Walking into Companion is a welcoming experience. The front office staff Molly, Connie, Michelle and others are very polite and accommodating. Also, the Vet techs, Rashinda and others are extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
Dr.Christopher has been treating our dog for 11 years. She has taken such good care of him. She’s available to answer questions, compassionate, and truly cares about her patients.
Also, Dr Murphy has treated our pet. She is very easy to talk to and takes time to explain her a thorough treatment plan.
I highly recommend the Vets at Companion Animal Clinic for your pet’s medical care.

Absolutely fabulous! The staff is so caring and efficient! The doctors are very knowledgeable. I swear by Dr. Christopher! She has taken care of three of my dogs. She is incredibly competent and so sensitive. She has a calming manner that is so important when things are serious. She doesn't push for unnecessary procedures or meds but is instead, conservative while never losing site of what is most important, the health of my dogs. I wish her office were closer but the half hour drive is worth every minute on the road because I know my dogs are getting the very best care. Thank you CAC!

We have used Companion Animal Clinic for vet care and boarding and we couldn't be happier in both fronts. My dogs don't often get boarded and when they do they come home sick and stressed and have visibly lost weight. Not the case when we boarded them recently at Companion. They seemed fine and just happy to see us.

I've been bringing my pug, Lily, here since I got her 11 years ago, and Dr Christopher has been her primary vet for all that time. They have many of the same vet techs since I've been coming here, and also front desk people. They all know my dog and fit her in when needed. I have a dog walking business and refer all my clients who are new to the area to Companion. They all thank me for letting them know about the silver whiskers program for pets age 7 and over. Dr Murphy is the newest vet and she is also great.It's a clean, pretty clinic in an accessible location off 123 on Clara Barton Drive. What more can I say? You'll be happy with the care your pets get at Companion!

Great caring staff. We had to help our fur baby cross the rainbow bridge and the doctor and staff of companion animal helped us the entire time. Dr. Murphy showed compassion and did everything she could to try to make our boy better. In the end though, he let us know it was time. We miss him everyday and when we find our next fur baby we will definitely be going to companion for care.

I highly recommend Companion Animal Clinic. The vets and staff are great. You can tell they really care about animals and go out of their way to help whenever your pet has a medical issue. After my dog had to be on prescription medicine for 10 days, I received a phone call after 2 days to make sure he was doing alright. I also board my dog there when I am out of town. The facility is very clean and well run. Pack Play is a great activity for your dog. Your dogs gets to play with other dogs under great supervision in the turfed back yard twice a week. I am so happy to have such a wonderful place to take my dog.

God knows if it wasn't for Dr CHRISTOPHER's good heart and professional care we had to put nafas down. Dr Christopher took in and board a FOSTER dog with several serious issues that other vets couldn't figure out. It's been over two months and I see how she and her team are diligently and professionally taking care of this dog with love and patience.she is trying different treatments and changing his food to control diarrhea and rectal problem due to human cruelty. The dog gained weight, and is mending.

Situation is that my son found a kitten abandoned and sick, we took the kitten to Companion Clinic for care (this is the vet we use for our other pets, 2 dogs and 1 cat)). The bill was $250+, unfortunately the vet tried to charge me $27 for a half of a Drontal pill (approx. 1000% markup, yes THOUSAND), this item is on several websites for less than $6 for one whole pill, after I questioned this exorbitant charge they reduced it to $9 for half of a pill.....still a complete ripoff. When I got home I researched the cost of a kitten visit to find out that they are charging over 100% more than other vets in the area for the exact same service.....wont be going back there again. I talked to the owner on the phone to explain my displeasure with this overcharge, she was not in anyway apologetic nor regretful about her charges, only offered to forward my records to another vet, basically did not care.

Recently my wife and I had occasion to visit Companion Animal Clinic on Ox Road in the Burke, VA area. The majority of visitors (like us) arrive with our pets when they are in need of medical attention. After almost twenty years, Carol and I loved our pet but Joeys time had come. We arrived unannounced. I was holding her close and we were directed to a small, private room to wait for the doctor. Dr. Janet Lemke appeared after a few minutes. She patiently listened to our story. Carol and I were both taken by her warm reception and sincere personal interest in both Joeys well-being and our distress. It was such a pleasure to meet someone who highly impressed us with her professional manner and personal grace to help us through this unsettling event. In troubling times, its always nice to know where to turn. . .who you can depend upon.

My cat's vet since kitten hood is located in Leesburg. As I am currently residing temporarily in Burke, getting out to her is not always easy. I needed a supplement that my vet recommended I might be able to procure from a local clinic. When I called, not only was Companion Animal Hospital's receptionist extremely kind, when she checked and saw that they did not have what I needed in stock, they graciously gave me the information for another clinic down the street. She also offered to order it for me if it wasn't urgent.It's great to know that I can trust the closest vet clinics to assist me in a pinch.

This is my dogs vet and we have boarded here a couple of times. My complaint is that if you board your animal at your own vet, you would think the care would go beyond just food, water and potty breaks. The persons visually taking care of your animal should see the animal uncomfortable and communicate this to a vet then give the owners a call to assess the situation. This was not done and my dog came home not in the same condition that I brought her in as. So, this was my last time to have her kennel there and last time using this vet.

