with my Coco and was even able to trim her nails. It is obvious not only Bettina but the whole staff really love their job and that’s the kind of vet I want our pets going to. Thank you Bettina, Dr Delorenzo and the sweet girl up front for making my visit with my sweet Coco great today! You guys are the best!!

I love this vet office! Not only for its staff & their professionalism & friendliness but it’s clean & convenient too!! I highly recommend this vet hospital to all that have pets!!

Staff was really friendly and made check in easy...Dr. Rob was very informative and really caring to our concerns about our family dog Pepper. Dr. Rob made sure that we had his contact information and even called a couple days later to check in on his new patient. Acredale is our new primary care vet for our fur babes.

Dr. Vaughn has provided excellent care to our pets for over 25 years (4 dogs, a dozen cats!). She is patient and professional. She is also personable - she remembers our pets and family members. For instance, Dr. Vaughn would ask how our grandmother was doing for quite some time after her dog passed away and she no longer came in to the clinic. The facilities may not appear state-of-the-art stainless-steel hospital-like, but don't be fooled; you can't ask for better, more compassionate care anywhere.

After being in Chesapeake for a little over a year I think I've finally found a vet a that I like.
On our initial visit I brought Jango in for a aural hematoma in his left ear. They were able to successfully insert a drain and prescribe some meds and it's now healing nicely. The vet we've seen on both visits is Dr Courtney who's been very friendly and Jango seems at ease with her.
All in all a good start. I'll be updating this review when there's more to report.

We have been bringing our pets to Acredale since 2001 and have always loved it. We rescued a pit mix two years ago and she is very anxious and doesn’t like her nails trimmed. After a few unsuccessful attempts at trimming her nails Bettina from the Va Beach office suggested I come out to the Chesapeake office since that location isn’t as busy.
