I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Dove for several years, now. My dogs (and one cat!) are pets, but I also show and breed my dogs. At first, I just went for his Repro services, but I quickly switched my dogs to him full-time. I have had a great experience with this practice. Dr. Dove knows things about dogs that only years of hands-on experience can give you. He is excellent with both dogs and their humans. He definitely takes his time, and he has taught me a lot.If I call the office, I can usually get an answer right away. For routine questions, Brian, Cissy, and other knowlegable staff members are there to help. When I have needed a same-day appointment, Pam always works me in, somehow. I might have to wait a bit when I get there, but I will be seen the same day.If you breed, there is no other game in town, IMHO. Dr. Dove will save pups when others might lose them. Very responsive, with 24/7 on-call services for breeders.Because of the popularity of this practice, Dr. Dove can get very busy, especially if an emergency comes in. Over the past year, Dr. Dove has added Dr. Frisch to the practice to help with the workload. Good move. Dr. Frisch is very thorough, skilled and caring. Not sure what was going on with "Bulldog and the tail" issue in the other review, but I can share my years-long experience, having had my dogs (and cat!) checked and treated at Companion for a variety of things. I think people tend to report the negative more often than the positive, so I took some time to write this review.Hope this helps! Read Less
