Market Street Animal Clinic is located in Leesburg Virginia. We are a veterinary pet hospital that creates a nurturing environment tempered with modeled medical care. Dr. Katie and our highly trained team provide gentle and loving care for your dog or cat. Located in a sunny yellow house in historic down town. Our patients and families will feel at home the minute you pull into our driveway.

Exams
We provide comprehensive routine wellness physical examinations as well as exams for sick or injured pets. Exams are essential, not only to care for our pets when they are ill but also to maintain good health and longevity.
Prior to your appointment, we recommend that you jot down any concerns or questions that you may have so that they are addressed at the time of the appointment.
During your visit, a “tip of the nose” to “tip of the tail” exam is performed and recorded in your pet’s medical record. If we identify any abnormalities, we will recommend the best course of treatment and/or monitoring for each condition.

Vaccinations are important to the care and health of your cat or dog. Our goal is to ensure that your pet is protected, not to over-vaccinate. Recommendations for vaccinations are made based on the lifestyle of you and your pet.
Preventative Care – Heartworm Prevention, Flea and Tick Prevention and Parasite Control Heartworm disease is extremely dangerous and preventable!
Flea and tick prevention – Prevention is the key!
Parasite Control – Even if your pet is not showing signs of intestinal parasites, a fecal examination is recommended yearly. Many intestinal parasites can be transmitted to people. . We make our recommendations on parasite control based on the advice of the Center for Disease Control.
We do carry Preventatives in our office and with our on line pharmacy. Certain Heartworm and Flea and Tick Prevention is only available through prescription or a veterinarian. This is the only way the developing manufacturer will guarantee the safety and efficacy of their product.

We've been coming to Market Street Animal clinic for over 20 years for our fur babies. First a greyhound and now a whippet (both of which had/have unique health issues). We found that the original owner, the late Dr. Goodson was an an excellent vet with a wonderful heart and were thrilled to discover that when Dr. Katie Kuchinsky took over the practice several years ago she has the same philosphy and compassion when caring for your pets. She and her staff are efficient and well trained. They have always been able to assist us with our needs, answer our questions, provide up front estimates as well suggest alternative specialists when needed. Their friendliness and skill set is why we drive 13 miles to come to the vet and bypass the numerous other vets located in a 2-10 miles radius from our home.

Everything was wonderful. I appreciated the emailed instructions for pre-surgery, and was so thankful for the quick response and same day solution when we called to let you know one of our children had accidentally fed the cat the day of his surgery. Discharge instructions were easy to follow and I liked that a technician went over the instructions in person with me prior to leaving the office. Peaceful experience for both owners and kitty and his recovery has been complication-free and right on track.

I cannot say enough about the amazing service and Dr Katie at Market Street Animal Clinic. The team is incredibly friendly and loving towards our pets (including follow up phone calls/emailing research and materials). I truly appreciate that Dr Katie provides a continuum of treatment options instead of pressuring to do unnecessary tests/scans/medications that may not be right for every situation. I just recommended Market Street to my Grandmother and her cat and she was also impressed by the service and follow up.

No temperature was taken for our puppy. They gave a 12 week puppy with a sensitive digestive system a process cheese spray without consulting us. And then when I called back, the women at the desk blamed me for my displeasure in my visit. Don't know who there paying for the good reviews, but do not come here. -5 stars

They recommended that my cats teeth be cleaned and gave me an estimate to get the service done with them which was $788.50-$845.50. I did a little research on other Vets that offer dental services that are MUCH more reasonably priced.SO BEFORE YOU GET YOUR DENTAL CARE DONE HERE CHECK OUT:Anicira Vet Center i(n Manassas) they charge $250 for extractions and medication, the price might go up if they have to use a drill to extract the tooth/ teeth. But compared to the price quoted above it would still be cheaper. orHelping Hands (in Richmond, VA) they charge a FLAT fee of $175- no matter how many teeth are extracted! And they provide all the after care medicine in this price.

Drs. Katie and Turner are awesome. They have taken great care of our pets - particularly because 4 of 5 of them are seniors and they have a fantastic senior health program. They are extremely good vets - very thorough and experienced even with complex dental and health issues. They are also very understanding, respectful and care deeply for our bonds with our pets. I can't say enough about their front staff as well. They are always courteous, on time, friendly and organized. What else can you ask for?!

She is so personable and really cares about all the animals she treats. She will only treat and recommend things that are absolutely necessary, not like other vets that try to basically make you pay your life away. This is also the most inexpensive vet around. I recommend Dr. Katie and her staff to anyone. You will not regret going here!

At the first visit, he got down on the floor to play with my dog.When possible, Dr. Silbiger will offer options for treating your pet. If your pet miraculously recovers on the day of scheduled surgery, he will be happy she doesn't need surgery, regardless of the disruption to his schedule. The patient always comes first.Market Street Animal Clinic is located in an historic building, but make no mistake - your pet will receive state-of- the-art care from Dr. Silbiger. Whether my dog is having surgery for a bladder stone or annual vaccinations, I know she is receiving the very best care.

Exams
We provide comprehensive routine wellness physical examinations as well as exams for sick or injured pets. Exams are essential, not only to care for our pets when they are ill but also to maintain good health and longevity.
Prior to your appointment, we recommend that you jot down any concerns or questions that you may have so that they are addressed at the time of the appointment.
During your visit, a “tip of the nose” to “tip of the tail” exam is performed and recorded in your pet’s medical record. If we identify any abnormalities, we will recommend the best course of treatment and/or monitoring for each condition.

We've been coming to Market Street Animal clinic for over 20 years for our fur babies. First a greyhound and now a whippet (both of which had/have unique health issues). We found that the original owner, the late Dr. Goodson was an an excellent vet with a wonderful heart and were thrilled to discover that when Dr. Katie Kuchinsky took over the practice several years ago she has the same philosphy and compassion when caring for your pets. She and her staff are efficient and well trained. They have always been able to assist us with our needs, answer our questions, provide up front estimates as well suggest alternative specialists when needed. Their friendliness and skill set is why we drive 13 miles to come to the vet and bypass the numerous other vets located in a 2-10 miles radius from our home.

Everything was wonderful. I appreciated the emailed instructions for pre-surgery, and was so thankful for the quick response and same day solution when we called to let you know one of our children had accidentally fed the cat the day of his surgery. Discharge instructions were easy to follow and I liked that a technician went over the instructions in person with me prior to leaving the office. Peaceful experience for both owners and kitty and his recovery has been complication-free and right on track.

I truly appreciate that Dr Katie provides a continuum of treatment options instead of pressuring to do unnecessary tests/scans/medications that may not be right for every situation. I did a little research on other Vets that offer dental services that are MUCH more reasonably priced.SO BEFORE YOU GET YOUR DENTAL CARE DONE HERE CHECK OUT:Anicira Vet Center i(n Manassas) they charge $250 for extractions and medication, the price might go up if they have to use a drill to extract the tooth/ teeth. But compared to the price quoted above it would still be cheaper. orHelping Hands (in Richmond, VA) they charge a FLAT fee of $175- no matter how many teeth are extracted! And they provide all the after care medicine in this price.
