Quioccasin Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care.
Our facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital laboratory, surgery suite, digital radiology, dentistry, ultrasound, endoscopy, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and an indoor boarding facility with outdoor fenced walking areas. Should your pet require any advance diagnostic procedures we work closely with local specialty referral centers.

Absolutely phenomenal. When my senior dog started to get sick, Dr. Evans did everything she could to get my dog better. When my dog wasn't getting better, Dr. Evans went out of her way to figure out what was going on-- calling other vets and neurologists to better get a grasp on what was going on. She completely understood my budget and always worked with us. I live about 30 minutes away from the office, but I can't imagine taking my animals anywhere else.

From check in to check out, staff members have been welcoming and friendly. The vet techs handle pets with TLC. Dr. Randy Mortimer is very down to earth and easy to talk to about concerns, and because of his knowledge of various dog breeds, he was able to really put my mind at ease about a condition one of my dogs has.If you are seeking professional veterinary care, look no further.

The doctors are very patient, honest, and caring. My cat is a butthead with vets but the staff here is very understanding and kind. They are open later on weekdays, and are open on Saturdays, which is a godsend for those of us who work 8-5 jobs. They sent me a thank-you card after my first visit with them, and called the day after my cat's dental procedure to check up on her. They are also well-stocked on medication and special-needs food. I am so thankful for this facility.

I am beyond impressed with Quioccasin Vet. It's a modern facility with advanced capabilities that my former vet couldn't offer. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they truly love animals. I am very happy with Dr. Mortimer's conservative vaccination philosophy where he won't give more than two shots per visit. The walk-in vaccinations are super convenient, too. I feel very confident that my current pets, and any future pets, are in the best hands around.

I love this place so much. My rabbit got sick over the weekend and the vet where I take my dog doesn't see rabbits. Even though I didn't have an appointment here and it was a weekend, they fit in my bun and provided excellent care. They even provided numbers to the few other vets that care for rabbits in the area in the chance that they could see him sooner on that day, but also assured me they would fit him in if no one else was able. My rabbit is feeling much better now and I'll definitely continue bringing him here. I also plan to switch my dog to these vets, as the quality of care and the overall empathetic nature of the staff won me over.

Looove Quioccasin. I moved my pup to QVH from Church Hill Vet over a year ago, and I so happy I did. I can always get an appointment without waiting weeks, and have been able to make last minute appointments for the next day when my pup broke out in a rash. I love Dr. Evans and her approach to always start with the simplest (and cheapest) option before jumping to something more serious and expensive. For me, this has been for environmental allergies. I'm so thankful for their willingness to listen to me yammer on when describing my dog's issue, and I feel heard and always leave comfortable with our plan of action. I've referred 3 other friends to this vet, because I think they are so great.

I trust Quioccasin Vet with my Maggie's (beagle) life. They are kind, caring, prompt, efficient, and most importantly knowledgeable about all things dog! Maggie is a rescue dog, and was pretty anxious and very scared when I adopted her. Absolutely phenomenal. When my senior dog started to get sick, Dr. Evans did everything she could to get my dog better. When my dog wasn't getting better, Dr. Evans went out of her way to figure out what was going on-- calling other vets and neurologists to better get a grasp on what was going on. The doctors are very patient, honest, and caring. My cat is a butthead with vets but the staff here is very understanding and kind. They are open later on weekdays, and are open on Saturdays, which is a godsend for those of us who work 8-5 jobs. They sent me a thank-you card after my first visit with them, and called the day after my cat's dental procedure to check up on her. They are also well-stocked on medication and special-needs food. I am so thankful for this facility.

I am beyond impressed with Quioccasin Vet. It's a modern facility with advanced capabilities that my former vet couldn't offer. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they truly love animals. I am very happy with Dr. Mortimer's conservative vaccination philosophy where he won't give more than two shots per visit. The walk-in vaccinations are super convenient, too. I feel very confident that my current pets, and any future pets, are in the best hands around.

I love this place so much. My rabbit got sick over the weekend and the vet where I take my dog doesn't see rabbits. Even though I didn't have an appointment here and it was a weekend, they fit in my bun and provided excellent care. They even provided numbers to the few other vets that care for rabbits in the area in the chance that they could see him sooner on that day, but also assured me they would fit him in if no one else was able. My rabbit is feeling much better now and I'll definitely continue bringing him here. I also plan to switch my dog to these vets, as the quality of care and the overall empathetic nature of the staff won me over.

Looove Quioccasin. I moved my pup to QVH from Church Hill Vet over a year ago, and I so happy I did. I can always get an appointment without waiting weeks, and have been able to make last minute appointments for the next day when my pup broke out in a rash. I love Dr. Evans and her approach to always start with the simplest (and cheapest) option before jumping to something more serious and expensive. For me, this has been for environmental allergies. I'm so thankful for their willingness to listen to me yammer on when describing my dog's issue, and I feel heard and always leave comfortable with our plan of action. I've referred 3 other friends to this vet, because I think they are so great.

I trust Quioccasin Vet with my Maggie's (beagle) life. They are kind, caring, prompt, efficient, and most importantly knowledgeable about all things dog! Maggie is a rescue dog, and was pretty anxious and very scared when I adopted her. Dr. Mortimer and his associates helped me understand Maggie's behavior and spent time teaching me how to help her. 3 years later, I am still taking Maggie there, but now, she is much more social!
