Will I use them again? Never. The staff at the desk was sort of rude in the beginning. They were nicer when I went back to get my dogs but still distant. There was ZERO relations with the vet. Like ZERO. I'm so used to a vet telling me everything about my pet that they did, and there was literally nothing at all. I have been to at least five vets and all of them have taken the time to explain things to me, and this vet said 5 words to me seven days later. My dogs did fine, and there were no issues with the healing of the pulled teeth. Again they didn't explain why they pulled 5 teeth from my dog. I had to try and decipher their writing and do my own research. I will just drive the 30 minutes to Indian Trail where they spend as much time as you need talking about what they did! They make you feel special like they actually care about your pet! If you value your pets life I recommend not taking them there. Read Less

We have been using King's for the last year or so..... We have always been happy with their care and service to our pets. But they earned my admiration last month when we had to take our beloved dog to be put to sleep.:(. The receptionist, vet assistant and veterinarian were very thoughtful, gentle, kind and made a bad situation, bearable for me. I took my dog to get neutered at 8am yesterday. They did a blood test. Found his kidney markers elevated. So the vet called me within the hour of dropping him off explaining that they couldn't do surgery and we're going to do a urine sample to check kidney function. He was very pleasant and explained everything and told me if I didn't hear from them by 1pm (5 hrs after I dropped him off) to call the office. One o'clock came around and I was suprised that I had not heard anything, because all they needed to do was collect a urine sample. My dog pees immediately upon going outside in a new place to mark. Urine sample should not be hard to capture. Nothertheless, I called and asked when I could pick him up. The gal that answered the phone said that he was still waking up from anesthesia. I asked why did he get anesthesia. The gal then said for neutering. I said the vet called me this am and said they could not do the surgery because of his kidneys. The gal told me to hold on, then came back on the phone and told me they needed a urine sample to call back in an hour. I told her, they were getting the urine sample this morning and the vet told me to call back at 1. She then told me they couldn't get it (hard to believe knowing my dog very well) to call back in an hour. I told her I wanted to pick him up they had plenty of time to get a urine sample, he has severe separation anxiety and hates to be away from his sister and home. She said call back in an hour. I then got off the phone thinking if they are having problems getting urine, I can get it in 2 minutes and we could go home. I went to the office and was there in less than 5 minutes. The 3 gals at the desk were looking at catelogs and shopping online. I was disheartened. The gal at the desk went in the back. Then another gal brought out my dog. She was VERY pleasant, but still choked back tears as I left. When I got home I realized I had forgot to ask for a copy of his blood test. So I called the office and asked the gal that answered if I could get a copy of his blood test. She told me that they hadn't come back yet and they would call tomorrow with the results. I then asked her how the vet knew the dogs kidney markers were elevated. She said she didn't know the results weren't back and the vet would call me tomorrow. I got off the phone and my husband asked me what they had said. He said that doesn't make sense, he then called and said he wanted the vet to call today. The vet called me back hours later. He was pleasant and explained the numbers of the blood test. Which was refreshing. But I sit here writing this review because I am disheartened. I got no call today, after holding onto my phone tight all day regarding the urine sample. I feel I have to pester them in order to get answers. Kidney disease is a VERY serious disease in dogs. The life of my family member is just dangling there, and I have to hound them for answers. I am writing this review so that others that read reviews can make informed decisions. I am disheartened by my choice. I did not taking picking this vet lightly. I read all the reviews and I called 11 different vets office with a list of questions regarding the neutering before making my choice who I would trust with my family member. My dog is not just a dog he is family. I care for him like I would a child. I am his advocate because he cannot advocate for himself, and I am disheartened by a vet office that does not see that our animals are much more than animals to us. The only reason they earned 3 stars was because of the pleasantness of the vet and the lady that brought back my dog. But pleasantness of the vet is not the only thing that can hold an office together. Read Less

This is by far the best veterinarian that I have ever been to. I have taken two of my dogs here now. One of my dogs had to have surgery to remove a couple of tumors and the entire staff was so accommodating. They made me feel extremely comfortable. My other dog had a bad cough for several months that had been misdiagnosed by my previous vet as kennel cough and then re-diagnosed (again, incorrectly) as laryngitis. I only had to take him to King's one time for them to diagnose him correctly and get him on the proper medication. Christine is amazing and really made me feel comfortable leaving my fur babies with her. This is the ONLY veterinarian that I will trust with my animals. Read Less

We have taken our cats and dogs big and small for surgery and check ups here. They are so awesome! Dr Barry is unbelievably great at surgery. We do a lot of rescues and have had several here. He definitely goes the extra mile and we know we have our babies in great hands. We won't go anywhere else now. Dr Whips is wonderful too. They are both so compassionate and love animals. The prices are reasonable and the office staff is so friendly as well! There is a new vet as well whom I forgot her name, but seems great as well. I really appreciate that they take walk-ins as it makes life very convenient. These guys and gals are the real deal. You won't find a better vet that you will enjoy going to. The vet techs are also just awesome and love animals. This is not the case at all veterinarians, but it is here. Read Less
