Morganna Animal Clinic And Boarding Kennel

My family has been taking our pets to this clinic and vets for most of my life, and i have taken my own dog here since he was a puppy (is now 9) and I have been continuously pleased with them. All of the staff here treats us and our dog so kindly and as long as I live in the area I will continue to bring my pets here for their general care. My dog is special needs and can be a little bit of a grump, and they are always so great with him that he genuinely seems to enjoy his visits here. Read Less

We nave been bringing our Bichon to Dr. Fuller now for almost 16 years and we can't believe anyone giving anything less then 5 stars. We have spent our share of time in the waiting area watching customers interactions with the staff and never witness any issues. My conclusion is you can never satisfy some people. Read Less

I have never had such a bad experience with this vet in my life! I had just taken my god to the vet for a simple parvo test that I had called and made an appointment for and they did not even have me in the books! Let alone they gave my dog shots I did not even authorize at all. I am NEVER taking my dog here again!!! Read Less

The worst place on this coast. For years Ive been dealing with vets since I grew up with pets. Recent move from FL forced me to seek new vet. This clinic is in the neighborhood and so I took my cat there for his annual vaccination. Cant say it was the best experience but still ok. Recently my cat got injured and his wound got infected so we went to the clinic.  Saturday morning, empty waiting room, fully staffed office after meaningless waiting we were told "no doctor has no time to see an injured animal with infected wound"..... I've been needing to post this awhile, but this is in my opinion the best animal hospital in Northern Virginia.  I brought my senior Siamese cat here in 2012 after moving to the area, and I consistently received fair, professional, compassionate, and competitively priced vet.  I also never felt judged by staff, which was a big plus.  Don't be fooled by the older looking building or super congested location in Manassas.  Pass by the others and come here instead.  In the four years after I arrived, my cat suffered declining health, and Dr. Fuller was very patient with my many worries and concerns as well as difficulties affording his increasingly expensive care.  When the time came last summer that I had to put my by then 20 year old cat asleep, she and the whole staff were very supportive and gentle.  I'd even say the other staff were rather moved as my boy was always a very sweet, gentle, and beautiful cat who was a favorite of the staff!   As of 2017 I have not adopted another pet, but if I still live in the area when I am able to adopt in the future, this is where I will be taking my new furry friend(s).  Thank you, Dr. Fuller and staff! Tonight I called them 1 hour before they closed because my dog was urinating blood pretty badly, when I got home from work, and they left me hanging. Saying that they didn't take appointments after 6:30 (when I called it was before 6) and they couldn't help me. The 20 minutes I was on hold, a recording kept saying they treat your dog like it's family. I was appalled by the servicd and dismissal i was given and will not be returning here. Read Less

I have going to Morganna for 20 years now, through seven Siberian huskies. To call the owners, vets and staff my "family" would be an understatement. They have cared for my animals from eight-weeks-old to death at 15 years with love, compassion, kindness, professionalism and great medical knowledge. Services provided at Morganna for my animals have gone from routine health checks, to boarding, to surgeries to treating a rare medical condition. I would never consider using another vet and I would highly recommend them to anyone that is searching for a vet for their animal.Read Less

This is the most unprofessional vet office I have ever come across. From the time I walk through the door I had horrible service. The receptionist looked at me like I had come to the wrong place, wasn't very polite in welcoming me to their place of business. She asked for my info and reason for visits. I explained that I suspect a UTI, she then had the vet tech come to take my puppy out to she if she would potty. She also made a phone call to another family I'm guessing they had to follow up with some results. She got off the phone and used some bad language. I was just in shock. The vet tech was also very rude, she didn't approach me with a Hi, how are you I'm here to take your puppy out to get a urine sample. She basically came up with a rope slip lead and took her out my arms. I then proceeded to ask her if she was taken her to an area were no others dogs have been for the simple fact she's not fully vaccinated yet and plus I have a litter of puppies at home that I didn't want being exposed to any outside diseases or illnesses. She totally ignored me and walked off. Once we got to the back, I overheard the vet techs and the veterinarian talking about my breed of dog which is a labradoodle. They went on to say behind closed doors what is a labradoodle a Labrador x Poodle, how can you breed a labradoodle to another labradoodle that doesn't make sense. This was just so unprofessional, I didn't come to your place of business for you to talk about my dog I came for a checkup and to make sure she was healthy. They didn't go over any charges with me, didn't see if I wanted to proceed with all the extra stuff they tried to put on my bill, I've been to several vet offices and all have went over cost before proceeding with any procedures and always ask if you would like to start any preventatives and get extra shots for a precaution. I got nothing, nothing but a bill that was close to $200. I told them I most definitely was not about to pay that. Overall this place is awful, not friendly what so ever and I will not be recommending this place to my puppy families nor any military families that will be pcs in the area. we have been using Morganna for all our pets since we moved to northern Virginia in 2004. Their customer service and caring approach to the treatment and maintenance of my beloved fur babies is outstanding. THeir expertise and continued education to ensure currency make me feel like my animals get the best care available for a reasonable price. One of my dogs has a condition that could have gone undiagnosed if it were not for their quick thinking and referrel to a specialist who was able to diagnose an atypical presentation, and what could have killed my dog, is instead a well managed condition allowing him to lead an active/normal life! We used to take our pets to Battlefield Animal Clinic and they were just way too pricey for us. I did a lot of research when I got a new puppy and decided to take him here and so far they have been amazing! He has had numerous appts. and the staff spoils him and remembers him every time. You will not find better prices either! They don't push extras on you and do not charge visit fee's for every visit if your pup is getting any vaccines. Read Less

