I own a pet-sitting business, and in the 20+ years that I've been doing this, I have (thank goodness) never had to take a pet that's in my care to see the vet, much less to an ER facility. So I was most grateful when I brought a very sweet Bull Terrier ("Shiner") there, thinking she had bloat, which is very dangerous. The good news was that it wasn't bloat -- the bad was she had acute pancreatitis. Regardless, everyone there from the front desk staff, to the techs, to the veterinarians were awesome regarding her care, and were very patient (pun intended) with "Team Shiner", which included her traveling humans who were out of the country, to other members of her extended family, down to myself, all calling for updates, explanations of her condition, what to expect, etc.The costs were pretty significant, but when it's your "child" or a child you're looking after, it's worth it. And being they're an ER facility, they give you initial estimates of the costs of care to cover a 24-48 hour period, and rightfully so, collect the money upfront. The entire staff cared about her well-being and even followed up with phone calls post-treatment to get updates from us! I would recommend them to any and all pet-lovers/owners/sitters. This place rocks! :)On a related note, Shiner's humans have pet insurance, and I do too, and I highly recommend looking into it for your pet/s. I have Nationwide, and it's very reasonable. Read Less
