General Booth Veterinary Hospital is a state of the art, 8000 square foot facility designed for the comfort of our clients and patients. We provide high quality pet health and wellness care to assist your pet in living a longer, happier and healthier life. Our friendly and well trained staff is here to assist you in any way we can to provide for an unsurpassed level of care for your pet.
Our hospital is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association for excellence in small animal care. To be AAHA accredited, the hospital must adhere to strict requirements and is inspected periodically and evaluated on over 900 standards to ensure that those standards are maintained. Only 15% of all small animal hospitals in the United States have successfully gone through the accreditation process. We are proud to reach and maintain this pinnacle in veterinary care and strive to provide you with the highest quality of care.

I could not be more pleased w this vet hospital. Accommodating and affordable. I called in because of my dog having a bad cough and thinking it might be kennel cough. Of course my fur child all of a sudden stops coughing right in front of the staff but the doctor still suggested antibiotics in case it is there. Which I'm grateful for, because what do you know as soon as we got home her cough was back. They were super friendly with my dog with Lovings and treats and my dog even started crying if the doctor or techs left the room. The examination room she was allowed to be off leash and they made sure to bring the paperwork to the car and clear the way for my dog to come in and out of the establishment so no other animals would make contact if she was sick. They even emailed me a vet plan for my dog. I am not her first home and don't know her medical background so for people fostering or adopting they have a plan and are ready to offer that helping hand for things you might not think of. Doctor Keller and all his techs were amazing.

New to the area brought our German Shepherd puppy Kaiser in. He's only 14 weeks and had a strange rash on his belly. Dr. Wood was able to properly diagnose it after the first vet at another place got it wrong. With the right medication it cleared up quickly. The staff is fantastic, true animal loves, friendly and welcoming. They promptly emailed me the shot records I requested, very convenient. Will be permanently switching to this vet.

Needed to find a new vet and General Booth Veterinary Hospital is very close to our new house. Our dog has several health issues so we needed to find a vet in case any issues flared up. The front office staff are friendly and sensitive to our needs. We had a scare and I frantically called. Even though their schedule was full, they fit us in and my vet was wonderful. Because of my dogs health issues, we have had to try new medications, etc. Our vet has been on top of everything, always available when we need her. Thank you Dr. Elliott!

Our first and only experience at GBVH to date was when we made the heartbreaking decision to put my best friend to rest. The staff, I don't remember names, took their time with Sam and handled him with dignity in his final moments.
Since we still have another dog, hopefully we will have the chance to meet on better terms next time. Thank you.
P.S. To the woman who offered this blubbering mess and perfect stranger a hug in the parking lot, your beautiful gesture did not go unnoticed even if I was to distraught to accept your kindness. I wish you well and hope you are met with such kindness if you're ever in similar need.

I have never had to wait long for my appointment in the 15+ years I have been taking my pets here.
I can only give 4 stars because of how expensive Gen. Booth veterinary is. I continue to go due to the service and location.

We would like to thank the entire team for the wonderful loving, kind, and professional care they have provided for four of our dogs, Hansel and Gretel, and Jack and Jill. They cared for H and G in their senior years and J and J from birth until just recently when we lost them after 15 years. From boarding to veterinary care, the service was excellent. We are forever grateful for the kindness shown as our fur babies crossed the Rainbow Bridge and also for the card we received, signed by every one of the team. Someday when we are ready to love another dog, we will utilize this group.

What a wonderful find!! We were on vacation visiting our son and our dog got very sick. Not knowing any vets in town I looked on the internet and this office was closest to us and luckily we were able to get an appointment - only because someone cancelled while my husband was on the phone explaining our dog's symptoms. After going there, I realize why they are so busy. The facility is extremely clean and the staff is wonderful! The staff members who greeted us, the tech, and the doctor were so pleasant and helpful. We were given options for treatment along with a price list and we were able to pick which options we thought were best. If we lived in the area, I would definitely bring all of our animals here!

I absolutely love this place. We got a rescue yorkie and he has been taken care of by Dr. Califf. We absolutely trust her and the staff here. She's very honest about what we need to take care of our dog. He recently needed emergent treatment and had to be seen at a different facility because their office was closed, but Dr. Califf called the day after to check up on our dog numerous times and we came to her for all the follow ups. The staff here is very accommodating and friendly. I'd rather go here than a big box vet anyday.

I just wanted to say how awesome the staff there was today. We are doggy sitting our friends dog, Duke. He ended up with an ear laceration in our care and you guys got us in no problem even though he wasn't our dog. You guys were kind and understanding when I said we didn't have a lot of money to spend. You guys also didn't side eye me as I was trying to wrangle this SUPER rambunctious untrained dog AND my two year old toddler. Thank for making an incredibly stressful situation for me much more manageable.

