Thought dog ate something bad had him there Quick. The staff was ready as soon as we walked in. Think God he didn't but they took every precaution to be safe. I called at least 20 vets that do not deal with guinea pig, and wouldn't help me with my emergency case. She may have been able to be saved had she been seen sooner. dr. Bayer came to our house 2 weeks ago because our beautiful black lab, Babe, had cancer & it was time to let her go.. Dr. Bayer was so kind & so understanding of all our emotions! He was so helpful when my husband wanted to bury our Babe in our back yard & even in the pouring rain, helped my husband transport her body. Several days later we were completely awed when we received a sympathy card signed by his entire staff! we are not clients of his but if we lived closer to the hospital, we definitely would be! thank you again, Dr. Bayer & the whole staff for your kindness! My boss found a cute stray dog while doing a delivery. She was chasing him while he was going thru a wooded driveway. She gladly jumped in by just opening the door without acknowledgement. She was not wearing a collar but she's to do mannerisms of of being trained of the basics, like sit. The Helpful staff at Patterson Veterinary Hospital help in finding the owner by finding the chip considering the collar was missing. After deducing which service uses the chip. The owner was located, contacted and reunited with the pooch by closing time. A great ending of the day. 8) Read Less

I have taken my dog to Patterson Veterinary Hospital for some vaccinations, etc. as well as neutering.  I have found the staff and both Doctors Baylor and Winter to be very able, kind and patient as we worked through some issues that arose due to my dog's allergies.  The pricing was reasonable and there were no surprises.  I like to know all possible side effects of drugs and procedures ahead of time, maybe to a fault.  Although not a lot of such information is offered, all questions are answered readily. Wanted to give a big shout out to Patterson Veterinary Hospital. A sweet stray cat made his way in the back door of our church thrift store while unloading items. He was very thin and wouldn't eat. After a whole day of trying to find a home for him, we decided to have him checked out by a vet. I walked in without an appointment and was seen right away. The doctor waived his exam fee, as we are a non-profit and the doctor wanted to do what was best for the kitty. Unfortunately, the cat was in the final stages of kidney failure and had to be put down. It was very sad, but made better by their kindness. I highly recommend Patterson Veterinary. They handled the situation with compassion and generosity. I now plan to bring my pets there. Read Less

Not only did my CAT GET FLEAS from this place they also tried to charge me 300 dollars over the estimate. I had to talk to them quite a few times until they lowered it but would not match there estimate. Dr Bayer claimed he didn't want to "lose money" but honestly he was over charging anyways. Nothing iritates me more then when I'm over charged. Stick to your initial price or tell me ahead of time the price is different. I picked this place for distance reasons and I will never to that again. I believe they noticed I was young and tried to in my words entrap me into more money. What a joke.
