Being new to the area, I choose Lakemont Village Veterinary based on their Yelp reviews.  Later I learned that a co-worker was a client and was super happy with the care they gave his dog.  I think I've seen all 3 of the doctors here and they each have been great.  Very caring and focused on needs of my dogs.  Dr. Holly is exceptional.  I popped by to pick up some dog food and she only heard my voice and came out to say hello and check on how my dog Sydney was doing.  She really cares and I appreciate all that she does.  Facility is very clean, has great parking & is easy to locate.  The only area of opportunity I see is with one of the front desk associates.  This individual is nice but doesn't give the level of customer service I see in every other associate.  My perception is they are just there to do the job and nothing more.  Doesn't engage with either the people or pet customers.  Zero rapport building skills with the clientele. This doesn't effect my overall score but definitely needs to be shared in my opinion.  Overall, A+ in my book. Read Less

I will be switching vets.  I meant to do so a while ago, but I decided to give them another chance.  I get a heart worm prevention medicine for my dog, however, this vet doesn't sell a top-rated brand that I use... so they write a prescription for one.  Unfortunately, with the advent of the internet, the local pet supply stores no longer carry Rx's and they leverage their online pharmacies.  I called other vets who do carry it, but they only sell it to their own clients.  So, I've now tried two separate online pharmacies (both very well known) whom require they call the vet to get the script.  But this vet will not do that service... they only write a physical script that is useless.  While the vets themselves may be capable, their customer service policies are abysmal.So, I'm stuck mailing the written script into the online pharmacy and then waiting for mail again to return the product.  Goodbye Lakemont Village. Good care for my dog, very organized and professional, and they are great at fitting in for last minute appointments. I'm rating a 3 because they are very expensive. Just called to make an appointment for my dog's rabies booster shot, but it was 2x as expensive as another vet in Issaquah. They didn't seem to mind they were so much more expensive. Read Less

