Had taken my dog there and vet immediately said it was a allergic problem without even looking at my pet. Then after arguing him to look, conclude it was mites then gave me a outdated fix for them. Thanks for stealing $150 dollars and more since I had to go somewhere else and get a second opinion.

I have taken my puppy here for the past 3 months for just a bath and nail trims. She is 8 months and weighs about 50 pounds. She is a shepherd mix, so she does get mouthy and has very high anxiety most of time when we are not at home. The first time I took my puppy here everything seemed fine! No one said anything about her behavior or any difficulties they may have had trying to do her bath or nail trim. The second time I come in to pick her up from a bath they said "She was better than last time". Which confused because no one had told me about anything happening the first time. So I talk to one of the girls working kennel, I believe.. she told me that my puppy "did much better than last time" and was "great with her bath". I understand dogs are weird sometimes so I just go about my business and accept her explanation of my pups present and past behavior. The third time I take my dog in I am told by one of the receptionist that they may not be able to do my pups nails because during her second visit they had to have two people hold her down.... which was never NEVER told to me! They sugar coated the whole thing! So I just asked to them to try one more time and if she was really that bad to try a cone or muzzle. When I picked her up they told me it took 3 people holding her down to do her nails. When I looked at her nails they had used a Dremel and not clipped them. She had flakes of nail still attached and she had been quicked on 3 different nails. She also told me they had to muzzle her, which was fine because I had suggested that. I told another receptionist that from now on I would appreciate not being lied to about my dogs behavior. It is very irresponsible to lie to an owner about something they could fix with their dog! I gave two stars because I feel they should be transparent with clients and be very honest about any negative behaviors. I will not be going back because I feel that 3 people holding down a 8 month old puppy is just too much.

Just moved to the area and took our dog for her check-up. All the staff members we encountered were nice. Dr. Joe Wallace was awesome. He didn't just wanted to know about our dog and have us be on our way. He was interested in our family as a whole, dog AND humans together. That just set a great tone for the whole visit and I'm so thankful I went with Magruder-Tabb Animal Clinic for my girl. Also was informed of their boarding and grooming services and just love that it's basically a one stop shop which is fantastic for my busy family! I definitely would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a family friendly clinic!

We've taken all 3 of our cats here, but today we had an EXCEPTIONAL experience. My cat escaped from his cardboard carrier on the way over, and was frantically loose in the car with me and my two young children- when we arrived at the office, the receptionist got us into a room immediately, and then brought us a spare cat carrier that they had on hand, and let us keep it, because she was concerned for the cat being loose in the vehicle with the kids- it was extremely thoughtful and MUCH appreciated. The doctor did a wonderful job with our cat, and went above and beyond with my kids- they both had brought in their stuffed animals, and he was super professional and checked the stuffies heartbeats, and let the kids listen to their studies heartbeats (he made pretend heartbeat sounds with the stethoscope), as well as bandaged imaginary boo boo's on their stuffies, he even let them pick the color of bandage. I appreciate the extra kindness of the staff- the cat escaping in the car was frazzling and everything could have continued on a downward spiral, but the staff turned our hectic morning into a great one. Our cat received two shots and needs to be placed on a special diet, and the receptionist gave us some free samples of a new food to try for him- again, VERY appreciated, as his new diet is going to be very costly, and we may need to try a few different foods before we find the one right for him. I highly recommend this clinic.

Staff and vets are always very nice. Our Callie never wants to leave until she leaves. The grooming services are very nice also. Pricing is comparable to other vet clinics in the area.

I've been taking my dog(s) to Dr Wallace and his staff for more than 20years. They have taken such good care of my dogs both when they weren't feeling well and when they were boarded!! They love going to see Dr Wallace and the rest of the staff. You know when you have a great team when the staff has been together for many years and they know your dog by name!! I have recommended Magruder Tabb to many friends and family members and they all take there pets to Dr Wallace and his staff and are VERY PLEASED as well!! They're the BEST!!

Been going to Magruder Tabb for years now. They take care of 2 dogs and a cat. I would not go anywhere else! The staff is helpful and professional and they care! We trust Dr. Wallace completely and he really cares about our animals and us "parents". I have had many friends switch to Magruder Tabb and they are so pleased. Hope you never retire Dr. Joe!

I've got three medium-big dogs which makes keeping track of things a bit of a pain. They have a "pet portal" to help organize things, and have boarding and grooming services that are less expensive than anything I've been able to find in the area. Prescriptions are cheaper than pet-meds - if your pets get prescribed something it won't break the bank. All the people here are friendly and happy to explain things. My wife usually takes them over which leaves me a bit perplexed when I take them, but the staff keeps things sorted for us :)

I have been going to Magruder Tabb Animal Clinic for 20 years and it is a great place to take your pets! Dr. Wallace and all the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Dr Wallace has the biggest heart of any vet I have ever had contact with. The staff is friendly. I bring my three pets here along with rescue dogs I get. I have been a pet owner my whole life and by far Dr. Wallace is the best vet we have ever had! The entire practice have always been helpful and compassionate and even helped me find some ways to ease the financial of a expensive treatment program a sick dog. When another vet suggested euthanasia of a puppy after she had a seizure it was his staff that that came up with alternatives and encouraged me to wait and see what happened. that was 10 years ago and she is healthy and happy. Love this clinic.

