When we first used Clocktower 4 years ago they were great. Now they lose orders for my cat's special diet, several vet's, such as Moore, are incompetent and cruel. Example: our cat was diagnosed with diabetes. We did everything recommended exactly. However, our kitty just went into horrible failure. Just her genetics, no one at fault. I consulted others and knew she was so ill, she would not recover and made the decision to euthanize her. This Dr. Moore called the night before and lectures me on 'throwing away' my cat, and why not try a different diet. She had not examined my cat. Evidently had not familiarized herself with our file and the proper care always given to our 3 cats. I told her we changed the diet weeks ago, and we were going ahead with our plan. Can you imagine the extra distress this caused? This wonderful cat was in my heart and soul. I changed jobs to earn more money so she could have anything she needed, with no money worrying, or cutting corners. I was so blessed to have that ability. The next day we took her in. Dr. Moore came in with an attitude again and asked us to consider surrendering our baby to A SHELTER! Was she crazy? She would die there in fear and loneliness - how incredibly cruel. I told her off and said get on with it. My husband and I were crying, the cat was distressed more, and this idiot Dr. Says, "you don't understand how stressful this is for me!" I was appalled! Her? That is all she cared about, not the cat's pain, our pain, just herself. A euthanasia should be a calm, compassionate experience as possible, as your heart is broken and will never fully heal. I went medieval on her, told her to quit being so self-involved and do her job or get someone else in now to do it. She finally returned and the process went properly and as best as we could make it for our baby. The Dr said nothing until my kitty was gone, and pronounced her dead. Then instead of letting us leave quickly to grieve, we waited to pay for over 15 minutes. They had forgotten to check the cat in and had to figure out how that happened, fix it, they screwed up the payment and left something out and I had to pay twice, crying the whole time. Then since we were there and already decided never to return I asked to pick up the special hypoallergenic food for my other cat. They forgot to order it 2 weeks ago when I was there and requested it. Do not go there. But I give them 1 star only because they do have 1 good vet on staff, Dr Mazur, but it is hard to get an appointment with a particular vet. When I am grieving less I will request a meeting and vent this, if only to possibly prevent this from happening again to someone else. Read Less
