I brought my 14 year old shih tzu dog for a long overdue checkup. The doctor and staff were friendly, thorough and I felt my baby furball was taken care of- even though she personally did not like all the tests, shots..etc. I felt confident enough to bring her back for a doggy haircut. It was a good price and they listened to what I wanted- even though my dog did not agree. Lol. I will be coming back to Signal Hill for both services again soon. :)

We are moving about an hour away in a month or so and I am going to make the drive here, every time, to continue using this clinic. They have taken AMAZING care of my diabetic dog and have always made both of us feel comfortable, which is great for my baby because she is very timid. From helping me realize she had diabetes, to managing it, and everything in between 10/10!! The entire staff is amazing but the newest doctor (who's name I won't butcher because I cannot spell) is OUTSTANDING. Super knowledgeable, amazing bedside manner, great with my weirdo dog. Also, veterinary services are expensive but this clinic is very upfront before they start things with how much everything will be and very honest about what they really deem necessary and where I can save some costs. I could not recommend this place any higher.

I'm was pleased to have found that Dr. Deutsch was now practicing in my area close to Gainesville. I always found him to be very informed about my dog's health and was confident in his advice and procedures. I recently took my two fosters (Cavaliers) to him for shot updates and he was as gentle and informed as he's always been. I highly recommend Dr. Deutsch and Signal Hill Animal Clinic for your pets' needs. He and his staff are always kind and gentle with the animals and helpful to us parents, too!

I never have any issues at Signal Hill. They always remember my dog, Brady, when he walks in. The staff and doctors are always efficient and the most I've had to wait was 10 min in the exam room while they were running a blood test. I also love that when my dog needs a shot they don't make it into a big production where we have to talk to a doctor; they just give him the shot and we're done.
I actually moved to Alexandria last year and still come back to Signal Hill for our appointments; that's how much I like them.

I always recommend this vet to friends and family. They always take such good care of my dog, and always tell us the cost up front. I never have a doubt my dogs are in good hands when I go to Signal Hill Animal Clinic. I recently moved out of state and still travel an hour and a half to make sure my dogs go here as we had a terrible experience when we tried to find a closer vet. The Saturday hours and easy online scheduling help accommodate my busy schedule. I always have and will continue to recommend them to my friends with dogs.

I wouldn't recommend this place. The veterinarian I had just seemed out of touch. He kept calling my male dog a female during the exam, which made me wonder how thourough the exam was. That didn't really bother me, so I planned on going back. I called them frantic one Saturday morning shortly after because my 7 year old dog wasn't able to walk upon waking up and was cowering in pain, they stated they were booked and wouldn't be able to see me. I explained again that he wasn't able to walk and asked if there was any way they could squeeze me in and they refused. I called Morganna Animal Clinic, just down the road and they too said they were booked for the day. I then explained to them that my dog was unable to walk and they said "We are fully booked, but we will not turn down any animal in that condition. Arrive as soon as possible and we'll fit you into the schedule". I'll never go anywhere else than Morganna as long as I live in the area. They were there for me when my regular veterinarian left me in the dark with a dog who was unable to walk and in severe pain. I imagine they have great reviews based on scheduled service, but beware, they will not be there for you when you need them most.

The friendly and professional staff never fail to follow up after a treatment to see how our pets are faring. Given the other vets we've used in the past, I find the care and the facilities at Signal Hill outstanding.

My pitbull/mastiff absolutely loves the staff here, and I'm glad to trust him with them. He was brought in as an emergency not long ago with vomiting fits and diarrhea that had not stopped after two days. He was tested, diagnosed and able to return home the same day, and was able to sleep through the ensuing nights with no more stomach trouble. They helped a miserable dog feel welcomed, and gave him what he needed to feel better. I trust them, they're absolutely worth a shot.

Visited this facility when my female jack russell/pit bull terrier had a hemotoma form on her ear over the weekend. We really didn't have a 'home' vet, so I called around a few facilities to check out office visit rates. Signal Hill Animal Clinic happened to be running a New Client special discount so I opted for this, since it was also near another appointment that day. The staff were courteous and helpful from check-in to check-out. The Dr. was very easy to speak with and he explained the causes and treatment options and let ME choose the path for my animal. Dakota seemed nervous but did well at the appointment. I'm sure the staff doting on her along the way helped with that ;) Thank you for a wonderful first experience from Dakota and I!

My kitty has had some problems with vomiting and the doctor immediately had 5 or 6 different hypotheses for why it was happening and cited study after study regarding the latest research into the common causes for this issue. He clearly keeps up to date on the literature and seems to have almost a photographic memory for it. I feel completely confident in his ability to care for my pets. We had an elderly cat last year that had to be put down and they handled this very professionally and empathically. As a bonus, their prices seem more reasonable than other places I've tried. Highly recommended!

The office staff at Signal Hill is helpful, accommodating, and attentive, following up on all phases of our pet's care. Love this place. They took great care of our dog and followed-up to see how she was doing. I found the front desk and staff friendly and well-educated in the the work of the clinic. Dr. D- (sp?) shows genuine interest in his patients and their owners. His prices are fair and he does not try to sell you anything. He was patient with this owner who asked something in the range of one hundred questions (give or take). More than a couple friends recommended him and I am so glad they did!

