Dr. Johnson is really great but Dr. Liddell added services without my permission. My animal was given a rabies shot there & they insist she didn't have one. They kept trying to give another! Learn to keep records, people! She was given the vaccine since she had to go to an inpatient care an emergency vet. It was chaotic & stressful for me & her. Additionally, it is the veterinarian's office that has the responsibility of logging shots! I have had at least 6 services really pressured upon me that were not in the best interest of my pet. She took them off my bill when I brought it up with office manager. Had I not read my bill thoroughly, I'd have been charged at least an extra $75. The office manager is very nice & accommodating & when she is present things run alright at the counter. However the second the office manager steps away, the girls in the front office are a mess. They are immature, constantly make mistakes, are incredibly chatty among each other & don't pay attention to people in the waiting areas. Front of the house staff in general lack common sense, decision making skills and professionalism. If you go here, Dr. Johnson is the one to see. She is kind, understanding, and does not push anything unnecessary. She truly has the animals well being at heart. She is the reason I gave even 2 stars. The others I spoke of are short sighted. Perhaps they got me for $500 but that was one time. I'd have seen Dr. Johnson with all 3 of my animals on a regular basis & spent more than that. I'm very disappointed. Read Less

Max and I met Ashley (his new groomer) on Friday. We are in love. She did a magnificent job. Max is cuter than he has ever been. He got the perfect hair cut and trim around his face. He even walks with a different confidence now. Sajo / Hope Springs has always been my veterinary choice. From the front desk support to the Doctor we have always been treated like family. We love this place! The staff, from reception & check-in to groomers and vets are all top-notch professionals! We frequently have to board our sweet dog when we travel, and they take VERY good care of her. We never worry about her, and know they will contact us if something is amiss. The support staff (front desk and techs) has always been wonderful and they're very skilled, but I've had hit-or-miss experiences with the actual vets here. My dog has had her teeth cleaned at this location twice and the price cannot be beat, especially for how well they take care of my dog. I'm extremely frustrated, though, that none of the vets seem to believe how active my dog and I are; her already very short nails have been trimmed during each of her two visits despite specific requests to not do so. Both times they've trimmed her nails, they've bled for at least an hour during our walks. Additionally, the male vet we saw (I don't remember his name) was unable to explain how one of her medications worked. Most of the vets seem great, but there's a reason I found a new clinic. Very kind, caring, professional, and supportive when we had to bring our cat in for emergency services and found out she was in acute renal failure. Our English bulldog has all sorts of allergy issues and doctor Johnson has been awesome about helping her. Additionally the all of the staff is always super friendly and helpful and sofia loves going their for all the extra attention. Went in today thinking we were gonna have to put our 15 year old baby boy down because our primary vet said he was so anemic that there was no hope really left for him. Well some friends of ours recommended we take him here to have the procedure done because of how caring they are. Well they offered a second opinion which we went for come to find out a blood transfusion was really all that was needed. Everything else on his blood work looked good. I've been going to this vet for about 16 years now. They are very conveniently located near my house and they have always been great at working in last minute appointments. You can tell the staff of vet techs genuinely love animals. The doctors are caring and knowledgeable as well. Dr. Ladell is my usual pick, but when she's not available, the others also provide excellent service. They offer boarding that's reasonably priced and I feel like my cat will be happy and safe when I'm away. Some of the other services are rather pricy.... They charge more for a simple spay or netuer than any other place I've been to, and I do get tired of the up sells for certain products. But all in all, I feel that this is the best vet in the area and they always provide the latest services and techniques.Read Less

Between the staff, the vets and the grooming this place couldn't be any better. I was using Banfield, but when a few emergencies arose with my fur babies and they couldn't get me in for two weeks I checked out hope springs. The very first appointment I had was an instant reminder as to why I hate big corporations. So we switched all our pets over to Hope within a few short weeks. I am a military veteran and cat lover so I have been owned by many cats in many different places around the country. I have come in contact with many vet practices and could rate these various practices from negative numbers to awesome... Sajo Farms has blown my mind with the best service, attentive care, and loving attitude toward their patients. The staff... from the front office to the vet tech and Dr. Dailey have a passion for the work they do. I highly recommend this practice to others in the area. I don't normally review places unless I feel it is necessary to warm people. One morning I woke up to my cat meowing very weird like she was in pain, she was breathing heavy and she could not walk on her front paw, So we took her in to Sajo unfortunately. After the doctor checked her out and everything, she told us she wanted to keep her for a few days to stabilize her. Basically the doctor gave us false hope for her. They knew she wasnt going to make it reguardless of what they did but they kept her anyways.They ended up keeping my cat that they knew was going to die for 4 days and charging us over eight hundred dollars. I wish they would of given us a choice in the beginning instead of giving us false hope for her and making her suffer for nothing for another week. I wouldn't recommend this vet to anyone unless you want to be charged an outrageous amount of money for nothing. Stay away! Read Less