Upon entering, the front desk staff was friendly, helpful, appeared pleased to be there, and patiently answered all questions. The vet tech took her time to collect our dog's history, and shared all information with the Veterinarian. The doctor then came in and completed a thorough evaluation, and took extra time to describe and illustrate how to best clean our dog's ears at home. Overall, it was a great first experience.

Companion Animal Clinic is wonderful. We recently lost a dog of 15 years, and i have never experienced such a compassionate, caring staff. We have moved from the area and I continue to bring the rest of our pets to Companion Clinic, and always will. They are so dedicated and have a true passion for animals. I will be forever grateful for their help and understanding throughout our loss of Kipper. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for top quality vet care.

I've been bringing my pug, Lily, here since I got her 11 years ago, and Dr Christopher has been her primary vet for all that time. They have many of the same vet techs since I've been coming here, and also front desk people. They all know my dog and fit her in when needed. I have a dog walking business and refer all my clients who are new to the area to Companion. They all thank me for letting them know about the silver whiskers program for pets age 7 and over. Dr Murphy is the newest vet and she is also great.It's a clean, pretty clinic in an accessible location off 123 on Clara Barton Drive. What more can I say? You'll be happy with the care your pets get at Companion!

Great caring staff. We had to help our fur baby cross the rainbow bridge and the doctor and staff of companion animal helped us the entire time. Dr. Murphy showed compassion and did everything she could to try to make our boy better. In the end though, he let us know it was time. We miss him everyday and when we find our next fur baby we will definitely be going to companion for care.

I highly recommend Companion Animal Clinic. The vets and staff are great. You can tell they really care about animals and go out of their way to help whenever your pet has a medical issue. After my dog had to be on prescription medicine for 10 days, I received a phone call after 2 days to make sure he was doing alright. I also board my dog there when I am out of town. The facility is very clean and well run. Pack Play is a great activity for your dog. Your dogs gets to play with other dogs under great supervision in the turfed back yard twice a week. I am so happy to have such a wonderful place to take my dog.

God knows if it wasn't for Dr CHRISTOPHER's good heart and professional care we had to put nafas down. Dr Christopher took in and board a FOSTER dog with several serious issues that other vets couldn't figure out. It's been over two months and I see how she and her team are diligently and professionally taking care of this dog with love and patience.she is trying different treatments and changing his food to control diarrhea and rectal problem due to human cruelty. The dog gained weight, and is mending.

Situation is that my son found a kitten abandoned and sick, we took the kitten to Companion Clinic for care (this is the vet we use for our other pets, 2 dogs and 1 cat)). The bill was $250+, unfortunately the vet tried to charge me $27 for a half of a Drontal pill (approx. 1000% markup, yes THOUSAND), this item is on several websites for less than $6 for one whole pill, after I questioned this exorbitant charge they reduced it to $9 for half of a pill.....still a complete ripoff. When I got home I researched the cost of a kitten visit to find out that they are charging over 100% more than other vets in the area for the exact same service.....wont be going back there again. I talked to the owner on the phone to explain my displeasure with this overcharge, she was not in anyway apologetic nor regretful about her charges, only offered to forward my records to another vet, basically did not care.

Recently my wife and I had occasion to visit Companion Animal Clinic on Ox Road in the Burke, VA area. The majority of visitors (like us) arrive with our pets when they are in need of medical attention. After almost twenty years, Carol and I loved our pet but Joeys time had come. We arrived unannounced. I was holding her close and we were directed to a small, private room to wait for the doctor. Dr. Janet Lemke appeared after a few minutes. She patiently listened to our story. Carol and I were both taken by her warm reception and sincere personal interest in both Joeys well-being and our distress. It was such a pleasure to meet someone who highly impressed us with her professional manner and personal grace to help us through this unsettling event. In troubling times, its always nice to know where to turn. . .who you can depend upon.

My cat's vet since kitten hood is located in Leesburg. As I am currently residing temporarily in Burke, getting out to her is not always easy. I needed a supplement that my vet recommended I might be able to procure from a local clinic. When I called, not only was Companion Animal Hospital's receptionist extremely kind, when she checked and saw that they did not have what I needed in stock, they graciously gave me the information for another clinic down the street. She also offered to order it for me if it wasn't urgent.It's great to know that I can trust the closest vet clinics to assist me in a pinch.

This is my dogs vet and we have boarded here a couple of times. My complaint is that if you board your animal at your own vet, you would think the care would go beyond just food, water and potty breaks. The persons visually taking care of your animal should see the animal uncomfortable and communicate this to a vet then give the owners a call to assess the situation. This was not done and my dog came home not in the same condition that I brought her in as. So, this was my last time to have her kennel there and last time using this vet.

Upon entering, the front desk staff was friendly, helpful, appeared pleased to be there, and patiently answered all questions. The vet tech took her time to collect our dog's history, and shared all information with the Veterinarian. The doctor then came in and completed a thorough evaluation, and took extra time to describe and illustrate how to best clean our dog's ears at home. Overall, it was a great first experience.

We have moved from the area and I continue to bring the rest of our pets to Companion Clinic, and always will. They are so dedicated and have a true passion for animals.