Taking my very sick dog to this clinic was one of the the worst experiences of my life. The staff, including Dr. Bedford, were totally unprofessional and heartless. We knew our dog had a condition that was potentially terminal and, over the course of a couple of months, we sadly watched as she continued to get worse. We made the decision to put her down. Dr. Wallace (very professional and supportive but not in this particular day) initially advised us that she would more than likely not get better, so we were not surprised, just sad to watch our pup suffer. After a couple months time, we couldn't watch her suffer any more. We were then even more shocked by the pressure and candid conversation between the staff regarding our decision. We could hear them in the next room. This made a terrible situation even worse. I will never go here again and I would highly advise others to do the same.

We have been taking our pets to Magruder Tabb since 2006. We have had to have our 14 yearold mix terrier put to sleep and the Doc was the most compassionate person imaginable. Now our 7 yearold pup is well taken care of by the same Doc. We can always get in at convenient times and the entire staff is wonderful. I cannot say enough about how great this vet is. They are not the closest to our home but they are the best and even with the great service they are very reasonable.

This clinic over the years has really gone downhill. The clinic charges for unrequired vaccines and treatments because they recommend them, but they will not see your animal unless you agree. They constantly ask if you want additional items; a shot for this, a shot for that. They have many unposted rules and must have so much business that their customer service is terrible; rude long time office manager who needs to retire, and extremely long waits to have oyur animal seen; sometimes 2 months, even when they have been seen there for years. They have no skills in handling special needs animals. Dr Wallace has been in the community a long time, but this clinic is not what it was 10 years ago. They must feel they have no competition.

My puppy loves this place. They kennel girls play with the animals and genuinely care about your pet. My puppy gets separation anxiety but he gets so excited to spend he day getting groomed and attention while I'm at work. It's hard for me to leave him but I know he's in good hands!

Just moved to the area and took our dog for her check-up. All the staff members we encountered were nice. Dr. Joe Wallace was awesome. He didn't just wanted to know about our dog and have us be on our way. He was interested in our family as a whole, dog AND humans together. That just set a great tone for the whole visit and I'm so thankful I went with Magruder-Tabb Animal Clinic for my girl. My cat escaped from his cardboard carrier on the way over, and was frantically loose in the car with me and my two young children- when we arrived at the office, the receptionist got us into a room immediately, and then brought us a spare cat carrier that they had on hand, and let us keep it, because she was concerned for the cat being loose in the vehicle with the kids- it was extremely thoughtful and MUCH appreciated. I've been taking my dog(s) to Dr Wallace and his staff for more than 20years. They have taken such good care of my dogs both when they weren't feeling well and when they were boarded!! They love going to see Dr Wallace and the rest of the staff. You know when you have a great team when the staff has been together for many years and they know your dog by name!! I have recommended Magruder Tabb to many friends and family members and they all take there pets to Dr Wallace and his staff and are VERY PLEASED as well!! They're the BEST!!

Dr Wallace has the biggest heart of any vet I have ever had contact with. The staff is friendly. I bring my three pets here along with rescue dogs I get. I have taken all my dogs to them since I was a little girl. I love how they value your pets as much as we do. They understand that we love them like family and so they love them as family too. They always remember my dogs and my name everytime I visit. Can't imagine taking my puppies anywhere else.

I have been a pet owner my whole life and by far Dr. Wallace is the best vet we have ever had! The entire practice have always been helpful and compassionate and even helped me find some ways to ease the financial of a expensive treatment program a sick dog. When another vet suggested euthanasia of a puppy after she had a seizure it was his staff that that came up with alternatives and encouraged me to wait and see what happened. that was 10 years ago and she is healthy and happy. Love this clinic.

Taking my very sick dog to this clinic was one of the the worst experiences of my life. The staff, including Dr. Bedford, were totally unprofessional and heartless. We knew our dog had a condition that was potentially terminal and, over the course of a couple of months, we sadly watched as she continued to get worse. We made the decision to put her down. Dr. Wallace (very professional and supportive but not in this particular day) initially advised us that she would more than likely not get better, so we were not surprised, just sad to watch our pup suffer. After a couple months time, we couldn't watch her suffer any more. We were then even more shocked by the pressure and candid conversation between the staff regarding our decision. We could hear them in the next room. This made a terrible situation even worse. I will never go here again and I would highly advise others to do the same.

We have been taking our pets to Magruder Tabb since 2006. We have had to have our 14 yearold mix terrier put to sleep and the Doc was the most compassionate person imaginable. Now our 7 yearold pup is well taken care of by the same Doc. We can always get in at convenient times and the entire staff is wonderful. I cannot say enough about how great this vet is. They are not the closest to our home but they are the best and even with the great service they are very reasonable.

This clinic over the years has really gone downhill. The clinic charges for unrequired vaccines and treatments because they recommend them, but they will not see your animal unless you agree. They constantly ask if you want additional items; a shot for this, a shot for that. They have many unposted rules and must have so much business that their customer service is terrible; rude long time office manager who needs to retire, and extremely long waits to have oyur animal seen; sometimes 2 months, even when they have been seen there for years. They have no skills in handling special needs animals. Dr Wallace has been in the community a long time, but this clinic is not what it was 10 years ago. They must feel they have no competition.

My puppy loves this place. They kennel girls play with the animals and genuinely care about your pet. My puppy gets separation anxiety but he gets so excited to spend he day getting groomed and attention while I'm at work. It's hard for me to leave him but I know he's in good hands!
