I have been coming to Stonehenge for 3 1/2 years, since we moved to this location. The front desk staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating, all while being extremely efficient. The Vet Techs are professional, friendly, compassionate, and skilled. The Veterinarians are exactly the same only with a lot more school under their belts. The facility is very clean and bright. I have always received excellent treatment for my cats. When it came time to say goodbye to an old feline family member, the process was done with more compassion than any other I've experienced. I've been going to Stonehenge since my first dog was born 11+ years ago and since Dr. Anthony sold & retired its steadily gone down hill. While there have been MANY examples of poor & unprofessional services I'll share a pretty simple one - dogs come in for yearly check up/shots etc. and they never weighed them even though the scale is to the left of the front door as you enter - it goes down hill from there. I had just enrolled my dog as a patient here at Stonehenge after trying various other veterinarians in the area and this is by far the best experience we've had. My dog had severe and chronic skin allergies and ear infections and had previously been treated at sycamore which cost us a fortune. With all the "necessary" testing and medications we ended up paying over 500$ and all of her symptoms returned shortly after the dosage ran out. They were very pushy and less than friendly. At Stonehenge the experience was completely different Dr. Smith was very warm and really seemed to care about our dog as well as their owner. She didn't push anything unnecessary and gave us very helpful information on how to incorporate healthy routines in addition to her medication and encouraged us to keep her in the loop as far as her progress. We ended up getting better care from Stonehenge and paid less than 200$ to treat the same problems. Highly recommend them and am grateful for the other reviews that swayed me to give them a try. Stonehenge Vet is being unfairly reviewed from what I am reading...I love this vet. I've been to different vets in the area, and I can honestly say that Dr. Smith is the most compassionate, intelligent vet we've ever used. She always listens to any concerns without brushing us off like A LOT of vets do, but there is another vet at this facility I would choose to avoid (I will keep that opinion to myself). --Dr. Smith & Dr. Bergeron have beyond exceeded our expectations.--The day I realized Dr. Smith/Stonehenge was going to be our permanent veterinarian was when I noticed a pencil-eraser sized lump on the leg of my King Charles Spaniel (1 year old); having just lost a fur-baby, I was panicking. I called the vet 5 minutes before they were to close for the evening to make an appointment for the following day. WITHOUT a moments hesitation, the secretary told me to bring Louie in that afternoon and they would stay open until we arrived. They reassured me that the lump looked benign but also schedule us for a removal and biopsy. As we were leaving I took out my wallet to pay and was told not to worry about it - I was completely blown away! Greatest veterinarian experience I've ever encountered. Love this place! Entire staff makes each person and their pet feel like they are the only ones there. I've never felt more at ease at any other vet. The doctors are so current on their education I feel there is no place in the world I'd rather take my baby. And the assistants and receptionists are the kindest I've ever met. Princess was seen today for a nail trim and rabies but ended up getting the works! She was so well taken care of. I have never seen a cat so calm at a vet's office. Drs. Bergeron and Cosby helped our young puppy that had been diagnosed with parvovirus. We couldn't afford much financially, so overnight care at the clinic was not really an option for us, but Stonehenge did show us how to give him subcutaneous fluids so we could treat him from home. The vets were always quick to return a phone call when we had a question concerning his health. Thanks to Stonehenge, "Meatball" did survive through this ordeal, and he is now rambunctious and full of life several months later. Many thanks to everyone involved. Read Less

We used these people for years and particularly like Dr. Cosby. I wil not be back after today's experience having one of our dog's nails trimmed. After the 30 minute ride home my dog's paw was soaked in blood and still bleeding profusely. I tried unsuccessfully to stop the bleeding of the nail with styptic powder. I called to complain and was told that many people complain because they don't take enough nail off and that they didn't cause the nail to bleed on purpose. I was also told I shouldn't get so upset or use profanity. I don't care what most people want. I don't want my pets needlessly hurt and not at a cost of $15.00 and I don't need a receptionist or anyone to tell me how upset I should or shouldn't get. If more people got upset and the staff listened maybe they would do the right thing by the animals and their owners. Read Less

As a customer for over 30 years, with multiple canines and felines, including losing one older dog to post-operative shock, I feel Stonehenge provides great care at a fair price. Having a background in critical care medicine, and business consulting, ...service and effectiveness are top priorities for me. I also prefer to know details of tests and procedures so I can put my pet's medical situation into perspective. Stonehenge gladly provides the details and I couldn't ask for more. The professionals at Stonehenge realize sometimes there are practical limits to what can be done for any patient. The important measure is quality of life for our pets. There is no sense in running unnecessary, expensive tests or charging customers for every dollar they have. Many times one can only hope for the best, as every "patient" presents with unique problems and underlying conditions. Sometimes patients don't respond the way we expect, and we lose sooner than we'd like. Human or animal, that's nature. On one occasion, because of a timing urgency, I took a canine to another vet service, associated with my daughter's place of employment. It was a relatively minor ear problem, but the staff's insistence to include lots of marked-up extras, and the accompanying stiff bill, made me realize Stonehenge is the best place for me. Read Less

The vets here are great. They're especially wonderful about getting your pet in quickly and answering any questions you may have about treatments, health issues, etc.Why only three stars? Their front desk is manned by some of the biggest knuckleheads on the planet. First of all, no matter what time of day I call, I get put on hold for a long, long time. Most of the time, after being on hold, the call will drop forcing me to call again.The front desk is totally disorganized. You never know who to check in with, who is going to take care of payment, etc. I almost lost my head one day when one of the women at the front desk didn't know how to spell FELINE. Are you kidding me? You work in a vet's office!!!!If the doctors and vet techs weren't as awesome as they are, I would be forced to find another vet. Read Less

I would highly recommend Stonehenge Vets. We had our golden retriever euthanized there, and they were so wonderful. They allowed us to grieve properly and cared about our situation as if we were the first customers to ever have to deal with that.
