Drs. Loehr and Jordan are extremely knowledgeable, kind and compassionate in the care and treatment of our 4 legged family members. Tina and the rest of the staff do a phenomenal job and truly care about our pets well being. And the costs are very reasonable, too. We can't say enough about how exceptional this clinic is. We live about 40 minutes from them and there are many vets closer but unless it is a dire emergency, our dogs will always go to Town & Country. We know how our pets are going to be treated!! I have been going to Town & Country since Dr. Jordan opened the practice in 17977 out of his home. I moved several years ago to New Kent and decided to try a vet closer to home. I immediately went back to Drs. Jordan and Loehr. There is no comparison to these two knowledgeable, professional, kind and caring doctors. Dr. Jordan actually cried along with me years ago when I had to put down my beloved cocker spaniel. As long as Town and Country is open I will do whatever it takes to bring my pets to these wonderful people. My dog of 14 years needed to be put down. The folks at Town and Country were simply incredible. I could not believe the care and compassion they provided for something that was so very difficult for me. They seemed to know just when to come and go so I could spend those last moments with my old friend. Dr. Jordan and Dr. Loehr are wonderful doctors. They have been taking care of my pets for over 15 years. I moved out of the area and still drive back there so my pets can be seen by them. The whole staff is attentive, caring, and respectful. I have two very old chihuahuas now, one has been on heart medication for months. One of the doctors calls each month to check and see how she is doing when she gets her medication refills. They always followup. Read Less

So far, so good! Took my 2 yr old doodle to T&C after having a horrible experience at another local vet. We had just moved to town and I didn't know who to go to. The T&C staff are very friendly and I was impressed by the vet and his assistant. I was pleasantly suprised at how much attention we got. My doodle got plenty of affection and the vet looked at me and really took time to listen. The best of the best. You only need to go to one visit before you are hooked. The doctors are phenomenal and have these dispositions that allow both the owner to relax and the pet. They treat all kinds of dogs from hounds to your finest of fine breeds and all with the same amount of care and concern. n November, my nearly 15 year old shih tzu had suddenly taken ill, and the kind folks here told us to come in right away. My dog died in my arms as we pulled into the parking lot. Both the sig-oth and I were total, blubbering wrecks. I wish there were more Stars to give. As the others have posted this is the BEST place to go with your pets. Dr. Jordan has provided care for our Miniature Schnauzers for years now. As stated below he has a manner with the dogs and they are comfortable around him. Their fees are very reasonable and the service is second to none.
