The nicest people you will ever meet we did not any problems with are animals but after a delivery down the road where truck drivers are truck broke down on the road in front of the animal clinic a lady approached are truck and ask if we would like a cup of coffee we said we where waiting for the tow truck driver and could not leave the truck and 15 minutes later the 2 lady's knocked on the truck with 2 cups of coffee a bag of sugar and creamer and the best cookies awsome thank you very much the world would be a much better place if everyone was as nice as you..have a blessed day god,bless you Read Less

Dr Ivy is a great vet. She is down to earth and is not out to over charge. I like her sensible no nonsense approach to care. They also offer cold laser thearapy. I had a 13 year old dog and have another 13 year old dog and have had this done for both. Boy does it help arthritis and joint discomfort. Read Less

I've been bringing my gang to Dr. Engstrom for a while now and have been mostly happy overall. Dr. Ivy is a very good vet and I feel fortunate she's so close by. But this review isn't without complaint, as I've noted a few things that could be improved here...and quite possibly things the Doc is completely unaware of. Returning phone calls. Oh man, these guys are awful at this. One of my pets recently received a diagnosis for a chronic condition. So a few weeks back, I called after hours on a Friday and left a message inquiring whether the vet would like to see him the following week. No phone call came Saturday, despite them being open a half day and nothing the following week either. Same thing happened again the other day when I left a message. By the middle of the next day, I still hadn't heard back regarding a question. When I called back to check to make another inquiry, there was zero acknowledgement they'd received the message, but they had an answer ready for me. Not very professional. The support staff (receptionist and a couple of techs) seem fairly dispassionate about their jobs, something I don't particularly enjoy seeing in a healthcare environment. Initially thought it was just a matter of an off day...but after coming here for a few years it's evidently more of the norm. C'mon, folks. Fake a little enthusiasm! Put yourselves in your clients shoes and try seeing things from their vantage point.. imagine how you'd like to be greeted when you go to your doctor's office. Those annoyances aside- overall, a nice little clinic in the valley with a casual vibe and good care for your furry friends. Read Less

Dr ivy is amazing my pets have been going to her since i was 3 I'm 22 now she took care of my first cat when i was 3 then when i was 14 and got my first dog she helped me learn how to take care of her I'm also a dogsitter now when clients say they are in between vets i always recommend her Read Less

Dr. Ivy Engstrom is an amazing Vet Doc.!!!! I took all my animals to her when I lived in WA State (Lord how I miss being there!) I have lived in Colorado for the last 7 years. Never have I found a vet with the compassion she does. & years later I still call her to verify what the docs do/recomend here. Every time I talk to her she gives me advice on how exactly to take care of the animal in question which is 100 x's what the vets here do/say. She never treats me like I can't, and only she can...(like the vets here) She treats me like an equal and helps me take care of my four legged children, as financially and economically as possible. 15,000,000 thumbs up. We take all 3 cats to Dr Ivy although we have moved out of the area. Clinic staff are friendly and knowledgable. One of our cats had major surgery, removing a large tumor. Staff were great about addressing my concerns and (frequent) calls. Read Less

I normally don't feel compelled to write reviews online, but received such excellent service and had a great experience with A Valley Animal Hospital that I wanted to let other pet lovers know about them. The Dr is top notch. Courteous, professional, knowledgeable and caring. Within moments of entering the office I felt right at home and was immediately put at ease by the cheery disposition of the vet tech who greeted me and my dogs from behind the reception desk.
