I was a client since my dog was a month old now 11. Has been to a few other vets and recently for the past year at Blue Pearl since he was going to the ER a lot. My dog has kidney/renal failure. I’ve been doing sub q fluids at AHOF since he’s been there and closer to where I live. But he always had soreness and a lot of leakage but never when he got them at Blue Pearl or the new vet! I changed vets after 3 weeks becuase they said they could no longer do his sub q fluids and he needed to get another exam. He just got them done at Blue Pearl so why would they need to do another one? So I no longer take him there. This shows me that all they care about is money and not your pet!! Read Less

I personally have been to several vets with my cats and dogs and honestly can say this is the best or one of the best vets I have ever visited. The doctor took a sincere interest in my dogs condition which is difficult to diagnose. But he didn’t mind digging in and Really thinking it through and explaining things to me. I took my beloved 17 year old cat, Duncan, to AHOF today after he started failing and went downhill rapidly the past few days.  Sadly I had to make the decision to say goodbye to my Duncan.  Dr Freiman and staff couldn't have been more kind and compassionate, and they were so sweet with our Duncan.  Dr Freiman was honest and straightforward in a gentle way about Duncan's condition, and explained the euthanasia process so I knew what to expect.  It's been a really tough day, but I'm relieved we chose AHOF and that we had this doctor and staff providing care and helping us say goodbye to our sweet Duncan. Dr. Freiman and Teams level of response, detail explanations, and overall communication is extraordinary.  I personally have only written 2-3 reviews in my life. For me to take the time to write this is a testament of the trust I have in Dr. Freiman and the loyalty I have to AHOF.I have two Shih Tzu's Trico and Rummy. One has Cushings Disease. Dr. Freiman has performed Dental Cleaning, Surgical Cyst removals, as well as all typical care for a dog with Cushings. When I moved to Europe the team went through incredible hoops to get my dogs "prepared" to allow them entry into Luxemburg. Truly went way out of their way and took copious time.When we returned I could not imagine any other Vet even though there are several closer.Dr. Frieman has personally developed with colleague the   Petriage App. Check it out. He did this for his clients to ensure communication and questions could be answered during off hours. I have to give a shout out to Animal Hospital of Factoria. They have been providing care for my pets since 1990. Dr. Shlomo Freiman DVM acquired the biz from the previous owner in about 1999. Thus, he, and his Jack Russell Terriers, and his family including sons, started providing health care for our pets, just as my family, including a son, had acquired a Jack Russell Terrier. Eighteen years later, our Lucky is going strong. At about 6:20 PM today I picked Lucky up from a we...ekend of boarding. It was "respite care" for me, the caregiver to the geriatric family member who benefits from a regular schedule of meds. I make tactical use of a few days of such "respite care" to stack a week's worth of out-of-home commitments into a couple days. When Lucky and I arrived home today, Lucky was in a very chipper and energized mood. From the car, we went on a leash walk, and he trotted happily as we explored. After the walk, we went inside, and he galloped cheerfully around the kitchen/living/dining areas as I put out fresh food, water, and soft things for his comfort when he would lie down. He is now snoozing away in his best orthopedic bed, and I have no doubt he is having sweet dreams. AHOF staff gives him attention, exercise, a social life, and love. Our 10 year old lab has been a patient here for 2 years now and we've been very pleased with the vets and staff. They are very proactive which is awesome. We've had a dental procedure, check ups and a few acute conditions which were all treated thoroughly. They are also empathetic to us as dog parents. We had an emergency on Thanksgiving day and the vet talked to us several times throughout the day while we treated at home. He was willing to come in to the clinic if we needed it. We were amazed. Took my cat to another vet, paid about $700 after tests and unsure why he was having trouble breathing. Non-appt, Dr. Freiman and his outstanding staff got him and and a few hours later, found out it was asthma. Apparently cats get asthma, so Hutch no longer goes outside. Thank you Read Less

A week ago I had a mass taken off of my dog, Taco that tested positive for spindle cell tumor (cancerous). On Thursday we went back and removed a large part of tissue from around the area to assure that the mass was removed in total. Poor Taco was pretty painful for a couple days but did ok with his pain control.Yesterday we got some great news, the mass was removed in whole and pending no more masses show up, no chemo needed for Taco! So grateful that he is going to be ok and that Dr. Freiman and the staff at Animal Hospital Of Factoria took such good care of my little guy! Read Less

