I take my dog here for shots and for the boarding facility. All the employees are very sweet with him and I feel that I am leaving him in trusted hands. The prices are reasonable and usually when I take him in for his check ups the wait is never long. All around great place and great employees! Read Less

Dr. DJ is awesome. She really gives you the best advice on top items that aren't as costly but give you the most bang for your buck. She doesn't push anything that you don't want to have done, (I.e.- X-rays, tests, etc.). The staff are friendly and the wait times are not more than 10-15 minutes upon arrival. However I will say that there is one Vet who works here that is very very misguided in her craft. Not only did she give us god awful advice, but she was pushy and talked to you like you're stupid. Very irritating. My dog had vaginitis and she decided to only put cream on her vulva and gave her no medications what so ever. She advised us that once our puppy had her first "heat" cycle the infection would go away on its own. The next week after that we had to bring her back for the same issue and Dr. DJ told us that her bacterial vaginitis was severe! And that she was floored the other Vet hadn't given her any oral antibiotics to fight it off! She prescribed us 2 weeks of medication to get rid of the infection. Dr. DJ is awesome, but the other older female Vet is not. Always try to get Dr.DJ, as she makes all attempts to help you save money. She also offers military and senior discounts on Tuesday's. She also provided us with a puppy package that covered the majority of our dog's shots for $88, which was a steal! Overall it's a great place to bring your pets, I just wish they offered 24 hour care, as well as Sunday hours. Read Less

I've been going to this hospital since 2000 and have always had excellent service. The last turnover of doctors is definitely a plus. Is nice to walk into a vets office and the staff knows you and your fur baby. We also do enjoy Dr. DJ - she is so detailed and gentle. Read Less

Needed to take my Dane mix and he has horrid anxiety and leash aggression. Very friendly, clean, professional, and understanding staff and office in general my husband and I loved the trip, price is like the usual around an estimated 150 for all the basics. Knew how to handle my dogs anxiety as well. Great staff love them. Will be using them for our vet office from now on. Also recommended trainer when needed and answered questions for a patient they didn't have their, I highly recommend using this office. Read Less

We have been bringing our two cats here for the past two years. While they can get busy, they always are helpful and friendly, and get us in with little to no wait times. The doctors and staff have given our elderly (15) cat the best care and advice and have made sure our newest addition at a few months old, was doing well and healthy. They even help set up an eye specialist for Columbo's bad eye. SAH continues to be our Vet, and they continue to give great and dedicated service and help. Read Less

The facility is clean and very presentable, but it is the staff that makes this place shine. All of the staff are very professional and obviously care about the animals and the owners. I watched the vet and one of the other staff members provide a woman with the ashes of her pet, explain what everything was in the package she received, and comforted the woman. It was very touching. In a time when customer service does not seem to be a priority, it is awesome to see people who take pride in their work and care about their customers. My GSD gets major anxiety when visiting the vet, Dr. DJ did her best to help with getting his vaccinations and clipping his nails. our dog Buxton had his first seizure on July 2. I called this vet, scared and freaking out trying to get some advice, or an appt even ( I live next door ) they but me on hold for a second and came back and said "we're too busy" and told us we could go up to the emergency clinic way out on 610, in stopped traffic on Rt1 south because it was about to be the July 4 weekend. We knew it was the end for Buxton as he had aggressive melanoma. He had a toe amputated in Dec 2014. He made it til July 7 when we had to make the decision to put Buxton out of his misery. We took him to STAFFORD County Animal Shelter, free of charge. Until, deputy Morelli arrived and slapped my husband with animal cruelty charges. Reason, we didn't get him medical attention. We are from out of town and our Bichon became ill. We called at 7 and they saw us at 9. A.m. We were impressed with the treatment we received. Dr. D-J is wonderful. She listened to our concerns and then examined Angel. She did not see it necessary to run tests and x-rays at this time but did expect two messages for our pet. I took my 14 year old cocker spaniel/ corgi mix today for her annual check up/vaccines and I couldn't have been happier with my experience! The vet and the technician were so good with my girl and explained everything to me. They are very considerate when it comes to the financial burden of pet owners and truly have the pet and owner's best interest at heart. They even reffered me to a great groomer! These folks did everything they could to remove a very nasty growth on my 11yr old Lab/ Shepherd and they were able to save him.