I've been taking my two dogs here for three years, and I seriously cannot say enough good things about this place-- they are so incredibly accommodating and caring. Not only did they take the time to answer all my questions and talk to me about my concerns with my dogs, but they even called the next day to make sure my dogs were feeling ok after their shots. I also feel like their prices are really fair and reasonable. Dr. Sorrell is the nicest ever and will answer all your questions really thoroughly. Again, I just can't say enough good things about this place!

I have been going to General Booth Veterinary Hospital since it opened in 1991 and I have known Dr. Paul Francois for over 25 years. In all this time I have never considered taking my dogs anywhere else! I have always received the best care and service from the staff. They are always courteous as well as knowledgeable. Additionally, for the past 10 years I have been a volunteer puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Dr. Francois donates 100% of his time and services for these special dogs to ensure that they get the care they need to become the best guide dogs possible for visually impaired individuals. Definitely shows he cares and has compassion for people as well as animals. General Booth Veterinary Hospital is also a very nice facility, beautiful building, great location, clean, and efficient.

I have been going to this hospital for the past three years and would never change. After going to several different local vets with mixed results, I was recommended to General Booth Vets and was astounded with the difference in quality of care for my two cats and dog. I have seen two different vets there and have been very impressed with their caring attitudes and knowledge. All the staff always seems very helpful and friendly. They even helped me carry my animals to the car. It is because of the doctors at this office that my dog is still with me. I have found them to always be honest, friendly and fair with me and I would highly recommend this office to anyone who cares about their animals.

I have had the pleasure of taking my Lab to General Booth Veterinary Hospital for years! They always take great care of her and give her lots of love and attention. I find it easy to schedule appointments, as they have early morning, late appointment times and Saturday hours. I also bring her once a month for a bath & to have her nails cut down and she seems so happy when she is there. I wouldnt go anywhere else! Thank you to all the staff for providing such great care and service!

I am a young guy on a tight budget and have a 12 year old mutt. I love her, she is my best friend. ""Mam"" the nickname I have given her has not been eating and just isnt herself. A friend to me about Dr McMillan at General Booth Vet and so I scheduled an appointment for Mam. Dr Mcmillan took time to ask questions, listen to my concerns and really tend to Mam. The Dr. took an Xray to make sure Mam hadnt eaten anything she should have & recommended doing blood work. I dont have much money, so I am going to try changing food, making sure she drinks plenty of water and walking her more. If these things dont work in the next couple of days I will then go back for blood work. I appeciate the time she took discussing the type of food Mam should eat and how much. Most of all Dr McMillan understood my fiancial situation and how much I love Mam. Dr McMillan is a great doctor, who shows she loves her job! What a great vet! Thank You Dr McMillan! Bill and Mam

I had just moved to the area and was in search of a new Vet. I did quite a bit of research to compare prices and services provided. Both my dogs needed their Rabies vaccine and there was NO exam fee, most places had quoted me $30-$50 for just the exam! Savings!!! Dr. Califf examined my dogs thoroughly and even discussed dental care! Her pleasant, warm & friendly attitude made me know I choose the right vet for my babies! Peace of mind in my new town!

I have been taking all my pets to this place since 1999 and at the start it was great but they keep losing good vets and the owner seems to be money hungry!! I had him ONE time and never again. He seemed annoyed by me and bothered!! About 7 years ago I bounced a check to them and I did not know it, called to make an app. and was told then which was about 7 months later so I paid the money right then over the phone. I went in for the app and saw they had written on all 4 of my dogs folders in HUGE RED INK...NO MORE CHECKS ACCEPTED!!!!! How RUDE to do that!!! I have paid this vet clinic THOUSANDS of dollars and this is how I get treated???? We are now looking for a new Vet....I am looking TODAY!!!!

We would like to thank the entire team for the wonderful loving, kind, and professional care they have provided for four of our dogs, Hansel and Gretel, and Jack and Jill. They cared for H and G in their senior years and J and J from birth until just recently when we lost them after 15 years. From boarding to veterinary care, the service was excellent. We are forever grateful for the kindness shown as our fur babies crossed the Rainbow Bridge and also for the card we received, signed by every one of the team. Someday when we are ready to love another dog, we will utilize this group.

Everytime I call for my girl, Maya who has Addition disease, Dr. Wood sees her immediately. We have 2 standard poodles, that Dr. Libby Wood-Stinson, makes feelcomfortable when they come into her office.
She always does a follow up call to make sure things are going well. I ALWAYS feel comfortable with her treatment of my girls.

What a wonderful find!! We were on vacation visiting our son and our dog got very sick. Not knowing any vets in town I looked on the internet and this office was closest to us and luckily we were able to get an appointment - only because someone cancelled while my husband was on the phone explaining our dog's symptoms. After going there, I realize why they are so busy. The facility is extremely clean and the staff is wonderful! The staff members who greeted us, the tech, and the doctor were so pleasant and helpful. We were given options for treatment along with a price list and we were able to pick which options we thought were best. If we lived in the area, I would definitely bring all of our animals here!

