The Cat Hospital of Fairfax, Inc. was established in 1991 by Dr. Janette Ellison. We take pride in providing the finest feline health care available, with an emphasis on preventative health.
Each staff member is committed to every client and patient. Because of this, doctor appointments are typically 45-60 minutes long. This time is spent talking about aspects of the patient's life, such as nutrition, preventative care, and behavioral issues.
The Cat Hospital of Fairfax, Inc. provides doctor appointments, 15 minute nurse appointments, radiographs, in-house STAT labwork, and a variety of surgical procedures: castration, ovariohysterectomy, thyroidectomy, endoscopy and dental prophylaxis.

We've been bringing our various cats to Dr. Ellison nearly 25 years. She and her staff are always kind, helpful and focused on making our cats feel well, not on any kind of extra/over treatment. I love how Dr. Ellison explains different options and potential outcomes. She's also available for follow up by email if needed, which is a comfort. I travel all the way out from Arlington to Fairfax just to see her and the team at The Cat Hospital of Fairfax. Thank you all for being there!

Dr. Ellison is the most knowledgeable and caring veterinarian I've ever met. I've taken six cats to her over the course of 20 years, and they've all received world class care from someone who really GETS cats and clearly puts in a lot of time to stay on the cutting edge of feline veterinary practices.
