We have been going here for 10+ years. All of the doctors there are wonderful, and care so much. When I bring all 3 cats together for their annual checkup, to make them more comfortable, the Vet sits on the floor with us to do the exam. The techs and front staff are friendly and help work my 3 cats (and sometimes toddlers). They won't suggest tests you don't need, and will fully explain why they suggest any tests. The staff and Vets are the best! They really are attentive to the pets and love to interact with the animals to gain their confidence. I'm so glad I found these nice people to take care of my 2 cats. They are professional, knowledgeable, and caring. My little guys have a history of doing their best to avoid going anywhere, much less to a veterinarian, but once we get there, they are always treated with respect & TLC and they seem to realize that the staff cares about them. Love the "fear-free" mindset. I was given recommendations for shots, etc... but no hard sell for anything. I was called the next day by Dr.Bolton with results. I have been taken my dogs to KCAC since they first opened over 17 years ago.  They have cared for two generations of dogs (9 total).  They have cared for pets from puppyhood until their passing.  I have always rec'd the most caring and professional care from all of their vets and staff.  My pets have been rescues from pugs to pit bull with all range of illnesses.  I can honestly say they have saved two of my pets lives by discovering potentially fatal issues that had been asymptomatic.  I'm sorry that a few people are disappointed but as resident of Kiln Creek with all my friends are clients here and I have never heard of a complaint.  My pets are my children and I absolutely trust KCAC with their care. My sweet dog just turned 14 and has been going here at least once a year since she was born. Unfortunately this last year we had to go to another vet because we moved away but for years we drove her 45 minutes one way to see Dr. Council because my dog has anxiety and really was only comfortable with this vet. I initially chose Kiln Creek Veterinarians because it was very close and convenient to where I live. However, I have stayed with Kiln Creek Vets for over 6 years because of the quality of care I know my dog gets there. The veterinarians are knowledgeable and take the time to explain things and the staff is very helpful. They always seem excited to see my dog when she comes for a visit, and I always feel like I am leaving my pet in good hands. I love bringing our dog, Molly, to Kiln Creek Animal Care. Everyone is so amazing with her and us. They are always friendly and welcome you with a smile, they remember Molly and us and never mind all her love and kisses. They always very clearly explain everything to us and walk us through it step by step. I never feel any pressure, and I know when Molly is in their hands she is getting the best care out there. They aren't about getting you in and out as fast as possible, they listen to your concerns, and make sure you feel good before you leave. Molly has had to have 2 surgeries and needed to be kenneled over night a couple times, and it is such a relief to not have to worry about the quality of care she is getting. I took both my dog and my cat to that location at two different times and both of them were misdiagnosed. My dog a year later ended up having surgery on his knee and my cat ended up with prolonged herpes infection destroying the tear ducts. They both ended up getting the proper help they needed in the end but I would have saved a lot of time and probably avoid surgery on my dog's tore LDL if I received the right diagnosis . Don't go there if you have a serious concern about your pets  unless you take them to get vaccinated . Anybody can do that. Read Less

I've taken my psychotic hellhound to Kiln Creek twice now and I have to say that I am quite pleased. They treated my high strung psychopath of a dog with patience and great care. They wouldn't use tasers or sharp sticks like I asked (which was a test!) so I really liked that. They also have great events like the open house or pictures with Santa Paws. This place is just wonderful! When we got a 7 week old puppy we brought him here for his first check up and we will never go any where else! I think the prices are reasonable and you get the best care possible for your fur baby. People tell us we are crazy for taking our pup here because it's "expensive". We don't know prices for other Vet's in the area but I can tell you that you pay for what you get and at Kiln Creek you get nothing less than the best! I had been a frequent, loyal customer of the veterinary side*** for ten years when I brought my 13 year old dog in to be euthanized. (Obviously, I felt the staff was "nice" and caring, or I would not have brought my baby there. Over ten years relationships and trust were built.)Although I laid him on the counter and he could not move, My request was refused (!) and I was told he would be "fine" after IV fluids and $300 of medication. (That he did not live to take.)The next day, I came home during lunchtime to check him - he had died. I had to figure out how to dispose of a body in December, with the ground frozen, and get back to the office within an hour. And, of course they did not want the (unopened) medication back. I remain hurt, enraged and insulted that someone I trusted would take advantage of us at an emotional time such as this.  I guess that's the state of the industry today -- money first. ***We only used the boarding side once. My dog was clearly neglected and traumatized. He peed for almost a minute straight when I picked him up and had lost his voice. Read Less