I absolutely love this place. We got a rescue yorkie and he has been taken care of by Dr. Califf. We absolutely trust her and the staff here. She's very honest about what we need to take care of our dog. He recently needed emergent treatment and had to be seen at a different facility because their office was closed, but Dr. Califf called the day after to check up on our dog numerous times and we came to her for all the follow ups. The staff here is very accommodating and friendly. I'd rather go here than a big box vet anyday.

I just wanted to say how awesome the staff there was today. We are doggy sitting our friends dog, Duke. He ended up with an ear laceration in our care and you guys got us in no problem even though he wasn't our dog. You guys were kind and understanding when I said we didn't have a lot of money to spend. You guys also didn't side eye me as I was trying to wrangle this SUPER rambunctious untrained dog AND my two year old toddler. Thank for making an incredibly stressful situation for me much more manageable.

I've been taking my two dogs here for three years, and I seriously cannot say enough good things about this place-- they are so incredibly accommodating and caring. Not only did they take the time to answer all my questions and talk to me about my concerns with my dogs, but they even called the next day to make sure my dogs were feeling ok after their shots. I also feel like their prices are really fair and reasonable. Dr. Sorrell is the nicest ever and will answer all your questions really thoroughly. Again, I just can't say enough good things about this place!

My dog swallowed a toy. They had to remove a toy from my Shi Tzu. The Dr and staff were excellent. The surgery went well and the follow up from the Dr and staff was fantastic. They care about your pets as much as you do. I have never walked into a vet clinic and felt so at home as I do there.

I have been going to General Booth Veterinary Hospital since it opened in 1991 and I have known Dr. Paul Francois for over 25 years. In all this time I have never considered taking my dogs anywhere else! I have always received the best care and service from the staff. They are always courteous as well as knowledgeable. Additionally, for the past 10 years I have been a volunteer puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Dr. Francois donates 100% of his time and services for these special dogs to ensure that they get the care they need to become the best guide dogs possible for visually impaired individuals. Definitely shows he cares and has compassion for people as well as animals. General Booth Veterinary Hospital is also a very nice facility, beautiful building, great location, clean, and efficient.

I have been going to this hospital for the past three years and would never change. After going to several different local vets with mixed results, I was recommended to General Booth Vets and was astounded with the difference in quality of care for my two cats and dog. I have seen two different vets there and have been very impressed with their caring attitudes and knowledge. All the staff always seems very helpful and friendly. They even helped me carry my animals to the car. It is because of the doctors at this office that my dog is still with me. I have found them to always be honest, friendly and fair with me and I would highly recommend this office to anyone who cares about their animals.

I have had the pleasure of taking my Lab to General Booth Veterinary Hospital for years! They always take great care of her and give her lots of love and attention. I find it easy to schedule appointments, as they have early morning, late appointment times and Saturday hours. I also bring her once a month for a bath & to have her nails cut down and she seems so happy when she is there. I wouldnt go anywhere else! Thank you to all the staff for providing such great care and service!

I am a young guy on a tight budget and have a 12 year old mutt. I love her, she is my best friend. ""Mam"" the nickname I have given her has not been eating and just isnt herself. A friend to me about Dr McMillan at General Booth Vet and so I scheduled an appointment for Mam. Dr Mcmillan took time to ask questions, listen to my concerns and really tend to Mam. The Dr. took an Xray to make sure Mam hadnt eaten anything she should have & recommended doing blood work. I dont have much money, so I am going to try changing food, making sure she drinks plenty of water and walking her more. If these things dont work in the next couple of days I will then go back for blood work. I appeciate the time she took discussing the type of food Mam should eat and how much. Most of all Dr McMillan understood my fiancial situation and how much I love Mam. Dr McMillan is a great doctor, who shows she loves her job! What a great vet! Thank You Dr McMillan! Bill and Mam

I had just moved to the area and was in search of a new Vet. I did quite a bit of research to compare prices and services provided. Both my dogs needed their Rabies vaccine and there was NO exam fee, most places had quoted me $30-$50 for just the exam! Savings!!! Dr. Califf examined my dogs thoroughly and even discussed dental care! Her pleasant, warm & friendly attitude made me know I choose the right vet for my babies! Peace of mind in my new town!

I have been taking all my pets to this place since 1999 and at the start it was great but they keep losing good vets and the owner seems to be money hungry!! I had him ONE time and never again. He seemed annoyed by me and bothered!! About 7 years ago I bounced a check to them and I did not know it, called to make an app. and was told then which was about 7 months later so I paid the money right then over the phone. I went in for the app and saw they had written on all 4 of my dogs folders in HUGE RED INK...NO MORE CHECKS ACCEPTED!!!!! How RUDE to do that!!! I have paid this vet clinic THOUSANDS of dollars and this is how I get treated???? We are now looking for a new Vet....I am looking TODAY!!!!