Dr. Nathan has cared for our animals for the last dozen years.When our beloved 14-year-old cat, Izzy, who had been ill for a number of months, took a turn for the worse, we took her to Dr. Nathan. Dr. Nathan explained her situation so effectively and compassionately that we were moved to take a a difficult step that we had never taken with a pet before -- euthanasia. With advanced intestinal lymphoma, and a weight of five pounds, she had no chance for recovery. She went to sleep peacefully, with Dr Nathan and vet technician, Carly, in attendance. We then took her body home, wrapped her in my husband's clothes (which she had often napped on) and had a funeral for her in our backyard. When I returned to the clinic a few days later to pay the bill, the clinic manger, Carrie, immediately expressed condolences for our loss. After a few more days, we received a sympathy card from Dr. Nathan's office signed by everyone who works there. We are so impressed by the care and attention Izzy received during that difficult time. My three dogs have been seeing Dr. Webster for the last 6 years since we've moved to the Bellevue area. He's just awesome and his team of helpers are great. I'm beyond impressed with this vet office. I've had 4 dogs and just got a puppy. Christine at the front office was super super friendly and helpful in setting up my appointment. Dr. Hoffman was incredible - she was so informative and even helped me clip my puppy's nails since I didn't know how! My puppy Blitz and I left there happy and Blitz wasn't even traumatized! When my dog Jake had a rare cancer she worked hard to find an anti inflammatory in conjunction with SVS that would work with all of his other issues. Dr. Webster has been taking care of my dog Dante his whole life (nearly 14 years).  I moved away from my Lakemont neighborhood a couple of years ago, but I always come back here when he needs care.   Not long ago, we had an emergency with him and since it was after hours we had to take him to Alpine in Issaquah.  We got there at 1030PM and it took until 2AM for them to tell us they could not do anything for him until the morning. Later that morning they told me they didn't have a vet that was qualified to operate on him.  I called Lakemont but Dr Webster had the day off.  Five minutes later he called from home to say he would come in and do the operation.  Dr. Webster even gave him a bath for me before I took him home because I was worried about his stitches. The care and service from not only Dr. Webster, but the rest of the staff is over-the-top incredible.  I can not say enough about them.  I not only believe Dr. Webster saved Dante's life that day, but also that the care he has received over the years has kept him healthy and happy. Dr. Nathan put a rope around my dog's neck and drug him across the floor.  My husband and I were horrified and told him to stop as my dog was yelping.  We had been going there for a few years with our 2 dogs and a cat and we will NEVER go back.  He was trying to take our dog in the back room for an X-ray and we offered to carry the dog but he responded "I know how to handle it."  I have been to other vets in the area and I have never seen such complete disregard for an animal.  He was cold, callous and showed no compassion or interest in treating or finding out what was wrong with our dog.  As I left in tears over the treatment of our animal, we went to another vet that day and found out our dog had stage 4 lymphoma.   If you care about your animals at all.....don't ever step foot in this place. This is the best veterinary clinic I've been too. I've seen both Dr. Webster and Dr. Shearer and they are wonderful. They get down on the floor and give my dog plenty of attention while reviewing his history with me which helps to put him at ease rather than being put on the exam table and prodded the moment someone comes in. They also take their time in getting to know your pet and answering any questions. You can tell they really care about their patients. The staff is also great and appointments are easy to schedule. We have never forgotten the wonderful service, care and precision which the Lakemont Village Veterinary Hospital staff treated our bullmastiffs (Oz and Dazee) and ourselves. Oz required extensive gum surgery and we had Dazee's teeth cleaned at the same time. While she was under the Dr. agreed to try to do something with her eyelid that had been causing her discomfort her whole life, they also did a laser nail trim that was phenomenal. While we nervously waited at home they did a beautiful job, Dazee was so happy the rest of her life it was truly remarkable. Mango has been going here for 7 years. When I moved to Cali for a year- could not find or trust anyone as much as this group. Was glad to move back up - I love the park in the back too which makes it nice to walk him around right after visits. I've taken my cat to many vets around the Eastside, and this is definitely the best.  The facilities are clean, the staff and doctor(s) are friendly, and extremely knowledgeable.  I had spent over $1200 trying to figure out why my cat was urinating orange in the house with tests and xrays at Factoria Animal Hospital.  I finally decided to get a second decision and came here instead.  The doctor immediately knew it could be an easy fix with a change of diet.  They carried the food in stock, and within a few days my cat was back to normal!  I live in Seattle, but still go all the way back for checkups.  Also, I asked about pricing for grooming and food, and they were honest and told me for those things to go elsewhere since vet hospitals charge more for grooming and food.  Thank you guys!Meow. Simply awesome veterinary practice. We've taken our three cats and one dog for their checkups and to diagnose problems. Both vets make you feel like family and I've never felt pressured to do unnecessary testing, in fact, they always offer several suggestions and support my decisions. Dr Nathan even helped me carry my cats out to my truck after an appointment, and I'm an able bodied person. Vets we've seen before have never even considered I'm trying to carry three cat carriers out. And no waiting! They are so fast but never make you feel rushed. I can't say enough good things. Yay!  We think Dr. Webster and his staff are pretty wonderful.  The doctor took time to answer all my questions and to get acquainted with my hyperactive pooch.  He was thorough, professional, and my dog loved him.  I didn't feel rushed or stupid for asking him to clarify anything I didn't understand.  The front staff was willing to work with me despite my busy schedule and it was easy to get an appointment on short notice.Thumbs/paws up! Pros: accomodating to same-day request to be seen. Open on Saturdays. Friendly staff. Dr. Nathan takes time talking to pet parents about their pets issues. Cons: kind of far from where I live, but I chose them because to their hours and good reviews. I have two shelties and they have moved with me from Michigan to California and now Washington. Consequently, we have seen a few different vets. I've taken my two boys to see Dr. Nathan for a year. The first issue was Willie had a skin allergy and secondary infection. That's all resolved now with allergy shots. They both had their rabies updated aswell as the bordetella. I feel that Dr. Nathan is conservative in his treatment and I'm thankful for it. I find the reviews that said he recommended expensive treatment a bit different from my experience there. As for cost, I don't think they are the cheapest place out there. I also believe you get what you pay for. I recommend them without reservation. Read Less

Dr. Nathan Webster and his staff make an extreme effort to help their clients get the best care, provide good prices and in the event they cannot do any thing else recommend specialists that seem to have the same work ethic.  They will do whatever it takes to work out any scheduling needs, prescriptions, etc.  And Dr. Webster takes ample time to discuss your pets diagnosis and possible options.  I wish my own Doctor was as trusting.  In a nutshell this is a class operation. Lakemont Village Veterinary Hospital is possibly the best vet I've ever been to.  Finding a vet after moving is not a fun task, but I'm really glad we came here.The staff was courteous and a pleasure to deal with, the office and facilities were great and the vet was wonderful.  I didn't have any problems getting an appointment, and the vet spent as much time as I needed discussing various options, what worked for him as a pet owner in the area, etc.It's really wondeful to have such a great Veterinary Hospital so close!
