I included her one year old pic in a friends arms and one towards her end! Dr Todd and Dr Graham both took gave Maggie the love and care she deserved! We’ve had Dr Todd since she was about 2 or 3. He is a loving caring veterinarian whom anyone would be privileged to have! He looks at your pet in conservative and more holistic ways ! If one doesn’t help he’ll try other methods! So many Veterinarians are not open to new ideas! Dr Todd was available when I needed him and if not he’d get back to me the same day! We have always used Hanging Rock Animal Hospital, starting back in the days of Dr. Bowman. Dr. Bowman use to treat our family dog BINGO.Our dog passed away, but our cats continue to be seen at Hanging Rock. Will see most of the Vets there but very partial to Dr. Todd. If you don't mind waiting over an hour after your appointment time, and getting charged more than what you're told, consistently, this place is great. When i arrive 15 minutes early, and i still wait another hour, (without anyone speaking to me other than when i asked how long) you've lost a customer. Very disappointed. Read Less

The preventative/comprehensive care package was not explained to me properly such that I didn't get what I was told I would get.  The bedside manner of the vet was far less than desirable.  I'm not planning on returning.  Honestly, since they were running behind with appointments and couldn't take me on time, I wish I'd just left and gone elsewhere. Going to the vet is stressful for some people and some animals; however, I love HRAH. The staff there are very caring and they will remember your name and your pet's name! They are genuinely happy to see you when you walk in the door. I have been taking my pomeranian, Keiko, to HRAH since 2006 when he was a tiny baby and they've always treated him with an abundance of love and compassion and they can handle any type of health issue your pet may have. My experience today was "over the top". Dr. Todd and his assistants are friendly, nice and truly care about the animals. Dr. Todd has treated my dog for the past two months with liver issues; high levels that didn't seem to come down previously. I actually thought I was going to lose him prior to finding Dr. Todd. After two months, today's test revealed is ALP was 196 versus 658 and even higher #s last year. His ALT was 93 (well within the normal range) in Oct. it was 212. I thank God for leading me to Hanging Rock Animal Hospital and Dr. Todd. Bret and I have done our little "happy dance." I would highly recommend this Hospital for all your needs.Read Less

Great Vet practice!  My animals love going there and I have every kind of praise for them as well.  The Veterinarians listen to me and value my knowledge of my animals.  They are very thoughtful in their approach to treatments and to my dogs.  They will put a blanket on the floor in a heartbeat or put us in a room with a sofa.  Unless the dog is tiny, all of their exams have been on the floor which my dogs like.  Recently, I took my livestock guardian in for her annual exam and everyone was slow with her and got everything done at that one visit.  I had been stressing over taking her in and it went so well.  I had taken a dog to my previous vet for five months with a problem that needed to be surgically corrected and they kept refusing to do the surgery.  We were there about 20 times and spent over $1000 on useless treatments.  Dr. Honeycutt looked at her for about a minute and said she needed surgery.  We had it done a couple of weeks later and my dog is well.  The Vet Techs are the most helpful I have ever encountered.  They are a wonderful resource for me.  The clinic has weekly continued education for the staff and it makes a big difference.  Everyone there, from the folks who answer the phone and help you with appointments to veterinary assistants, seems engaged and proud of the service they are providing.  I went to Hanging Rock because I was referred by a good friend who knew I was unhappy with my previous Vet.  I had been going to the previous Vet for over 10 years and thought I was getting good care.   I just didn't know I could have been getting excellent care at Hanging Rock. The Staff and Dr.'s at HRAH are top notch. I have worked with them for 15+ years and adore their passion for the animals and providing the best care possible. They were awesome in providing care for my beloved Truffles who had Osteosarcoma. Dr. Todd offered homeopathic services that enabled me to enjoy 4+ years post diagnosis that traditional medicine would likely not have achieved.
