I found out about Dr. Rowan through Tammy, that is one of the wonderful ladies that works at my doctor's office. Dr. Rowan is very knowledgeable, very kind, gentle, and truly caring. The staff also showed much care for my dog, they were very professional, as well as personable. Dr. Rowan took the time to explain with great clarity the care needed and the expectations. Rheina worked very well with Snowy and carefully explained what she was doing when she started the session of microcurrents. During this time she also patiently shared information of the Kangen water system. They show integrity and honesty and they don't try to push something just to make money. I am so happy I found this place.  I have a small King Charles Spaniel that has had back pain for the last 4 years off and on.  Well in the last month it had gotten so bad he was limping all the time and in constant pain so I started looking for alternative medical solutions.  After his first chiropractic adjustment and IR treatment he was walking much better with almost no limp.  After the second he is acting like his old self before he ever had a problem.  We have another appointment next week.  It has been life changing for Milo and the results are more than I expected I cannot believe there was so much improvement so fast.  So if you have a dog on a pain medication that is not having a happy life get them in here.  In the long run it is better for your companion your pocket. So far I really like this place. As for replacing our full time vet, probably not. They don't provide injections or surgical procedures, which is obviously required at times. But they clearly love animals and give great advice for non unconventional issues, such as diet, supplements, and chiropractic care. For years Dr. Rowan has volunteered his time helping the shelter animals at VBSPCA, so when my own dog was injured, I knew I could trust him to provide compassionate care and alternative approach from turning to aggressive surgery as the first option. I highly recommend you taking your dog or cat to Center for Animal Healing in VB. Peteys sway in her back is not as bad as it was before. He got them on a better, healthier diet. He is adding non-traditional medical treatment for Azzy during her chemo treatments and working together with her oncologist. The charges are very reasonable and they will work with you and make a payment plan with you (no interest). Talked to my traditional Vet today and they have several clients that see him as well, Azzy being the first with cancer from her regular office, they want me to keep them posted on the treatments and response for future patient referrals. Dr. Rowan is amazing! My German Shepherd was suffering from a neck injury about 5 years ago. After the first visit, she was like a new dog! This past weekend her old injury flared up again. I called Dr. Rowan's office and he got us right in. Our girl has been in pain the past few days, not able to move her head much at all. After our first visit today, she was playing tonight! Dr. Rowan is a true example of an individual who enters a profession because he has a genuine passion and interest in the well being of our furry babies! My 11 year old pug was limping and very uncomfortable. A friend told me about Dr. Rowan. He worked his magic with Chiropractic and other modalities plus diet and homeopathic aids. It took a while but he is back to his old self. I highly recommend this practice. The staff is great and love the pet patients. I am so happy that I didn't just go to my vet and get the usual x-rays and pain meds etc. and probably not have good success. The fees are reasonable when you consider the typical vet visits and all the test that go along with that. I hope to have him for much longer now as a trim healthy pug. Read Less