The vet did not fully explain anything and I had to ask so many questions that were still not fully answered. And the problems were still there after the treatment of meds. I will not ever go back here.

This place doesn't even deserve one star! The vet doesn't care about the animals and all he cares about is the $$$. It is sad because the girls that run the front desk are very friendly. This vet has missed three times of worms that could clearly be seen without a microscope. He just didn't want to prescribe anything because he wanted me to come back and pay for another full visit. In the mean time he put my fur babies health at a risk. I will tell everyone I know to not go there if they want to keep their dogs healthy

I always recommend this vet to friends and family. They always take such good care of my dog, and always tell us the cost up front. I never have a doubt my dogs are in good hands when I go to Signal Hill Animal Clinic. I recently moved out of state and still travel an hour and a half to make sure my dogs go here as we had a terrible experience when we tried to find a closer vet. The Saturday hours and easy online scheduling help accommodate my busy schedule. I always have and will continue to recommend them to my friends with dogs.

I wouldn't recommend this place. The veterinarian I had just seemed out of touch. He kept calling my male dog a female during the exam, which made me wonder how thourough the exam was. That didn't really bother me, so I planned on going back. I called them frantic one Saturday morning shortly after because my 7 year old dog wasn't able to walk upon waking up and was cowering in pain, they stated they were booked and wouldn't be able to see me. I explained again that he wasn't able to walk and asked if there was any way they could squeeze me in and they refused. I called Morganna Animal Clinic, just down the road and they too said they were booked for the day. I then explained to them that my dog was unable to walk and they said "We are fully booked, but we will not turn down any animal in that condition. Arrive as soon as possible and we'll fit you into the schedule". I'll never go anywhere else than Morganna as long as I live in the area. They were there for me when my regular veterinarian left me in the dark with a dog who was unable to walk and in severe pain. I imagine they have great reviews based on scheduled service, but beware, they will not be there for you when you need them most.

We have had nothing but first rate care and attention for both our dogs from Signal Hill. Dr. Deutsch is caring, calm, and his treatment of our pets has been excellent. The friendly and professional staff never fail to follow up after a treatment to see how our pets are faring. Given the other vets we've used in the past, I find the care and the facilities at Signal Hill outstanding.

My pitbull/mastiff absolutely loves the staff here, and I'm glad to trust him with them. He was brought in as an emergency not long ago with vomiting fits and diarrhea that had not stopped after two days. He was tested, diagnosed and able to return home the same day, and was able to sleep through the ensuing nights with no more stomach trouble. They helped a miserable dog feel welcomed, and gave him what he needed to feel better. I trust them, they're absolutely worth a shot.

Visited this facility when my female jack russell/pit bull terrier had a hemotoma form on her ear over the weekend. We really didn't have a 'home' vet, so I called around a few facilities to check out office visit rates. Signal Hill Animal Clinic happened to be running a New Client special discount so I opted for this, since it was also near another appointment that day. The staff were courteous and helpful from check-in to check-out. The Dr. was very easy to speak with and he explained the causes and treatment options and let ME choose the path for my animal. Dakota seemed nervous but did well at the appointment. I'm sure the staff doting on her along the way helped with that ;) Thank you for a wonderful first experience from Dakota and I!

My kitty has had some problems with vomiting and the doctor immediately had 5 or 6 different hypotheses for why it was happening and cited study after study regarding the latest research into the common causes for this issue. He clearly keeps up to date on the literature and seems to have almost a photographic memory for it. I feel completely confident in his ability to care for my pets. We had an elderly cat last year that had to be put down and they handled this very professionally and empathically. As a bonus, their prices seem more reasonable than other places I've tried. Highly recommended!

Most animal clinics we have visited have competent veterinarians. Also, most have smelly, often dirty, and usually dark front office spaces. Signal Hill Animal Clinic boasts a great vet and uncommonly clean and bright facilities. The office staff at Signal Hill is helpful, accommodating, and attentive, following up on all phases of our pet's care. I highly recommend the Signal Hill Animal Clinic to anyone whose pet is a true "member of the family."

Love this place. They took great care of our dog and followed-up to see how she was doing. I found the front desk and staff friendly and well-educated in the the work of the clinic. Dr. D- (sp?) shows genuine interest in his patients and their owners. His prices are fair and he does not try to sell you anything. He was patient with this owner who asked something in the range of one hundred questions (give or take). More than a couple friends recommended him and I am so glad they did!

I went twice in two weeks with my cat. And each time the vet only spent a few minutes with me and my baby. Each time my cat was quickly diagnosed with something and meds were ordered. The vet did not fully explain anything and I had to ask so many questions that were still not fully answered. And the problems were still there after the treatment of meds. I will not ever go back here.

This place doesn't even deserve one star! The vet doesn't care about the animals and all he cares about is the $$$. It is sad because the girls that run the front desk are very friendly. This vet has missed three times of worms that could clearly be seen without a microscope. He just didn't want to prescribe anything because he wanted me to come back and pay for another full visit. In the mean time he put my fur babies health at a risk. I will tell everyone I know to not go there if they want to keep their dogs healthy
