Dr. Lee and Shelly the receptionist is really a good combination the prices are reasonable and he does not try to price gouge. They will go over backwards for you

We have been taking our pets to Dr. Early and Shelly his assistant and secretary for the last 8 years. Great people! They are fair and don't charge you outrageous prices like these big name vets. They are very caring for your pets and all your needs. We will continue to take our pets here in the future.

Dr. Early is easily the best vet around. He's straightforward, doesn't waste time and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. You can tell he is in the business for the benefit of the animal, not profit. I wouldn't trust my animals with anyone else. Shelly is a sweetheart, and I adore her. She is so sympathetic, and that is a trait hard to find nowadays. Hands down best veterinary office in the Blue Ridge and surrounding areas

I have been bringing my pets to Dr. Early since I moved to the area in 2003. He is very knowledgeable. He is straight forward and does not waste time or $$. Shelly has been his assistant as long as I can remember and she does a fantastic job. My daughters cat recently passed away from cancer and they sent her a very nice sympathy card. Not many veterinary offices would have bothered to do that.

Dr. Early has taken care of our pets for years. He doesn't overcharge or run a bunch of crazy tests. He is loyal to his returning clientel - a man of few words until you get to know him. He's also very busy, so be patient. Shelly is really awesome and far more accommodating than she needs to be.

You won't spend a small fortune taking your animal here, and the good doctor won't run a bunch of silly/expensive tests on an otherwise healthy animal just because it's trendy or profitable to do so. Never had to sit in the waiting room long because they don't overbook. Really knows his stuff, can ask this vet anything. Highly recommend.

I took my cat in for an annual exam and two vaccines. After toting a screaming cat to the vet, I had to stand at the counter for seven minutes, listening to the receptionist and vet discuss another client, and it wasn't pleasant or professional. Finally, I was greeted, and my "annual exam and vaccines" consisted of my cat get two vaccines, a very quick ear check, and I was out the door. No blood work, no temperature, no weight, nothing. As a new patient, even though I provided medical records, I would think the vet would want a more thorough exam, rather than NO EXAM AT ALL. I would not recommend this vet to anyone who cares about the health of their pet. The lack of professionalism and attention to my pets health are the primary reasons I will not return to this establishment.

Dr. Early is easily the best vet around. He's straightforward, doesn't waste time and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. You can tell he is in the business for the benefit of the animal, not profit. I wouldn't trust my animals with anyone else. Shelly is a sweetheart, and I adore her. She is so sympathetic, and that is a trait hard to find nowadays. Shelly has been his assistant as long as I can remember and she does a fantastic job. My daughters cat recently passed away from cancer and they sent her a very nice sympathy card. You won't spend a small fortune taking your animal here, and the good doctor won't run a bunch of silly/expensive tests on an otherwise healthy animal just because it's trendy or profitable to do so. Never had to sit in the waiting room long because they don't overbook. Really knows his stuff, can ask this vet anything. Highly recommend.