If your pet is already being threated at morganna its probably a great experience.  not my case so far.   i've inquired x 2 times to have our pet boarded while we head out on vacations. no progress. THE reason for my dissatisfaction is the customer service poc... Once they hear that my dog is being treated at bannafield clinic then theres not much progress from there.  Bannafield is next to my house so we take the pet to bannafield because is near our area.   The customer service poc asked for shots record.....  pets shots are up to date according to what's required by law.....  however, it does not matter if we are up to date.  both times, that i called in need for boarding and a new vaccine is required seems like.  Each time a fax with the records is sent over for their review.  Here's what the lady said to  me... "sent me the fax and check later"...  The first time I had to call several times to check....  is it too much to ask for a call back from customer service as a follow-up?  Maybe if i start taking my pet there for regular visist it may be a different story when it comes to boarding our pet.   Just the tone of the conversation kind of goes the other way when I tell the poc that our dog is threated at bannafield.  just my impression but always a no go when it comes to inquiring about bording him...  best of wishes to all.. Had to leave my pup there last Christmas and I was a MESS about leaving her...Ugly crying and debating canceling my trip and everything. I love that dog and hated the thought of leaving her in a loud kennel full of barking dogs over the holidays was stressful. The gals working were super kind and understanding. Someone even called to check in with me every day while I was gone. Above and beyond, especially for a neurotic annoying customer like I was. Luna's there for the weekend and I was a lot more calm about leaving her!I wish this place was in a more...desirable location. Don't usually have much reason to venture to this neck of the woods (the "oriental massage parlor" around the corner...shudder)...but I can deal with that because these are good folks and animal lovers! I brought my DYING dog here to get treated ASAP. She was incredibly sick, throwing up and pooping on herself. We came to this clinic bc of previous treatments and bc this place had our dogs info on file and when we asked to see someone ASAP bc of the condition of our dog was in, they said "sorry, we don't have anyone available to see her and we have no appointment available." Very heartless and incredibly shocked with the treatment we received. We took our dog to FREDRICKSBURG (*Fredericksburg animal hospital, AMAZING service) bc everyone here in Manassas was "booked" and not available, totally heartless. I'm sure they could've bumped someone from  their routine, non urgent apt. And taken her in to see what's wrong with her. New to the area so asked co-workers for a Vet to care for our newly rescued puppy; had some co-workers actually suggest Morganna and from our first visit I have been really happy. They didn't have any stigma's regarding our Bully Breed dog plus a huge bonus was the least expensive I found from Centreville, Chantilly and Manassas. At her last visit she ripped her dew claw and they cared for her injury & didn't charge a ton for all the extra work and attention. They are very helpful & all of the ladies there were very nice, welcoming and made me feel like I have been going there for years! I have recommended Morganna to anyone who is need of a great place to take their furry family members! Read Less