I have only boarded my dog here a couple times. Boarding facilities and staff are very nice and accommodating. We board our dog a lot. Traveling with her just doesnt work well. I dropped her off and got a call a few hours later. She had diarrhea in the cage...We collectively figured it was just nerves, and after a mandatory exam and a thirty-something dollar box of pro-biotic the rest of the visit was fine. Just was not happy to find that added around $100 more to the bill! (exam+test+meds+charge to give the meds). She also came back hoarse. This happens from time to time, but I use it to gauge boarding. I also don't have them bath her just to get an idea of the condition. She came back clean and happy! Good! About that hoarseness...lasted a good bit longer than it should... pretty certain she has caught something. I also inquired about getting a new supply of our heartworm meds....They gave me a price that sounded a bit high. I declined for the time being and called around. The other vets in the area's prices were SUBSTANTIALLY lower. This really left a bad taste in my mouth. Do your homework on what they are charging you. It may be high. Every time I was in there is was always senior citizens bringing in their little yippy dogs and whatnot; my assumption is they are probably from the condos and houses in that general area. They probably just let Kiln charge them whatever they say is 'needed'. Read Less

I am deeply saddened by Logan P's comments about Kiln Creek AC.  Though I no longer see patients there, I do visit frequently. The staff continues to provide the excellent level of care that I feel the patients deserve and the clients are accustomed to receiving. From the caring and hardworking kennel staff, compassionate and knowledgeable technicians and doctors to the organized and harried receptionists, I know they always have the pet's best interests at heart.  While staff does change, I do feel that it has always been a workplace that seemed more like a family and folks are always given the benefit of kindness and counselling before parting of ways. I am sorry that so many months after her resignation, Logan still feels so unhappy.  I hope she will find something that makes her smile again. Read Less

My experience with this vet was wonderful! Everyone was very friendly and kind. Our pet was spayed and had a bunch of dental work done. They took a lot of time explaining and answering our questions. They went above and beyond, comforting our dog post surgery rather than just sticking her in a kennel. Our dog is tiny and they even made a little outfit for her to keep her from licking at her stitches as nothing we could find short notice would fit her. Others have mentioned cost. Yes, quality care for our pets can be expensive but that is part of pet ownership. I will definitely be back to this clinic. We've been to money hungry vets in the past and that isn't the case here at all. They also board and we'll be switching from our current boarding facility to this one for our next vacation. I came to kiln Creek with my rescue dog who I have had for three years. He's had bad teeth since we got him and they only continued to get worse. I've been to Dr. Crist several times and each time she did a thorough review of my pets health and always Gave thoughtful care and good advice on how to best care for my pet, specifically his teeth. We finally made the decision to go ahead and get the dental work done and both me and my pet are very happy with the results. I have noticed a change in his ability to enjoy his toys play, with his pet friends, and eat his food much more comfortably. My family have been loyal patrons of Dr. Stiff's since she began her practice many years ago. I have boarded my dog there on multiple occasions and he would almost beat down the door to get in the building he was so excited to see the staff. When my dog had to be put to sleep I received a flower arrangement from the staff. What a delightful surprise to find out they loved my dog as much as i did.All of the doctors on her staff are phenomenal and very caring. They always take the time to explain any conditions or necessary treatments to you and work with you in any way they can to provide excellent health care for your pets. I currently have two cats, two guinea pigs and a dog which will all be taken care of by Kiln Creek Animal Care for the rest of their lives which will be long thanks to the excellent care they always receive.After this glowing review you may wonder if i am an employee.