I don't know who Skip Schmidt is but he/she must be bitter about something and seeking revenge, retribution, or looking to defame the Sajo Farm Veterinary Hospital name. I have not been to every animal hospital in the area, but of the clinics I have been to and the few I have heard about from other people, Sajo Farm is by far the best I have ever been to. The staff is very knowledgeable and their office always has a pleasant and inviting feel. Since Julie's departure, there has been a different vibe that seems to have positively affected the staff. I am not saying that this has anything to do with Julie's absence, in fact I had several very positive interactions with her. Even when Julie, the old "office manager", was working there I was treated with respect and professionalism. I trust the entire staff at Sajo Farm from the receptionists all the way up to the doctors. They are all very willing to help and I would, and do, recommend Sajo Farm to anyone who is looking for a vet. If you are looking for a great vet for your companion animals then you should try Sajo Farm, you will not be disappointed. Read Less

I feel awful about what happened to Byrne and his/her dog. I can certainly understand why that experience would lead to the review given. But my experience with them has been so vastly different. No, they are not inexpensive, but for the fuzzier members of my family, value is more important than price. Frankly, I do not know enough about veterinary medicine to address that issue. I can only address how my pets and I have been treated for nearly 20 years. The entire hospital is clean, but the atmosphere is anything but sterile. It is warm and welcoming, probably because everyone there is warm and welcoming. They take time to get to know your pet, answer any questions, explain any procedures,and make sure that both the pet and the pet owner are as relaxed as possible. They are the only people who could easily handle my rescued psychotic Lhasa Apso. When my daughter accidentally ran over the front legs of our Schipperke, a vet tech who had only come in to check on her schedule ended up staying 'til midnight to keep the dog company and to give me regular updates on her condition. After every non-routine visit I have received a follow-up call the next morning to check on progress. They do not just treat my pets as a collection of symptoms, but as beloved members of the family. And they treat the family, too. When the Schipperke/van wheel incident happened, I was invited to bring over her favorite foods and stay with her as long as I wanted. Each time we reached that awful decision that we must say good-bye to one of our dogs, their compassion was deep and genuine. It was only after found Sajo Farm that I discovered that a dog could actually pull on the leash to get into the vet's office. There's an intangible atmosphere of caring in there that will keep me coming back as long as I have pets. Read Less

Sajo Farm is ridiculously expensive and they charge you for every little thing. The kind of place that gets your dog in the back to check on the problem you want them to check on, but while they do that they do a whole bunch of other stuff you didn't ask for and charge you for it. Much like a sleezy mechanic would. My dog had surgery on his foot and when the doctor put the bandage on, she put it on too tight and it cut off circulation to my dog's foot. I brought him back in so they could look at it, and, even though it was the doctor's fault, I had to pay $40 just for the doctor to "take a look at him." The same dog just had surgery on his ear because of a hematoma. Doctor Lidell gave him some ear drops as medication and they made him deaf! My dog is now hearing impaired because of Sajo Farm, and the only thing Doctor Lidell could say was, "I don't know what to do because this has never happened before," and, "Well, he'll adapt." Adapt?? Seriously?? What if some doctor made you deaf? There's no way I'd accept, "Well, you'll adapt" as my prognosis. Also the whole reason, as stated by the staff at Sajo Farm, for hematoma surgery is to prevent the dog from having another hematoma. Well it hasn't been a month and he's already got another hematoma on the very same ear. The stitches aren't even out yet, and he's got another hematoma. Kinda makes me wonder what I paid $1000 for. Next week the stitches come out, and that's the last day my dog and I step foot in Sajo Farm. Read Less
