The best Vet clinic ever. Dr. Swaney is smart, kind, and compassionate. Our geriatric cat with renal failure is having a great life free of suffering because of him. Staff are wonderful too.

If I could give DRAH more stars, I would. I grew up visiting my family's vet hospital and learned how a great vet treats animals and their humans ... the doctors at DRAH are the same. I live in Seattl...
If I could give DRAH more stars, I would. I grew up visiting my family's vet hospital and learned how a great vet treats animals and their humans ... the doctors at DRAH are the same. I live in Seattle but now commute to Bainbridge after 12 years of seeing the same vet in Seattle (he retired) and not being able to find another vet like my grandfather in the City. My dog had to have surgery two-weeks after I began going to DRAH and the entire experience was made FAR easier because everyone in the clinic (techs, admin, and the vets) were on the same page and attended to my 13-year old dog as well as my grandpa would have. I highly recommend DRAH.

I've had a bad experience at another vet where they offer you things in a manner which implies they were giving you a small sample to see if it'll work, then turns out they write you a prescription for something without telling you the cost. They don't do that at Day Road Animal Hospital. In fact, they are really respectful about making recommendations and letting the pet owner make a decision and going with what the owner wants. Easy free surface lot parking provided. I definitely would recommend Day Road Animal Hospital to anyone on Bainbridge Island!Note: No overnight staff.

I can't say enough wonderful things and feel so lucky that we chose to take our dog to his office when we did. My dog's face was swollen from a bee sting and Dr....
Dr Mark Swaney and staff are awesome!!
I can't say enough wonderful things and feel so lucky that we chose to take our dog to his office when we did. My dog's face was swollen from a bee sting and Dr. Swaney pulled the stinger out of the inside of his lip in seconds flat. He could even tell that it was a honey bee stinger. He did a thorough check and a shot of benadryl and I could not have been more pleased with the attention. Dr. Swaney's bedside manner was top notch as well as the care from the staff. I am so happy to know that when in need, there is caring and empathetic medical team waiting for my fur kid.

I've had a bad experience at another vet where they offer you things in a manner which implies they were giving you a small sample to see if it'll work, then turns out they write you a prescription for something without telling you the cost. They don't do that at Day Road Animal Hospital. In fact, they are really respectful about making recommendations and letting the pet owner make a decision and going with what the owner wants. Easy free surface lot parking provided. I definitely would recommend Day Road Animal Hospital to anyone on Bainbridge Island!Note: No overnight staff.
