My Akida had two surgeries with these folks and everything was good. However, my dog started pacing and got lost in corners and was losing weight. I took him back and was told he either had a stroke, cancer (he was a boxer) or cognitive canine disorder. The female doctor simply did not know what was wrong with Akda. After a UA and blood test, an assistant came in and said we were finished; and that his labs looked pretty good. I took Akida again (saw a different female doctor) and was told "he was like a very very old man and will just stop eating and lay down and die." I had him on a prescription pet food, pain meds, anti nausea and liver meds. I spent every moment with him and friends watching him, while I worked. I took Akida again (male dr.) and had him put down and the dr. told me "he probably has a large mass." It was the saddest day of my life. Akida is out of pain now but after researching his symptoms, it appears he had a brain tumor. The women dr.'s appeared to be burned out, but the male dr. was concerned, very comforting and gentle with my Akida. The staff was nice, but some of them acted as though I may have been taking up too much of their time. So, all in all, I would take a future pet to this hospital but only allow the male dr. to work with him/her. Read Less
