New Market Veterinary Clinic is a full service small animal hospital in Varina, Virginia serving Richmond, eastern Henrico and surrounding areas. We are committed to providing the highest level of veterinary care to your companion at all stages of his/her life. We are conveniently located in the heart of Varina, close to I-295 and downtown Richmond. Dr.Susan Ware and her team of compassionate and knowledgable veterinary technicians, assistants and client service representatives provide state of the art medical, surgical, and dental care to our patients as well as routine and preventative care to your canine and feline companions.

I send all of my pets to New Market Animal Hospital mostly because they have the more affordable costs that don't compromise the caliber of their medical care. My cat needed to be cared for after I rescued him from the streets. I quickly learned that New Market Animal Hospital had the lesser pricing to perform this treatment.

I am so glad that this clinic is open on Sundays. It is much easier for me to come then rather that taking off work. Our dogs are getting the best care here and I recommend them to everyone.

This place is undoubtedly an animal clinic for the treatment of animals. I've been taking my animals to New Market for years and have always been pleased with the treatment they've received. When I've had numerous dogs treated, they've been great about working out payment plans for large expenses, which is helpful when you have a lot of dogs.

Dr. Ware is the only vet I take my dogs to and I highly recommend her. She truly cares about providing the best care for your furbaby and she's not going to rack a huge bill up for unnecessary testing, etc. I respect her as my vet but more so as a great soul that's here to educate, help and heal.

When I got my first puppy my friend referred me to New Market Veterinary Clinic. I absolutely LOVE it there! Dr. Ware and all of her staff are amazing! Each time we come in we are greeted with smiles and lots of love and attention for my dog, Annie! The staff often gets in the floor to say hello to Annie and love on her! I will never go anywhere else!

I went with a friend to have her cat put to sleep and the bed side manner of the vet was very lacking. I think when someone is putting their cat to sleep there is a way to tell the owner not to be in the cats face because if the cat bites it will not be a pleasant out come instead of saying if that cat bites you will have to cut its head off and mail it out. As someone who is new to the area I will steer clear of this vet.

I took my cat here for several years despite the fact that we live in the Fan, so it was quite a drive. I always felt that she got excellent care here and the vet devoted a good amount of time to examining her and answering questions. Very reasonable prices as well. I wish I could still take my cat here but it's just too far! I would definitely recommend this vet to anyone in the area,