It was my first visit to animal hospital of Factoria. They gave me a lot of insightful information it was useful in helping my dogs IBD. It's difficult disease and not a lot of doctors like to think very hard about it but the doctor there was awesome and he spent a lot of time talking to me about ways to manage it. Dr Frieman is a very caring compassionate doctor. My little dog was having an issue with crystals in his urine. Dr Frieman suggested that I put him on CD prescription food to see if that made a difference. He had been on antibotics to clear up the initial infection but Dr Frieman was concerned that it might reoccur. We haven't had any issue with crystals since we put him on a restricted diet. Dr Frieman did not suggest any unneeded testing or treatment. He was very conservative in his approach. He said that if my dog seemed to be doing better on the food, to wait about 3 weeks and bring him back in and he would run one more urine test to ensure he was ok. I was so surprised that for the final test Dr Frieman provided the test without charging as he wanted to make sure my little one was 100% healthy and not just assume he was as he seemed better on the food. I appreciate his caring attitude. His staff is wonderful and very gentle and caring with our dogs. I highly recommend Animal Hospital of Factoria and I am extremely picky and careful about which vet I take my dogs to as they are my family. Read Less

Dr. Freiman and his staff are the best. Every time I take my dog in I feel like they treat her as if she were their own pet, and she can be difficult! Dr. and his staff really listen to what you are saying. If the Dr. says we need to do some tests and will call you as soon as possible, he does. I have never had to call to find out what is going on. We have continuously owned dogs and cats for almost 30 years. During these years we have taken our pets to a number of vets (having to move) and some were very good and a few were okay. Our sheltie has experienced severe skin complications for the past 3 years and has seen 2 vets and a dermatologist to no avail. A local Redmond vet recommended us to Dr. Freiman and he quickly identified the issue (cushings). Dr. Freiman gave me his personal cell number (7X24) and encouraged me to call if our sheltie experienced any complications, whatsoever. Very concerned and impressive individual. Also, we have a very agressive dog who does not like vets (abused early years) and Dr. Frieman knew how to make our dog feel comfortable and for the first time (3 different vets) he was given an exam and shots without being drugged. It is my opinion that Dr. Freiman is by far the best vet we have taken our pets to in the past ~ 30 years. Also, the staff is incredible, very proficient, courteous and a great team! Having become dissatisfied with service at our prior veterinarian, we decided to try the Animal Hospital of Factoria (chosen because of Angie's List and City Search). Our most recent cat is a rescue cat who is still leary of much human contact and it is important to us that he is as comfortable as he can be on trips away from the security of home. Gab's has been treated by both Dr. Deanna Androski and Dr. Shlomo Freiman. They are so caring and gentle and the pets know this. Gab's stays calm during his visits, even when getting his nails clipped! The doctors have always promptly called us with test results and follow-up information. As an added plus, all the staff we have had contact with have always been pleasant experiences. We are pleased with our experiences there; we would not hesitate recommending them to other people! Dr. Freimund amazing. I had a Schnauzer while working both in Palm Springs and in Seattle. She got cancer and had to have chemo every week. My vet in PS did it himself but I could not find a vet in the Seattle area to administer. A friend referred me to Dr. Friemund and he agreed to do the chemo during my stays in Seattle. No one would do it but him. I also have a Maltese who developed an auto immune disese on a Sunday evening. He had given me his cell number and I called him at 6 PM on a Sunday and he told me to quickly meet him at the clinic. He had company, I called in the middle of a dinner party. He came with his wife and started her treatment. She had basically no white cells by the time I got her there. He took her home that night to watch her. He got her obsure disease under control, other vets including emergency vets would not even have know what it was. He consulted with an internist the entire time, for which I was not charged. The disease rose again about a year later, this time she had no white or red cells. She was at the hospital for 10 days almost lost her, but he brought her back. This is a man with a tremendous amount of experience and knowlege. His associate Deanna Androwski is just as amazing. She cared for my Maltese while Dr. Freimund was on vacation and she was there everyday, including Sunday to treat her 2x a day. He is highly regarded by specialist around King county. When I have had to take my dogs to a specialist per Dr. Friemunds recommendations, the specialist praise his work as well. This is a man who truly loves what he does and absolutely goes beyond any expections I would have of any vet, and better than more human doctors. He is one of the most wonderful men. Wonderful place to take a well pet, incredible place for a very sick pet! Anyone who has lost a beloved will understand the need for compassion and patience with both the pet and for its human owners-this man and this women are a true gift. I would place any animal- young old big or small in the very capable hands of both Shlomo or Deanna. To have a vet that will hand out their cell phone #'s with out blinking, so that you can have contact with them at any hour at any time, speaks volumes. To have a Dr. come in on a sunday even tho the hospital is closed to stitch up a bleeding pet is uncomparable, to have the Dr. come to your home with his team of understanding staff and very gently and humanly put your family member to sleep is priceless. Although I think both vets are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and capable, their employees have no concept of what good customer service is. The staff doesn't even act like they enjoy animals or anything about their job for that matter. They are extremely rude on the phone and sometimes place you on hold for several minutes at a time. Also the services are very expensive compared to other vets in the area and the price isn't worth it to have to interact with the incredibly rude, unhelpful staff. Read Less

I took one of my cats to this clinic for a period of two years, the other one for a few months, and I wish I hadn't moved out of the area. The vets are both friendly and knowledgeable. Front desk is nice, and they have ample parking. This was the best vet I have ever visited so far and I've had cats for the last 30 years. Read Less