Awesome service!!!! Been taking my Lab here for years and they are the greatest! I called in to have my dogs rabies certificate mailed to me cause I had lost the original. Brandy gave me the option to come in or to have it mailed to me, I choose for her to mail it to me. After getting off the phone I decided to just drive into the office and get it just in case, and to my surprise she already had it in the envelope and a stamp on it to send it out all within a matter of minutes after getting of the phone!!! This is a great place to take your dog if you are in the Manassas area. Dr. Fuller and her staff are very nice and have taken great car of our puppy. As new dog parents, it was difficult to find just the right place to go. We're so glad friend suggested this place. Dr. Fuller is very good with our puppy. I totally love this place! They take such good care of my kitties, and the doctors are passionate and kind. My cats get great health care here! The hours are also very good!They do a great job answering all of my random questions. They especially do a wonderful job with my "difficult" cat. They really know how to calm him down! Great staff. Terrible experience here.  Do not go here!  They front desk administrators are rude and not friendly at all.  Being a new customer, you would think they would have catered to me somewhat, but no, they did the opposite and completely acted disengaged, even somewhat bothered, to be helping me.  I even tried to make some small talk, but nothing.      Then it took 2 techs to hold down my elderly dog with dementia so the vet could examine her and give her shots.  Being that my dog's dementia has really just been acting up, I brushed it off as that.  But when I took her to another local vet (Signal Hill) and it took only the vet to handle her and she was extremely calm, it makes you wonder....pets really can pick up on their surroundings!I asked the Morganna vet for suggestions on what I could do to help my dog's dementia symptoms, and she really didn't give me any suggestions.  She did get out her vet medical handbook and looked it up for me, but she didn't agree with  the suggested treatment listed (and I didn't too.  I do want to say that I appreciate she made the effort to look it up for me).  But, she also said that she was just at a convention with some of her colleagues and knew there were herbal remedies I could try but she didn't know them offhand.  She said she would get the information and call me with it - never happened.  On the other hand, I got a ton of information at my current vet (Signal Hill) on the matter and it has really helped my dog!I also asked about boarding my dog there (I do not know why now seeing the facility) and was told that there is no one there after hours and that my dog would be in a cage for most of the time there.  And seeing that they only have a teeny tiny patch of grass out front for all of the dogs that go there to use (disgusting) I definitely decided against it.    One of the shots my dog received was the flu shot, which they administer in 2 doses.  We had some unforeseen events happen that I had to cancel her follow up appointment to get the second dose.  When I called back to reschedule her appointment, I was told that she would have to go through the whole treatment again, the 1st and 2nd dose, as too much time had lapsed in between (it was barely 4 weeks).  Never once did they tell me there was a "shelf life" of the 1st dose.  So I decided to call around, and sure enough, you can wait up to 2 months in between doses and it will still be effective.  So either the person who answered the phone was not educated enough, or they were trying to charge me more money for no reason.  Either way, the person who said I would have to start everything over seemed bothered by my call and that she just wanted to tell me "whatever" to get me off the phone. In summary, the vet was nice but didn't offer me much help, the facility seems old and not the cleanest (especially the teeny tiny grass patch they have along a very busy street), and the front desk administrators could DEFINITELY use a course in customer service.  Remember, 1st impressions, whether it be on the phone or in person, are everything!  And in this case, extremely telling.  I only gave it 1 star because I had to choose something.  Will never go here again. I have lived in the area for about 13 months and I initially went to another clinic in Centerville  and another in Manassas Park and didn't like them too much.The reviews of Morganna are right...this place is great! We've lived in Manassas for 29 years and have been going to Morganna for at least 20 of them. The staff is friendly and the Dr's very caring and compassionate. They've seen us through many a pet and when we recently had to put our 15 year old Husky to sleep, they sent a beautiful card all signed by the staff with personal notes telling us how much they loved and will miss him - it touched out hearts.We also use Morganna for boarding and our animals always come out peppy and happy, which tells me they are well taken care of while we are away.I would highly recommend them for any of your veterinery needs! If you are looking for a reasonable place to have your dog boarded while also taking care of any necessary vaccines and tests this is the place.  We have boarded our dog here on three different occasions and our dog Rocco hasn't complained to us once.  All jokes aside though he does get the attention he needs in our absence. We just moved to the area, and our dog was due for his booster shots. I checked Yelp and then called around for prices, and between the positive reviews and being the least expensive vet I could find in the area, I decided to give Morganna a try. I'm so glad I did! Dr. Fuller was great. We had an evening appointment, but she still took her time and did not rush us at all. She answered all of our questions and was very friendly with us and our dearly beloved Rosco. The rest of the staff we encountered in the office were friendly and helpful as well. His exam and shots were only $42, compared to over $80 at other local vets. Visits are by appointment-only, so we didn't have to worry about waiting in line, and they actually took us in a couple minutes early. I am very impressed and will definitely return when we need to. I have taken my three dogs to Morganna Animal Clinic for years. The services are great and the prices are reasonable. Most importantly the staff are knowledgeable, caring and personable. When my oldest dog Gizmo developed cancer Dr. Fuller recommended a good specialist. When Gizmo passed away from the cancer I received a beautiful card with a hand written note offering comfort in my time of grief. Years ago I took my dogs to a fancy vet office recommended in Washingtonian, but they greatly lacked the service and compassion that Dr. Fuller and her staff provide -- proving that fancy and expensive don't mean better. Scruffy (dog) loves the Vets as well as rest of the staff at Morganna Animal Clinic. I love the quick responses I get when I have a question or a need. Their prices are reasonable. We've been boarding our dog here for over two years; about two to four times per year. Our pup is always excited to go there and see the other dogs. She always returns healthy, clean, and happy. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I pass by the clinic regularly on my way to work and always see someone outside exercising the dogs. Scheduling has always been easy.
